It was ok....

It was walking distance to battery point lighthouse

I couldn't get any extra towels. I asked, and they said they needed me to bring them my dirty ones first. There were no "do not disturb" signs, but housekeeping did not come (we stayed 2 days). The wifi was weak. My room had a few bugs in it. The restaurant did not have many good options for eating and was crazy expensive. I could NOT see the ocean from my room. It faced the ocean.

Where to start, there were roaches in my room, the walls and floors in the halls were dirty, the spa and sauna were not working, there was nobody downstairs at the front desk after 10pm incase a guest needed something, the tv in my suite with a balcony was small so we couldn’t enjoy it from the couch and the beds at the same time, the room was far from clean, the balcony was gross with bird poop, all the windows to look at the view I paid 300 a night for were dirty it was a motel 6 cleaning with a Hilton price tag. Never again will I stay there unless major cleaning is done. Oh ya the parking lot and all around the hotel had waste high overgrown grass . Just a bad bad experience to the end of my vacation.

Over priced for the accommodation.

Location was great. Close proximity to beach.

Place was filthy. No soap in bathrooms. Room stunk. Ants in room.

Overall we really enjoyed our stay

The location was perfect, all of the employees we came in contact with were very friendly

It had a lot of run down areas. Beds were very uncomfortable. We were in a room that said no smoking and the room that was attached to ours , they were smoking heavily.

There are much better options.

Location was ok

Front Staff were rude. We had internet issues all day and night. When we asked the front day staff for assistance, the young gal hung up on on us mid sentence. Toilet ran continuously and the room needed some TLC. I ordered coffee in the restaurant, that took an hour to get, and it was only open until 10:00

Ruined our day

We paid over $500 for a view

Everything!! It’s a dump we paid for 2 rooms over a year ago. 308 AC doesn’t work. Spent so much ch time trying to get it fixed but the manager Nicky couldn’t be bothered to come in. Ended up moving to another room. My advice go somewhere else. All you are paying for it s a view. Our other room we paid for oceanfront and it’s a joke. Don’t pay for oceanfront.

All was very good great chower

Unfortunantle I had eaten some bad food and was sick in the lobby. Instead of doing any thing they stood watching. I had to ask if I can at least get something to wipe off my face. An ice bucket would have been nice.

The room was nasty, very dirty. We thought they had put us in the wrong room- one that had not been cleaned yet. The filth really starts at the elevator.

The view is more than spectacular, the staff was excellent. We have Grandchildren in Crescent City, and this was our first time staying at Oceanfront Lodge... but it WON'T be the last. We LOVED it.

the view was breathtaking.

when we arrived at the hotel our floor in our room was dirty like it had not been swept. the room smelled like mildew. our lamp did not work and the phone did not work. I had asked twice for house keeping to come and change our towels out. I finally had to walk down stairs and ask the front desk staff. the girl was so nice and helpful, she said I am sorry about that can I go up and collect the dirty towels and give you fresh ones. the pool was freezing, the hot tub was over flowing and had mildew in the corner. the gym smelled so bad of mold and mildew. the food was not worth the money. waffles had batter still coming out and steak was rare when asked to have medium rare. the hotel definitely needs an up hall all over. the front desk staff is amazing and so nice and helpful. for the $526 for the two day. I wish the room would have cleaned better.

Beach was lovely

Location on the beach and close to town, highway, excursions was excellent.

Seems like hotel has seen better days. A little run down. Next to vacant lot and closed building. Nothing was so bad just seemed a little neglected.

The beds were too hard, our room was right beneath a pool table that was in the lobby and the staff did not prevent people from playing pool after 10pm and they played all theough the night.

Exceptional

The property is awesome. The views are amazing, and even on the side of the building, waking up with the waves crashing just a few yards away was amazing. My waitress/bartender was super friendly and helpful as well.

Absolutely disappointed!

Bed was comfortable.

- At the time of check in, nobody was at reception because the staff was busy at the restaurant. - few spiders in the room and one of the queen bed had sheets not properly clean. - hair dryer was melted (and not working). Tried to call reception but the staff was still busy at the restaurant. We had to go find someone to ask for assistance. There was only a young girl available (very kind and overwhelmed, running in and out from the restaurant) who brought a new wall hair dryer, but she did not know how to properly plug it. - Breakfast (not included) was supposed to be from 7am to 10am. At 7 am and until 7.40am (when we left with no breakfast) no staff was there.

The location is nice, in front of the beach and close to services.

The hotel is very old and need maintenaince. The staff is very friendly but there very few employees. I had to ask for support with the washing machine and had to wait around 10 min to find someone.

This hotel has a potential to deliver so much more!!

Loved the location, a little worn. Bed was comfy!

The receptionist, told me an oceanfront room had no ocean view…. when we got to the room it was oceanfront with an ocean view, so very confusing and caused me stress and a 30 min hassle at checkin. Also departure morning the receptionist was eating breakfast. Eating meals should be in private and not in full view at reception.

A sad hotel on the beach….

We could not see out windows, did a spa upgrade…sad. Rooms need pictures, color… wanted breakfast …staff never showed up…any day….Lame. Lobby needs help. Looks like no one cares. Over all this hotel is sad.

Overpriced

The location and mattress was comfortable.

When we first arrived, the room we were staying in smelled like dead fish. They did switch our rooms when we asked. We paid extra for a room with a jacuzzi tub, that was full of dog hair and unusable.

The restaurant hours. I wish breakfast was served a little longer especially for a weekend. we missed dinner and breakfast due to the hours pushy staff they knocked on our door 3 times starting 30+ minutes prior to checkout times upon leaving the staff member was waiting outside our door and rolled his eyes instead of a Happy New Year, enjoy your day or a good morning. not welcoming - No taxi numbers available at the front desk
