We were provided with a 1500+ square foot building to stay in with high-end amenities. This place was AWESOME! The hosts were very friendly, and the breakfast experience/venue was tremendous. Words cannot describe how wonderful this lodge and the hosts were.

The road to the location is not paved, and if you don't have a 4WD in the winter (we did) it could be rough getting there with heavy snowfall. Not really a negative - it's the Colorado Rockies!

Absolutely beautiful facility, great attention to detail. friendly staff, and very accommodating. Rooms are very comfortable with beautiful bathrooms! Amazing wraparound deck where you can have your coffee and breakfast in the morning.

Your property was a little difficult to locate after dark, the Wi-Fi wasn’t reliable

Bedroom was a decent size (annex cabin) but one of the window shades was broken and couldn't be raised to let in some air. Important since there is no air conditioning. Bed was poor, too soft. Bathroom was tiny, extremely poor lighting. Had to go sit on the bed and use the light from the lamp to do makeup. The breakfast was very disappointing. The cook made eggs for the 8:00 arrivals and it was still sitting there at nine when we arrived and made our own breakfast burritos. Bakery goods were from the grocery store. The owner greeted us upon our arrival and took us to the annex. The side porch was filthy with two piles of animal droppings as we entered through the mud room which was also dirty. The kitchen, dining and living room were very nice but the electric pot for heating water for tea didn't work. After that we didn't see the owner except when she brought guests to their room. No attempt at conversation with us. Overall, a very disappointing experience.

Beautiful location, very quiet & immersed in nature, excellent for sleeping. The hosts were quite casual & welcoming. Lots of friendly free range dogs. Coffee available when we arrived. A lovely large porch for relaxing. No air conditioning, but when we asked, the host gave us a handle to open the windows for the night air. The next morning there were two pet horses in the front yard trimming the grass. Breakfast was ample but a lot of it was prepackaged, no homemade waffles or artisan jams or that sort of B&B thing.

Our room was not completely fresh. The fridge had leftovers from the previous occupants, the bathmats seemed to be not recently washed, and the towels & bed linens were old. Some of the screens were bent & a mosquito got in in the night. The low price was good but we would have paid more for better amenities. Two stars.

Beautiful lodge near Pagosa Springs. Everything in the lodge was well thought out and high quality. There is a gravel road leading up to the lodge. Gravel roads are common in lots of neighborhoods near Pagosa Springs. We will stay here again.

The cabins are big and nice. The location is beautiful.

The bed was incredibly hard. I awoke in the night to find a cat on my bed meowing at me. I am allergic to cats. I couldn’t keep him out of my room because there was no door on the room. The cat kept me awake most of the night. When I talked to the owners about it, they basically let me know that I or the other renter must have let the cat in. But the last person in/out was the owner. I was not even notified there was a cat. They did not offer me any compensation. You might want to be aware that the cabin has lots of huge windows which are beautiful during the day. But any shades are light filtering so the room gets pretty bright early in the morning. This may not be a good place to stay if you are getting up early.
