UNCOMFORTABLE!

Hello dear administrators of the Anchor Hotel. unfortunately we did not have a pleasant experience in the four nights we spent at the Anchor. In January I made a reservation for four nights. And for this stay, an amount of 1,565.75 was deducted on Jun 17 from our credit card. With that everything is right, it was the agreement. But we think that the Hotel administration had a bad attitude and at the very least a great lack of common sense. Putting a couple who made a reservation six months in advance, paying a relevant amount, in a small, uncomfortable room with a bed that was inadequately sized for a couple and worse, a room without closets, to put clothes for a four-night stay. At a table in that room there was only one chair, as we are a couple, I went to ask the reception to please put another chair, to my surprise the receptionists told me that only one chair was allowed for that room! Here's a suggestion, in the future treat your guests better, especially with more respect and attention to their needs, because, for us, you really left a lot to be desired. As I have consistency in my words, I cannot fail to congratulate you on the hygiene and cleanliness issues, in this matter, you do a good job. We found a lady from the cleaning service, excellent professional and very polite, Mrs. Zenir, a person who honors the work she does at this hotel.

The bed was super comfortable! The desk attendant was very nice and the housekeeper who cleaned my room the next day, returned my AirPods that I left on the bed. That’s a 10!

Died and gone to heaven....most beautiful rooms.

This Inn was out of this world. We were upgraded and had the most amazing view of the harbour. The hotel staff were so helpful and there were so many different places to sit and relax. I would definatly return and urge others to visit.

The close location to shops and restaurants is great. Pretty hotel, friendly and helpful staff. And I loved the view of the marina from the balcony in our room.

Staff was pleasant, coffee and cookies a nice touch.

Very disappointed with our small room - surprised to find only a full sized bed. For the price, very unsatisfactory.

This was our Dream vacation that we were on

This is clean safe location our stay was wonderful.

That we couldn’t stay longer due to have to go back to reality, was a sort and pleasant trip.

short and sweet stay at anchor in

it is clean and quiet, coffee is available and it tastes awesome with some simple fare available such as yogurt and fruits, cereal, bread

a bit dated and the ceilings are low, not knowing the area before ferry ride is a bit of a walk around the docks and had to speed up before boat leaves

The location was beautiful. the staff went above and beyond for the guests.

The hallways smelled a bit musty, which happens with with hotels on the water. I would suggest removing the carpets in the hallways.

Not worth the money! Very Disappointing!

Room had 2 beds but space for only one nightstand between. Furniture was old, tired. Room advertised harbourview , but this was only from balcony! Other rooms on the same floor were the same but our rate was way over $500 night, & comparable rooms were almost $ 200.per night Less.

An excellent hotel with great staff and a wonderful location.

The hotel location and staff were excellent. The room was good and very clean. Breakfast was excellent value for money. We would certainly stay at the Anchor Inn again.

Great location. Ample parking. No issues checking in. Enjoyed the cookies and lemonade.

Wasn't aware of the daily resort free.
