I need a refund.

Absolutely nothing. I felt unsafe.

I hated the property. I didn’t feel safe. No front desk. I didn’t stay. I booked for a non-smoking, and the lady I finally got ahold of over the phone while standing at the property told me she only had smoking. I requested a refund then. Still waiting. This place really is shady though.

Outside curb appeal is ok.

Beds are really uncomfortable and are camping style beds, pictures on website are taken with a bedskirt. Rooms dont smell the greatest. No one is ever around at night when there is problems with keys, have to call a phone number on wall then woman comes out all grumpy.

A roof over my head.

Housekeeping doesn't know how to clean, dogs pee on floors and know one wants to clean. Got new manager and all I see is it getting worse daily!!

A Great Deal - But Be Prepared

The price is great and the facility is located very conveniently between Ankeny and Des Moines (one exit north of the I35 and 80 interchange).

This is a long-term stay facility and they really are not geared to be a hotel. If you arrive late the desk isn't open and getting a hold of the onsite manager is confusing (different phone numbers all over the place). They had very confusing extra agreements about garbage that really don't apply to overnight guests -- yet you need to sign them. The cleanliness was a mixed bag -- while much of the room was clean there was hair on the bed sheets (not cover - the sheets). That said -- we bring our own sheets for just such a contingency so the room was a real bargain and it was just a very annoying check-in process.

The staff was very unfriendly at the front desk. She did not greet us when we walked up to the counter, just stared at us so we began by saying we’re here for a reservation. The next morning we were unsure if we needed to turn the keys back in and she looked at us, walked by, and then half way down the hall, passive aggressively said “you just leave it in the room.”

Flew to Iowa to watch our son's football game. He plays for Baylor, and they played Iowa State.

Good location.

The entire hotel smelled bad, especially the room itself. The bed was small and extremely uncomfortable. The entire room could use a remodel as everything seemed really outdated.

Never happening again.

The pictures of the facility are not accurate. Our room had candy wrappers on the floor next to the trash can. There were coins on the floor in the bathroom. The cabinets are peeling their veneer so bad a chunk fell off when we shut it. The AC unit kicked on every few minutes and sounded like a jet engine. I never leave a bad review, but this was over the top terrible.

Location was great. Easy to access and not far from our activities.

Smelled like smoke in the hallways, unpleasant. Security light was right outside our window and still shined through the blinds, curtains would have been helpful. We only had 2 towels for 3 of us.

I will be suggesting this to my friends who travel for sure!

The location was awesome! Desk clerk was super friendly and helpful! I love the fact that you plow the dog potty area! My southern dog was able to have grass to go potty on. Thank you for the baggies too! I do have my own but its always nice when that is available! I will be staying on my way back south!

Really nothing... I was super happy with the fridge~ I didn't expect to cook any thing that couldn't be used in the micro so I didn't need that.

The place is a remodel and update

The convenience to the freeway.

Blood on the floor of the elevator. We requested two beds however we were given a queen bed. The front desk clerk was rude and unpleasant. She also was not helpful. We decided to stay somewhere else.

Thankful to have a place to sleep and it was fairly comfortable.

Non smoking room but the whole floor smelled of smoke and pot which seeped into my room. Sticky floor. No amenities outside of a kitchen that wasn't needed for a short stay.

It was inexpensive and dog friendly. The guy at the desk was very nice. My room was very clean.

The small, uncomfortable bed was made bearable by the comfortable pillows and decent blankets. The walls and ceilings are so thin that it's very noisy and you feel like you're sharing the room with others. It has full size refrigerator, a stove, sink and microwave, but no coffeemaker. There is no lobby, and you have to use the phone on the wall to get a hold of someone to come to the desk. But he came quickly and was very nice.

Superb

Staff were very friendly. There was a lot of green space to walk the pooch around, avoiding any brown bombs. The entrances/exits/parking lot felt secure with adequate lighting at night and key card access. Loved the clock with USB charging ports.

Bed was a little small, very bouncy, not enough pillows. Key cards seemed to quit working night or 2 prior to scheduled checkout. Had to watch where you walked due to feces, it seemed other patrons did not pick up after their animals, nor were there any pick up bags to use at the "disposal stations." (I always carry my own.)

Sketchy!

The safety lock on the door was broken - I'm a lady traveling by myself; I was wondering if they did that on purpose so I slid the refrigerator in front of the door during the night! There were no curtains on the windows (just blinds) so a ton of light came through and the noise from the nearby highway was ridiculously loud! There were also signs about how you would be charged $50 if you didn't throw your trash in the dumpster - not sure what that was about, but I didn't risk throwing anything away.
