Could have been better.

Bed was comfortable. Linens were clean. TV and programming was fine. Shower/bathroom was adequate with exceptions.

AC/fan unit worked fine but room temp was difficult to get just right. 74-76 degrees was difficult for unit to maintain. Was either chilly or stuffy. Furniture was dated and worn. Chair fabric seat was stained. Carpet was stained and needs replaced. Fridge temp control knob missing but did work. Only two very narrow and short shelves in shower to place soap and any other items. Tub should be replaced with walk-in shower. Tubs are a thing of the past for a hotel. Only gave one 1" x 1.5" bar of soap - really? Website info says "Hot b/f", part of the reason I chose this property. Went to cafe 30 mins before end time. Only thing hot was a small amount of sausage gravy and had to scrape the pot to get that. Everything else was continental items. OJ had a sign on it apologizing that it was not available. Asked the attendant about any eggs or bacon and she said "Oh no, we're complimentary. We're not allowed to have any of that." I was an exec in the hotel biz for 15 years and while I admit it was a lifetime ago I expected more from a Microtel. They had 6 awards displayed across the check-in desk. Next time (and I'm originally from the area) I'll stay at an economy hotel and go to McD's.

Extremely disappointed from the moment we walked into the room.

Our first room had bugs on the window seat, floor and bed. Hotel had no hot water and we were not informed this at check in.

Good overnight stop with a cat

The front desk staff was so friendly and welcoming. I’m moving across country and needed a place to stay with my cat. The pet fee is minimal and the layout of the room was perfect for him to find a good spot to be. The beds are comfortable. It’s easy on and off the highway, perfect for a road trip overnight stop.

The lighting in the room was awful. There is no soft lighting so I wouldn’t want to stay for anymore than a quick overnight.

I would stay there again, mainly because it was reasonably clean and the mattress was very comfortable.

Price was reasonable. Bed was VERY comfortable. I slept well! Staff friendly and accommodating.

Entrance to the property could be better marked. I could see the hotel, but passed the entrance as it looked like a utility road to the back of the property. Breakfast was good, but fresh fruit wasn’t readily available. We ate at 7:30 am and no fruit. About 15 later, a staff member put out 2 bananas. (That looks like you are being stingy.)

Location and price.

No snacks available. The vending machine in the lobby was totally empty, I guess not really in use. The laundry facility had both washer and dryer out of service.

This is our go to motel in OH

Price is right and they keep the inside tidy.Since our last visit they have let the outside go a bit,Location is great.close to 70 but still quiet

It was worth the money spent and the location is great!

The location is perfect!! Center to shopping and restaurants.

There was hair that was not mine or my daughters EVERYWHERE including the bed.

Stay was ok, room switched to a double & a pull out, not the 2 queen I booked.

Location was great, breakfast was very average! I’m in food industry, and you should not run out of food. Poor planning on food service mmgt.

Average hotel experience. Clean, safe, and affordable, but don't expect much more.

The location was great - just off the freeway. Free parking! The bed linen and towels were clean, the bathroom was also very clean, checkin and checkout were smooth, the receptionist was friendly and efficient, the breakfast was standard (i.e. nothing to write home about): bagels and cream cheese, hardboiled eggs, cereal, soymilk and regular milk, bags of oatmeal, tea, coffee orange juice. Average hotel fare. Overall it's an ok and affordable stay to break a long drive.

The room was very small, barely any place for suitcases. The brown walls and brown chipped furniture made it look even smaller and gloomier. The carpets looked old and stained; probably the furniture was from the 1980s, well maintained and clean, but not replaced since. The windows could not be opened and the room had a stuffy, moldy smell when we arrived. The room was clean but there was just a little bit of toilet paper and only a few paper tissues in the box. We ran out of both before the end of our one-night stay (with normal use!). The receptionist kindly gave us another roll of TP. The AC fan was quite loud during the night and without it on, we would have suffocated.

Exactly what was needed for an unexpected trip

Simple but good breakfast, ample parking as my husband had a trailer behind the pick up truck.

If the mattress had been more comfortable, I would’ve given this place a much better rating.

The room was very clean and the location was good. The breakfast was adequate, but we do wish that they had just a few more options. They did have soy milk which was a plus for us because we do not eat/drink dairy.

The bed was extremely uncomfortable. Our mattress had a strange hump in the middle of it and it was very worn out. It definitely needed to be changed.

Too small of a space, Breakfast had zero potatoes or meat, it was not a good breakfast At all. At least not what I’m used to. The location was ok if all you want to do is eat fast food. Nowhere to go and Nothing to do. We left earlier and booked at room in Cleveland plus my daughter was sick so we left next morning

Small but comfortable

Comfortable and clean. My 1st time staying in a Microtel property. I’m claustrophobic and didn’t realize the rooms were so small. I was very tired, so I got a good night’s sleep. Anyone who’s claustrophobic might be uncomfortable in one of these very small rooms.

The constant roar of motorcycles on the main road was not enjoyable. I realize the property has no responsibility for that, of course.
