This is my favorite place to say on Ana Maria Island was just disappointed with some of the things That we’re not up to

This is our go to place on AMI. We went to celebrate my mom’s 80th birthday and her first time staying at this establishment. We had my favorite room The Lady and was pleased with most of our stay. I was just a bit embarrassed by the things in the room that should’ve been fixed since I am always raving about this hidden gem.

The shower wasn’t working but property management tried to fix it with a screwdriver was told that they are trying to get a plumber to fix it. The stuffing was coming out of one of my pillows on the bed in which if you were making the bed you would’ve seen the pillow belongs in the trash. The crawlspace in the ceiling Had a white cloth or tissue hanging from the ceiling along with hand prints all over the door, extremely dirty. lightbulbs burnt out and no battery in smoke detector. Other then that we LOVED our stay and our room. some of these are small things that can easily be overlooked but others should’ve been noticed. p.s they did offer to let us get a shower in another room so we could go out for my mother’s 80th birthday celebration.

Second stay here

This was our second stay here loved our first visit this time not as much. Unfortunately there was a huge group that booked 4 rooms taking over the pool area. They were extremely loud and drunk throughout the day and late into the night. We also had to provide trash bags for the cans in our room not to mention toilet paper as there was less then half a roll in the bathroom when we arrived. Didn’t love having to go to circle K late at night for these items and paying top dollar. Other then that we enjoyed my husband birthday getaway in AMI.

Perfect birthday get away

We love the charm and the comfort of the Villa. It was very close to the beach. The rooms were extremely clean and comfortable. The property has extra beach chairs and umbrellas that you may borrow. It was a fabulous birthday getaway. We would definitely be coming back.

The room was bigger than I expected. The outside area was very nice, we used the grill and the pool. Our son and grandson visited us every day.

Very spacious room, beautiful quick walk to the beach, nice pool area, lots of extras provided inside the rooms for laundry etc but no coffee.

My husband stated he heard mice all night in the walls and couldn’t sleep because it sounded like they were right above him. The doors all connect in the back yards so it left me feeling a little uneasy that someone could walk over and come through. Lots of locks around the doors though. Wish checkin was earlier and checkout was later. Barely got to enjoy the place for 1 night.

Cute little place

The location is perfect. Around the corner (walking distance to The Doctors Office) to the restaurants and beach. The beach is gorgeous. Nice like beachside restaurant next time I'd like to try out-tables are right in the sand. Room had a nice fridge and was clean. Random kitchen ware. Enough to do a long weekend. Toaster oven would be a nice addition.

The caretaker had an extremely flat affect, could be taken as quite rude. The pool area is quaint but needs some fixes. Bed was meh... king size is a plus but not that comfortable.

The check in is too late 4pm and make you leave at 10am. Mrs. Susan was the name, she entered a little before 10 o'clock without knocking on the door, taking us out of the room, beside they were charging us a different price than the one that appeared on the web. The bathroom was dirty full of mold, and the beds were not comfortable. The housekepping staff is very rude.

Our girls trip was perfect! We stayed in “The Grande” we were 100% satisfied with everything in our Villa.

Not what we imagined that our hefty daily fee might entitle us to.

There was no breakfast. The bathroom, in general, was very clean and quite commodious. The shower was especially welcome. However, no Kleenex tissue was available. The Wifi was excellent and the large liquid screen TV was more than sufficient.

The room was about the size of three-walk in closets and at the highest nightly price that I have ever paid. There was no disposal and no dishwasher and the "stove" was a two-burner electric plate resting on the refrigerator. The counter space was so limited that it was questionable as to where to stack two or three glasses, much less anything else. The mattress was so soft that one sank into it. About 15 feet away was a construction site for a three-story home; fortunately no work occurred during our 5-day stay which was very quiet as there seemed to be few guests during the week of our stay. The small closet was mostly filled with cleaning equipment and most of our luggage and clothes were spread across the two-available chairs and the small dining table. But with three doors into this small area (one door connected to the adjoining unit) our unit had the character of a benchless waiting room. One was requested to remove their own refuse/trash as there was no service to the room during our five-day stay. Our room was the farthest indention in the photo heading this piece.

The area is beautiful and house location is great.

Quaint, quiet, close to the beach

Rust inside fridge, would have loved a digital lock option so more than 1 person could get in, as well as a list of towns rules (re: bike use, golf cart use, crossing streets etc) as local cops give LOTS of tix. I also followed directions about clean towel request, but didn’t have any bath towels for a few days.
