Thank you - we appreciated the comfortable room and beautiful ourdoor courtyard.

It was simply perfect. The bed was comfortable , the room was clean and had everything needed and the newly remodeled bathroom was well thought out. Most of all the owner was friendly and knowledgeable about the area.

Prices for places to stay in Duluth on a summer weekend are crazy - but they have to be able to afford to stay in business.

I sure enjoyed my stay. It’s an older property as in history not condition.

Very clean and super nice staff o like that it’s away from all the hustle and bustle of town. Fast commute to canal park and all the sights.

No bad comments.

The bed was comfortable, the sitting area was OK

I need to question if the shower was actually cleaned, there was open bottles of shampoo in the shower, the shower walls had peeling paint, access to the room was slightly slippery, When you walk into the room and had tile floor in the entryway to the snow on, our shoes is very slippery we walked in. Had to ask for extra towels to use as a mat for inside the door.

Cleanliness of room and friendliness of staff. Size of room was great. Loved having a deck w/grill.

A couple things needed fixing. leaky sink in kitchenette. And knobs are needed on the cupboards in kitchenette, hard to open without.

Bed was comfy

Loud people above us. The A/C unit from the room above us was right over our door and dripped water all over us going in and out the door. Also we were sad to find out they no longer do breakfast in the morning.

Cozy room. Back deck. Drive up to door.. good air conditioner

Small bathroom. No breakfast as advertised. Didn't see or was offered the advertised pool. No replenished coffee in the room. No area map. All blamed onCovid.

Passable

Staff were friendly, zoo passes and free use of bicycles, near lakeshore walking paths close to nature. Cute, woodsy decor.

Strong room deodorizer smell, so we had to open windows and door everyday to get rid of it. Bed was too soft for us. Something in the room, possibly pet hair or fabric softener on the sheets flared up allergies for one if us. No table or chairs...just a desk and one chair.

Loved the location, cleanliness and friendliness of the staff. Would definitely stay here again!

A little disappointed that there was not anything offered for breakfast when it was listed that it was. Some single serving yogurt or some simple packaged bakery items might have been nice. Understand, though, given COVID still around.

Would stay here again

Nice place, a bit small. For an overnight stay, maybe two days, It would be great, wouldn't make it an extended stay. Towels, bed and pillows were the best I have seen, better than most big name hotels. Free bikes for riding on the Willard Munger Trail, would recommend doing that. Would stay here again.

The shower was one speed high pressure the ceiling fan was very dusty didn't want to turn it on. The back door had a gap and the comforter had holes on the top.

very much an old time motel updated with cabin touch.

location was okay. Bed comfortable but shower is very small. Great towels. They were willing to give tickets to the local zoo and had bikes available to use which was nice but we were heading out. Owner recommended good breakfast place.

Unsanitary, unclean, wasn’t the room we were supposed to have, old man was crabby at the front desk, way overpriced, you couldn’t pay me to stay again.

Okay but wouldn’t go back.

The room was small and dated, but clean. Allowed for a one night stay and was dog friendly.

Booking said breakfast at the property would be available but no such thing. No firm pet fee, was quoted “$10 or $20” but then added on an extra $25. The mattress was indented and uncomfortable.
