Es gibt eine endlose Liste an Dingen, die uns bei diesem super teuren Hotelaufenthalt nicht gefallen haben: Von Nachhaltigkeit keine Spur: toiletries besteht aus kleinen Plastikflaschen Anlage ist veraltet, Möbel und Zimmer abgewohnt. Die Fenster sind weder Schall isoliert, noch Wärme isoliert, die schwarzen Rahmen heizen sich auf. Die Lage im Ostflügel ist so nah an Highway 84 und der stark befahrenen Zugstrecke, dass man im Freien kaum sein Wort versteht und im Hotelzimmer der Lärm beachtlich ist. Es braucht unbedingt eine Lärmschutzwand zum Highway Wir hatten ein teures Zimmer mit Balkon im 3. Stock. Der Balkon war abends nicht zu nutzen, da helle Lampen a den Balkonen immer brannten und massiv Mücken anzogen. Besonders negativ: kein Frühstück incl, das bei den hohen Preisen!! Pool Bereich: Fliesen am Becken defekt, Ausstiegehalter wackeln, Merktafel für Poolregeln ist kaum noch lesbar, keine Handtücher vor Ort, keine Uhr vor Ort, Uhr im Fitnesscenter geht 1 Stunde nach. Was gar nicht geht: ich musste beobachten, wie Angestellter morgens um 7.30 einen Eimer mit Chlorpulver in den Wirlpool kippte, mit Besen zwei Mal rührte und dann weg ging. Niemand hat Wasserproben entnommen!! Personal an der Rezeption war recht hysterisch, wenig verbindlich und nicht hilfsbereit. An der Bar im Restaurant das Gleiche: unfreundliche Mitarbeiter, wenig bereit, einem ihr angebotenes Biersortiment zu erklären. Hinsichtlich 4.7. Feiern gab es keine Hinweise, dass um die Ecke die Stadt Hood River tolles Feuerwerk organisiert. Hundehalter: die Anlage war von Hundebesitzern überlaufen, die zum Teil auch die Hunde auf den Rasen pinkel ließen. Kein Wachpersonal auf dem Gelände

I would definitely recommend if visiting Hood River.

Riverside was great for dinner. Room was great. View on the waterfront just spectacular.

Only gripe is with the ease of access to the first floor rooms. It took a moment to figure out how to get in.

Room was small for price. West side very hot. Air not working well 80’ in room. Asked for river side denied due to outside booking. Discovered blood on sheet (I am sure front desk thought it was mine) it wasn’t. The location is best in hood river but air needs upgrade for price of room.

Amazing location. First floor, small patio and access to the river/sidewalk and grassy area

We are very pleased with the facility and the location of the hotel, however, since our last day at the hotel, which was the summer of 2022, there had been some policy changes that were not communicated to us in advance that were large draws for us to stay at this hotel. 1) Since our last stay at this hotel the hotel changed their policy that dogs are only allowed to stay in the room unattended in a kennel, which was not communicated before we arrived which was not terribly helpful as we could not come fully prepared. 2) Additionally, the hotel changed their policy where they don’t offer breakfast “coupons” to the restaurant for $10 off which was a lovely touch and a huge draw to stay there. It would have been nice to know in advance so we could have planned accordingly.

The food both dinner and breakfast. Fish and chips…fish you can tell was frozen too long and tough. Dates wrapped in bacon were small and tasted rancid. Breakfast potatoes greasy and rancid.
