A lovely place to stay in downtown Pasadena.

Lovely place, the lobby is welcoming and very pretty, decent bar in lobby. Great location near old downtown.

Exceptional stay

The property was beautiful clean. The staff were very professional and attended to every need for my stay for a conference. The room was exceptional. I stayed in a corner suite with a soaking tub, which I used almost every night to relax after a long day of meetings

Not worth the money but if you’re into old hotels, it’s cute.

The property was nice looking and the vibe was there. Centrally located ! And the pool was nice and had a great view

I felt the rooms were super outdated and there is no room service ! I payed over 250 for one night and there’s no complimentary breakfast. No tub. Barely any tv channels. Also when I did go to the pool, the staff never once asked if I wanted a drink in 2 hours. And there was no where I could go up to order. The staff had to come to you, so that sucked

Хороший отель в центре города. Симпатичный дизайн, в стиле ретро. Номер большой, современный, уютный и идеально чистый. Есть большой телевизор, на стене висит картина.Прогулялись до музея Нортона Саймона 35 мин пешком. Рядом с отелем много ресторанов и магазинов.

Не понравилась, что парковка платная и отсутствие чайника в номере.Но на первом этаже есть бар.Утром можно попить кофе .

Super convenient to the wedding venue we were attending.

The room was unique but very small compared to most hotels we’ve stayed in.

The room size and no coffee maker in the room. The bathroom was very unique and not the least bit private.

Disappointing

Location is great but I cannot say that this was value for money - far better on offer further into LA. Beds are good, linen was clean Housekeeping only done on request

No tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms Starbucks coffee from the bar is expensive and tastes terrible No trolley to take luggage from car to reception and again from reception to rooms - especially important for seniors

Excellent stay! Will return in the future!

Excellent location to the heart of Pasadena. Pool ambience was great and water temperature was perfect. Room was clean and tastefully decorated. Beautiful lobby with plenty of games to preoccupy time and company. Easy in and out parking lot. Felt secure and safe.

No other streaming options on TV. Hot tub would be a nice addition to pool deck.

L'emplacement sur Colorado Boulevard est parfait. La chambre est très bien équipée.

La chambre n'est pas nettoyée tous les jours, uniquement sur demande. Le personnel n'est pas à la hauteur de la qualité avancée par l'établissement. Imprimer une facture aura relevé de l'exploit et aura induit 1000 soupirs de l'employé. Les employés ne sont pas du standing avancé par l'hôtel.

"Meh" stay

The lobby, outside area and pool are all quaint and cute, dog friendly and the shower has great water pressure!

Rooms are very small, Direct TV only, so no movie choices, have to ask for microwave/blow dryer in room, no coffe in room either and bath towels feel like sandpaper. There is a smell of Marijuana in lobby, so not sure if this is because there happens to be a dispensary right next door. I was also disappointed that the market lights in the outdoor sitting area never came on. There are no tables in the room, so if you want to just hang out or eat this outside sitting area could have been more enjoyable without kids running around and market lights on.

A clean, lovely well-priced hotel with unique, historic touches.

Easy to check in, lovely facilities. I liked the overall feel of the hotel, being classic and historic but updated where it counts. Other reviews mentioned the rooms being too small or strange with the frosted glass from the shower being visible in the bedroom, but as a solo traveler it was cozy, clean, well appointed and great for my stay. The pool deck is also incredible!

Some things I expected in any hotel weren't there, as other reviews have mentioned: no coffee in room, breakfast wasn't free, and parking on-site was pricey.

Room quite large and housekeeping pretty good. Very silent, no noise from the other rooms or the street. Good pool, even if a bit crowded. Very nice the hall with several entertainments. really appreciated the garden.

the bathroom had no separation and privacy with the room; sink, shower and toilet were not separated by the rest of the room, not suitable as double room (and uncomfortable even as single room). Staff is uncaring, no help or information was provided on the rules/laws to park the car in the street (29$ were requested to benefit from the hotel self-parking), some room charges have been applied but no information on those was provided at the check out, we are still waiting any email reply from the hotel manager.

Nice hotel, beautiful lounge.

Breakfast missing. They do provide some things, but not a proper breakfast. Many places to eat close by, but not open early in the morning. I had to add another day, but that would have been twice as expensive.

Avoid Mondays!

Beautiful pool and room - bed was very comfortable

No drink facilities in the room even tho it advertised that there was??!! You should provide water in the rooms at the very least! breakfast should be included for the prices you charge! Parking was ridiculous money on top 29 dollars ! Bought 1 small beer from the bar 9 dollars shocking and don’t stay here on a Monday ! All the local restaurants were closed! Had to get a subway :(

Location, appearance.

Room too small for comfort. No breakfast bar. No coffee maker or iron in room. Only cable TV. Coffee is almost $5 per cup. Hardly a heated pool. No one to serve drinks at the pool-bar. On site parking $29 per day. Absolutely insane. Not at all as advertised on Booking.com. Management has traded utility for glitz.

A lovely hotel with a lot of potential but maybe needs a little work on upkeep of facilities.

The lobby is beautiful, it's super close to the Rose Bowl, and the staff are very friendly. It's nice that there is parking underneath the hotel ($29/night), and beautiful bar/cafe area available.

Rooms aren't super clean and certain features like air conditioning/fan or vent in bathroom didn't work. Also, I think because we booked our room on Booking.com, they gave us a room on the noisiest floor - right next to the swimming pool.

A perfect situation for the charm of Pasadena

Love the historic nature of the hotel and the modern updates. Pool area was beautifully situated and parking is needed for that area for sure.

No coffee set up in the room. They make you go to the lobby and purchase it and when I got the yogurt parfait it was almost 10 dollars for four scoops of yogurt with fresh fruit and some granola.
