Bradenton is a Hidden Gem

This was my first visit to Bradenton, and I found the city to be charming. I especially liked the Riverwalk and the Bishop Museum. The Chamber of Commerce was across the street so I paid them a visit, and discovered there were many places I was not going to have time to see on my short visit there. I am hoping to visit again soon. I plan to take the ferry to Anna Maria Island, and to go on a dolphin tour. There are many restaurant options, but I only had an opportunity to eat at 2 of them. The Oak And Stone rooftop restaurant gave us an amazing view of the river, and great food. Bricks on 12th St. West had a great menu, and I had a fantastic salad topped with perfectly cooked blacked grouper. I stayed at the Hampton Inn which included a variety of breakfast options each day.

I was hoping the hotel cost would be less since I was visiting during off season, but I was not disappointed in the lodging, the staff, or the location. It was a beautiful, historic hotel, which has been modernized, but still retains much of it's old charm.

Do not go there it’s a motel 6 , only a nice lobby nothing else do not waste your money !

Breakfast was nothing special all frozen things warmed up. Regular holiday in breakfast:( they wrote on the bananas with pens (ink contains led you idiots) so disappointed!

I paid $700 dollars for two night , the gave my room to someone else, the rooms are like a motel 6 . Remote did not work , no fridge in the room they had a worker bring me a fridge omg

I arrive to the hotel, they give me a key to into the room with NON-CONFORTABLE Sofa (you can feel the support metal bars underneath the thin mattress) also with a cockroaches in the bathroom… and the end when I’m doing the checkout I realize they exchange the room giving me other different without telling me nothing and charging extra $19,96 then the staff wasn’t helpful and just said he can’t help call back in a couple days to talk with someone else

Room was large and well decorated. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was hot and good each day.

Just okay compared to the price.

Location to spring training sites was nice. Parking was ample and free. Breakfast was acceptable for free.

Shower pressure and nozzle need some work. Pressure intermittent. The pool was dirty. Floating bugs and hair. For a florida location, I expect more attention to one of the main features.

Stayed 5 days and it meet far beyond . It made my Christmas very festive.

We stayed there at Christmas. Lobby was decorated beautifully like a Christmas Hallmark Movie. The staff was awesome and kind. Breakfast was delicious. chocolate chip waffles with whip cream and fresh strawberries also to put on the waffles with whip cream. Was eggs and other things also to choose from. We didn’t get the sweep our room was clean.The day we left we went to the River Walk near by. Will definitely stay there again.

I was satisfied with everything there and have no complaints.
