Overall we like staying at Porter Square Hotel (it was our third stay)

The staff : Cleanliness of room and public areas : Location (near T station)

Room was a bit small and not much storage space. A small fridge would be great

Adequate

The Porter is neat, clean, and comfortable. Quite adequate for a one person, one-night stay in the springtime. The adjoining restaurant with entrance directly from the hotel provided great French food at surprisingly reasonable prices.

I had a "two twin beds" room, which was small yet impressively designed to make use of every square foot. The bathroom was probably no bigger than 6 ft x 6 ft. The walk-in shower had a door that opened INTO the shower, making it tough to get in and out. (I'm medium sized. It would be even more hassle for a large person). There was no closet space, and minimal drawer space.

Lovely but pricey for what it is and what you get

The location was good near the T line, shop and cafe nero which was convenient. Hotel was always clean and tidy. Beautiful area to the rear, would be fabulous if it was enclosed more for guests.

Staff checked me out on the last day after I told them I had to go back up less than 5 minutes previously for my suitcase. I didn't like the major gap under the bottom of the room doors or the air heating/cooling system in the room... too extreme.

A home away from home.

The hotel room was really cute and cozy, and the hotel was in a GREAT location! Price of a double room was incredibly reasonable by Boston standards.

Free parking would have been nice.

Great location, very small rooms.

Friendly staff tried to help. Nice restaurant in the lobby.

Tiny beds. The standard room seems like a small boat cabin. Having two people in the room could be a fire hazard as both could not walk to the door at the same time. It's that small.

Location is good. Room comfortable. Staff friendly

Noise from the road. No breakfast facilities. Air conditioning not working had to ask for it to be turned off as the fan was running continuously

A great hotel for for a fair price.

pretty much everything about this property was great. The staff were fun and friendly. I liked this hotel and hope to return again

nothing. Only thing to note is the hotel doesn’t serve breakfast on-site but they recommend a great diner called Andy’s a couple of blocks away.

Nice stay

The hotel is exactly as described on the booking site. Fresh, clean, comfortable. the room was not too big, but as described. There was a microwave at the lobby, and a complimentary coffee was also nice.

weather bad so I asked for a taxi; never came made me late for the funeral. Parking fee removed .

Staff were very friendly and helpful with my inquiries.

Booked hotel on line and looked at the list of amenities. "Free Parking" but when I arrived I was informed of my parking options: Valet or on-street parking. Receptionist gave me a discount of 1/2 off the fee.

good location of a new euro style hotel.

smaller perhaps, but modern well appointed rooms and bathroom. Neighborhood view from rear side is made delightful by the use of large full length windows that reflect architectural quality.

scam. never again

They charge your credit card without permission. 10$ have been taken and the hotel is claiming I left the car at velvet parking after 10am which led to the amount. This is not possible since I left 8.45 and handed in the car 9.45 at the airport. This is very dishonest behavior
