Looks good on the outside, not so great where it counts.

Staff nice.

Bathroom sink would not drain, shower had no pressure, tv in bedroom did not work, bathroom floor flooded because of poor working shower head.

there are better places to stay in West Des Moines.

The location is great for West Moines

it’s just plain dirty. The couch in our room, obviously had been chewed on by a dog. The material on the couch was chewed off all the way down to the wood. The breakfast area had not been cleaned up from the night before. Plastic silverware broken on the floor, wrappers on the floor, the tables were sticky, as you go outside the trash is overflowing and there’s garbage throughout the front patio. When I sat down to work on my computer, I had to find my own rags from the bathroom so I could wipe the table off. As for the staff, I said good morning to two of them. No response. I even said to the person setting the breakfast out, “looks good”, and she did not respond at all. We will not be back.

I would stay there again , but would make different breakfast plans.

Good location, clean rooms, great staff. Very nice sitting area outside by the fire pit.

The breakfast was not great (really it was probably about the same as most hotels, but fake omelets sitting in a pan of water was not appealing). The property could use a fresh coat of paint in certain areas.

Location

Tub didn't drain in the bathroom at all....had little floaties in the water when it wouldn't drain. Dried, stuck on contact lens on the bathroom floor....which means the floor wasn't cleaned. Breakfast was less than average. Especially for a total price of 230 per night....AFTER our reservation was messed up.

the front desk person was amazing, just was pricey for what we got!

the hotel was located in the Jorden Creek area, made it easy to get some shopping done.

the doors were heavy which made it difficult to open, they slammed shut, which makes it easy for kids to get hurt. coffee pot didn’t work, no extra blanket, pool area had no ventilation

It was overall a nice hotel. But just wish we didn’t find food crumbs on the floor right when we walk in our room.

The two bedroom suite was big and spacious and we liked that it was walking distance to the mall.

It could’ve been a lot cleaner and the breakfast could’ve been better. The food was not what we expected. And one of the tvs in the room wasn’t hooked up, so we hooked it back up ourselves.

This is always our go to location for our annual Christmas shopping trip with just my husband and I. This is a well maintained hotel with friendly staff. We always book here because we have never had anything bad to say.

My birthday weekend! Had a great time!

Location was perfect! Bed was very comfortable. Room was nice and clean. Will stay again.

TV was a little small and awkwardly placed to the left side of the bed.

The breakfast selection was adequate. We enjoyed the service from the staff. And the location of the hotel was near a large shopping mall and restaurants which was great.

When I booked into the hotel, I requested our room not be on the highway side of the building. The front desk clerk obliged, and we were given another room. The room's heating system did not work. We were moved to another room where the heating system worked but was too noisy. Otherwise, our stay was fine.
