I’ll pass this one up next time.

close to downtown , other than that, not much

busy road, very noisy all night long , smelled musty, towels were paper thin and sparse, Breakfast left a lot to be desired, not so much as a styrofoam cup for coffee as I was instructed to put my coffee in a clear plastic juice cup

Would go again

Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Room had a fridge and microwave. It was quiet

The first receptionist I met was rude. Took forever to come to the desk. Seemed annoyed I was there. Not welcoming at all

The bed was comfortable and the everything was clean.

The hotel is in desperate need of updating and general maintenance. There are many "quick fixes" in place rather than problems being fixed properly. Broken windows, uneven floors and a very strange layout, there's even stairs to nowhere.

Breakfast was supposed to be served at 6:30 on weekdays but nothing was available except coffee when we checked out at 9:00.

The people that work there or nice.

This was not a very clean, comfortable or updated property at all. Kind of a mess if you ask me.

Perfect for what we needed it for: a place to sleep between our travels.

The room was good for the price. The bed was comfy. The staff was friendly.

The bathroom was tiny. (I'm not a small person.) There were insects (alive and dead) around the mirror. Not enough noise insultation—our downstairs neighbors were outside talking with others and we could hear the entire conversation as if there was no wall. I turned on the TV and was afraid of disturbing everyone with the sound.

Our stay was safe, welcomed and enjoyable!

The breakfast was hearty and made fresh. There was a lovely lady who greeted all travelers with a smile every morning. Fresh eggs, sausage and coffee with no questions asked. Plenty of beverage choices.

There was a peculiar smell in our hall, but it’s probably just from the building being a bit older. The lake view with the docked ships was pretty neat!

Price, Location, hot tub was hot one night but not the first night.

Wi-Fi was horrible. needed to use hot spot with my phone. No in room coffee.

Watch the charges

Clean .but ,I was charged a 100.00 Deposit . after, I was already charged for the room 210.00 as the totally quote .when, I went to talk to the lady at the front desk about the charge she said they didn't taken it yet. but we agreed to a 100 dollar cleaning Deposit knowing .when ,you signed and pay for the room you are told if you smoke or ect in the room you get Charged 150 cleaning fees....So what was I charged for I didn't have a smoking room and there was no smoking so I better get my Money Back..

Best Experience, Highly Recommended

The check-in process went smoothly, and the staff was very friendly. Breakfast was hot, and when my husband and I went down, we were told more eggs were being made fresh for us and some of the other patrons that had arrived. Coffee was fantastic! The room was clean and neat, and the tv channel selection varied. It had snowed earlier before we arrived, but the parking lot was well maintained and easy to find parking. My husband and I definitely want to come back to Manistee and when we do, we'll be staying at the Manistee hotel.

Our friends stayed at another hotel down the street, and they had more complaints about their stay than we did. Which is easy to say because my husband and I have none!

The price was good. Room was clean on arrival.

Our room was not serviced at all during our stay so the trash was over full had to get clean towels from the pool area for our second and third days stay.
