Very pleasant weekend stay

Very clean room and bathroom. Everything was in good condition inside the room. The pool and hot tub were very nice. The location is close to downtown

Great location, guest rooms gross!

The location was excellent and front desk staff amazing!

The rooms were not very clean. Bathroom had no ventilation (fan), mold and toilet didn’t work to flush unless you held it and the air conditioning/furnace filter has the thickest layer of dust I have ever seen!

Pleasant

Breakfast was more than what was expected, good food. there was not enough seating for breakfast for all the guest. we ate around 8:15 am. Room was acceptable & comfortable

We were surprised there was no elevator, we are young elders (70's) the steps are quite steep, if we had known there was no elevator, we would of asked for the 1st floor or made a reservation elsewhere, this might be a good thing to ask when booking.

location is amazing and staff is receptive and supportive.

it is a little run down. get’s lots of tread so hallways don’t appear super clean and rooms could use some updates. No usb and not enough working plugs for charging. stayed a couple times and rooms were different one much cleaner and brighter. it is super pricey for what it is - but that’s supply and demand in the summer!

Love Americinn!

We always love staying at Americinn. We walk in the lobby and feel at home. There's a warm welcome, great room, and awesome breakfast every time!

It was a little bigger than most and the walk back and forth to the lobby was a ways but it was good for us. It also would be nice to have an elevator but we made due with our luggage and will pack lighter next trip!

Breakfast was ok! At least we had something decent for our 400.00+ stay! We will definitely book at a different location next time!

-no pool, uncomfortable beds, bedding was disgusting, staff were rude and appearance was sketchy

Great place to stay.

Alana wolf was super helpful, we really enjoyed talking with her. Barb was also very helpful. Everything we asked or requested was addressed. Definitely will stay there again, just for the warm cookies alone! Lol.

Small workout room that was really cold and it Didnt have an eliptical.

The hotel is dirty I had to pay to get a vacuum from front desk then pick up piles of towels and garbage Your picnic area is toilet for construction workers Cigarette buttes trash and charcoal ash had to be cleaned by guests. Staff never touched it

The stay was very good. The desk staff was excellent and took care of all of our needs promptly. The breakfast in the lobby is very nice, good coffee! We have stayed at the American Inn many times and will continue to stay here when we are in Minocqua. We were up for the busy July 4th weekend and the staff was excellent in taking care of the many guests at the hotel. We need a first floor room and the desk was sure we got one. We needed to extend our stay and that was not a problem either.

Bathrooms are somewhat small.

Great accommodations, great location, great staff, pet friendly

The woman who checked us in around 10pm on May 28th was fantastic. We originally hadn't planned to be traveling with a puppy, but when we got there she ensured we were right by the door on the first floor so we could easily take her out at night. She was super friendly, helpful, got our trailer parking figured out (easy - they have a great big lot perfect for parking boats and trailers) and was very accommodating. They have a nice big lawn with fire pits and picnic tables and the rooms were great. Location can't be beat! Thanks guya

My stay was pleasant but very much overpriced

room was clean

I had to listen to hours of the whirlpool bath in the room next-door. Very poor insulation and it was very loud. Booking.com also states that everybody should wear a mask in the building. Not a single staff member was wearing a mask. I can understand if you don’t want your staff to police guests about masks, but at least the staff should be wearing them

When traveling to Minocqua area Americinn has become our go to hotel.

We can always count on Americinn to have a comfy clean night stay. And a delicious variety of food and beverages to enjoy in the morning. Staff are always friendly and upbeat.

The bedroom did have a strong air freshener sent that irritated my sinuses a bit. Possible smoker the night before?
