After the second room it was tolerable

I stayed in two different rooms, and both had a couch in them that was visibly stained and made the rest of the room seem dirty.

It was OK

All was pretty good for my project,

I was a little perturbed by the lady in reseption on my arrival. I booked with Booking.com and I had my booking receipt. But the receptionists insisted that I had booked 3 rooms for three nights and said I would have to pay for this booking even though my booking receipt clearly stated , one person, one room , 3 nights. It seemed to rectify its self after a day or so. But not a good start to my visit to Elko.

Great one night stay. Highly recommended.

Great location and easy to find. Very clean and comfortable with spacious room, fast internet and excellent breakfast.

The plumbing fixtures in the toilet and the shower are bit old and rusty.

Our room had curtains that wouldn’t close all the way and they also covered the air conditioner so the air flow didn’t cool the room that well.

It was fine except for the lack of attention to details.

The breakfast was ok...but items kept running out and no one seemed to be around to address this issue. Occasionally a woman would appear from the back room and had to be told about shortages. Both days the coffee was empty when we got there. Also one of the 2 elevators was put "out of service" on our second day, and the water was out in the workout room. Attention to detail seemed to be lacking. However, our room was nice with everything working fine; except the cleaning staff didn't freshen our room for our second night of staying.

It was a reliable spot, if overpriced for what you get.

Waffles were fine. The TV in the lobby was not running sports programs.

The ambiance is Chain Hotel. There isn't much more to say.

Breakfast was very good for a buffet. Location was convenient to I-80.

Room was noisy and vibrated from nearby ice machine. Had to change rooms at night.

Hampton Inn was good but booking.com was terrible.

The breakfast was good . There were choices for breakfast. It would have been nice to have a microwave in the breakfast area. It would have been nice to have a refrigerator in the room to keep left overs. .

I thought there was a hot tub. There was only a pool. the hallways were very hot. Even though it was cold outside, We had an emergency and booking.com would not allow me to cancel a day without payijng for the night even though it was 48 hours ahead. Booking said I could send a message requesting this to the hotel and booking .com would not let me send the message. I talked to the manager and the manager agreed I could check out early without penalty but had no idea if booking.com would adcept this. I have not received a refund and will avoid using booking.com again.

The staff was friendly. The room was nice sized and comfortable. The room was very clean. The fitness room was clean and of nice size. Laundry area was clean and not overly priced. Breakfast was good with options.
