Serious deficiencies

Friendliness of the staff. The efforts and friendliness of Victor and Charli should be highlighted.

Beds far too deep, blanket with hole, second choice bedding, mattress sagging. Nothing for people with back problems. Poor housekeeping: problems with curtains and lamps had been repaired only on our request , Turndown service is missing, wifi unstable, wifi crashes with any movement in the hotel. Hotel needs to be completely renovated and redesigned ( inside and outside). Also grossly overpriced. Breakfast included is limited to USD 60 per double room, the rest must be paid by the guest. 1 croissant 8 usd + charges and service taxes. Price-performance is absolutely not right. The friendliness of the staff cannot compensate these serious deficiencies.

Beautiful and quiet location, great hotel.

Very comfortable rooms, friendly and helpful staff, very clean. Food was good and loved the fresh coffee every morning!

Cocktails are not the best and pretty expensive but that applies to Miami overall rather than the hotel itself.

Fantastic Miami Beach EDITION

Fantastic Edition Hotel which was remodelled on the grounds of the great Seville hotel, opened in 1955. Great Location. Amazing pool and beach .you can access the beach from the hotel. There is an amazing walk way . The Market restaurant has great atmosphere and delicious food. Had a truly fantastic time .

Not many things to do with kids. I felt like hotel is more for adults than families. Hotel territory is not big. Sometimes there’s no one by the pool to help you with towels.

Our stay was just normal, nothing spectacular. Not the level of a five-star hotel.

A new, modern hotel. The rooms are large.

The most important thing that upset me was the dirty pool. We stayed at the hotel for a week and the pool was always dirty. The second is the staff. The hotel's restaurants and the pool have unfriendly and unsmiling staff.

Very nice hotel, but not brilliant

We like our arrival, the bar and live music performance. The breakfast was good.

The Dinner options are limited and hardly any vegetarian options, staff arrogant. The pool was very busy and at no time we did not smell weed.

Gepflegtes Hotel in Midbeach mit grosszügigen Garten, mehreren Pools und schönem Strandabschnitt

Sehr schöne Eingangshalle, grosszügiger Gartenbereich mit diversen Sitz- und Liegemöglichkeiten mit aufmerksamem Personal, direkter und sehr gepflegter Strandzugang mit eigenen Liegen und Schirmen.

Bei der Ankunft bekamen wir nicht den gebuchten Meerblick, sondern nur Stadtblick mit seitlichen Meerblick mit dem Hinweis, dass wir lediglich OCEAN VIEW gebucht hätten. Die Abschlussrechnung hatte fehlerhafte Positionen und musste zweimal korrigiert werden wegen nachträglicher Anhebung der Resort Fee und falscher Minibar Belastung. Beides wurde nach Rückfrage korrigiert. Dies hat bei der Anreise und der Abreise viel Zeit gekostet und unnötigen Aerger verursacht.

The cost of the hotel is way above the service they provide.

Location, beach front

Poor room service, and pool service. Have to wait a lot to get a pool towel or to order a drink. Extra credit card charges by mistake after my check out. Pool closes too early, and one afternoon they closed the pool at 5pm for a private business party which the music was extreme loud until 5am (yes, am). The lobby smells fried bacon specially in the morning, because the Market breakfast has an open kitchen. One morning, there was a couple at the pool that was not staying in the hotel, but ordering food and using all private areas; the staff mentioned they could not stay and use the pool, but they did not leave and the staff didn’t do anything… no consideration for those staying and paying for the hotel. The cost of the hotel is way above the service they provide.

Stunning hotel, incredible location, awesome pool and beach.

The room was SO spacious, the bath was enormous, the toiletries smelt beautiful, the hotel smelt even more beautiful. The breakfast we ate in the hotel restaurant was delicious and the staff inside the hotel at reception were really friendly.

Cuando compre mi estadía pensé que tenía balcón abierto como me mostraba la foto, pero no había ningún balcón y no había ventana solo vidrio cerrado. Eso no coincidía con la foto que me mostraba booking. El primer día tuve que llamar dos veces para que me limpien la habitación.

Manca totalmente il servizio. All’ingresso con le valigie non c’era nessuno ad aiutarmi. In camera i prodotti da bagno non venivano reintegrati se non quando chiamavo per farli portare. L’acqua veniva messa in camera un giorno sì e uno no. Ho consumato 2 cose nel mobile bar che non sono mai state reintegrate in 11 notti. Per 11 giorni il terrazzo, lurido, non è mai stato pulito. Non hanno nemmeno mai sostituito la copertura dei divani in terrazza che erano veramente in condizioni penose. Ho più volte chiamato la reception per lamentarmi, mi hanno assicurato che avrebbero fatto tutto ma così non è stato. Ho anche fatto delle foto del terrazzo perché dei miei amici non credevano al fatto che in un “Edition” il servizio potesse essere così scadente. È un peccato perché la struttura è bella.

Foyer was well designed.

Worst customer service I've ever experienced. Said parking was free then charged. Said they'd add room points but didn't and then took over two weeks to reply to any phone calls or emails, and eventually said they couldn't add room points because of how it was booked, even though I booked in exactly the way I was told by the reception. Honestly borders on theft and incompetence. Manager seemed nice, but it shouldn't take multiple calls and emails over several weeks to address basic issues. Marriot Bonvoy has major management and communication issues. Any small issue gets passed to a higher management who takes weeks to reply. A disaster of a stay. - Natalie B

Devoid of atmosphere and ambience. Expensive and poor value for money

Facilities described were not available to use i.e. rink, bowling, bar inside not open during the day only open from 6pm. No tea or coffee making facilities in the room, no vanity mirror to do makeup in room only in bathroom, requested one but not given one. Sea view but metal grids on the squares of the balcony spoil the view from the low level balcony sun chairs

Our stay was fabulous!

The room and the amenities were fabulous. We also loved the staff and the food. We are looking forward to coming back.

Some of the servers were better than others, but overall it was an excellent experience.
