Good hotel but not worth the price.

Location was good, staff was pleasant and easy to work with.

Bathtub could have been cleaner. Could tell it was very old and was cracking/paint chipping off. Very rough surface. Our air stopped working and we told the front desk they said they were “sorry” but did not do much to fix it. Not even offer to fix it.

Uncomfortable and overpriced for the value.

The room decor and common areas were updated.

The bed was extremely lumpy, the mattress sagged in the middle. Also, I screened the property for free parking and breakfast included. I was charged $139 for breakfast—it was not included.

Not what I expected from this Hyatt in that location.

The cleanliness, friendly staff, good drinks, and pool.

Smell in bathroom, very noisy, restaurants were not good.

It was a short and relaxing stay.

Amenities were excellent, pool, gym, outdoor fireplaces, outdoor seating area.

The parking was far and there was not much available parking for guests.

clean, friendly and modern hotel, in a great location and fun amenities

We stayed here 3 times already. service was beyond professional and accommodating! the hotel is clean, full of fun little things for the kids, it's quite and east to get to. off the highway so easy to get to the beach (12 minutes drive) and many restaurants a few minutes' drive away.

i wish there was more "common areas" where you can hang out with friends and NOT in the bar. we like to play cards/ board games with our friends. we had to move some furniture around to make a table of 6. they have a LOT of open space in that hotel lower level lobby. we even had dedicated rooms for our soccer team but that closed at 9 pm and we were asked to leave (even though no one else was there for 3 days after to require them to set up the room to another party. Another thing i HATE in hotels lately is the lack of ability to lock the bathroom door. this hotel also doesn't have a lock on the bathroom door. last thing i didn't like is that every room door that closes, makes SO much noise and can easily wake up a few rooms next to it. i'm taking about a LOUD slam unless you hold it and close it slowly.

Even though I had a do not disturb sign on my hotel room door when I left, it was still entered by the staff at this hotel, and I was literally charged an extensive amount of money for things they claim to have happened

we love the hotel if there was no hurricane we wanted to extend our stay

we like the accessibility of everything close by.

the door of the bathroom does not lock. it helps to have a lock especially if you have a toddler around.

Enjoyable family fun .

The manager and staff were amazing! The manager was very helpful and available. My only issue was the toilet in our room bubbled, mostly at night. Our fault for not making anyone aware. The resort fees and parking were a little pricey.

Superb

The location was perfect to the event I attended. Unfortunately I could not stay the entire stay due to the hurricane that was predicted to come that did on Sunday am . The concierge was very understanding in allowing me to check out a day earlier after contacting Booking.com and being instructed that this would be handle by the front rest manager at the Hyatt Regency La Jolla. Everyone was very understanding of the situation with the severe weather predictions of hurricane Hilary.

great location, friendly staff. had a situation with clogged bathtub and maintenance came up within 30 minutes to fix it. however, housekeeping was supposed to come to clean up after they were done but took over an hour. was credited $50 for inconvenience since the bathtub remained clogged.

Pleasant

The front desk staff are extremely friendly and helpful. We loved the location and that the rooms are quiet. It is also quite spacious.

The pictures shown are not accurate - the actual room looks way more outdated. Worst part, the bed sheets are coarse and gave me bad allergies. Cleaning staff left cleaning supplies in our room as well.

location, Starbucks, room all good

The billing and hold card charging. terrible. they charge your credit card plus $50 a day. up front. shows as a pending charge immediatey. talk to manager, they claim it was my bank problem. called bank, charges were pending. Hotel said, it will credit at check out. St the airport I see 2 pending charges for the inflated $150 more than my receipt says, 2 $839 charges pending for a total bill of $698.58. many calls to Hotel. called bank to only authorize the $698. we will see

Lovely stay

Loved how friendly everyone is. Customer service is great! Really like that there's a restaurant, pool, tennis court, outside seating with fire pits, and convenient valet parking.

I wish the Starbucks coffee was all of the Starbucks menu. They only have Starbucks coffee beans and they don't sell coffee all day.
