The Inns of Aurora exceeded my expectations regarding the professionalism of staff, the cleanliness of the properties, the Spa and restaurants in their desire to exceed any expectations that you may have had prior to arrival.
There isn't anything I would change

Beautiful property. Rooms a bit small but very clean and amazing staff

The inns are well kept and offer a few additional amenities like a small sampling of wine and cheese evenings and granola bars in the morning. The spa was the best part of our trip and well worth the price of the treatments.
The inns are secluded and the only small mini store and both restaurants are owned by the Inns so not a variety of things to do. No shopping nearby or other places to eat without a drive . We had to book 2 night minimum and chose booking.com because we have an account we use often. They booked us in a king garden level which was essentially in the basement of the inn. I called ahead concerned about noise and asked if we should upgrade. The inn person said they don’t have issues and those rooms tend to be quiet. Unfortunately we were awoken our 1st night by doors opening and closing and loud wedding guests. I asked if they could move us to a higher floor our last night but they told us we would have to pay for an upgrade through booking.com. I was disappointed since the price we paid for the current room was not inexpensive. We also secured two kayaks for the day we arrived to find out we had to cancel because the pick up and drop off spot was where they had set up a wedding ceremony that same time period. It is a beautiful place and love the designs of the inns. unfortunately if feels like it is set up as an events/wedding location rather than a couples getaway spot.

The bed was comfortable . The dinner in the Aurora is was good, not great. Staff was great
No decaf coffee, no soap in the shower, cool room that did not warm up with heat adjustments, arrogant staff

Beautiful area, gorgeous design, fantastic staff. The Innkeeper Gerri was amazing! she makes sure to kept the inn immaculate.

The tiny town and environment were lovely. The staff was accommodating, and they offer cute little touches like a fire pit and fixings for s'mores. The decor is cute. And unlike most hotels, they had enough places to hang towels.
Something felt a little bit stuffy. The shower offered only a rain head that took forever to rinse out shampoo, and no place to prop up a leg. Also off-putting, after the fact, was the $37/day "resort fee" they charged. This is a deceptive way to quote a more competitive price and then charge customers more than the quoted price, Nice at it was, this facility is not a resort, nor was there any service offered worthy of $37 a day.

Every building, bed room, living room, dining room and gardens were wonderfully decorated. Lots of taste and attention to the details.

beautiful area and scenery around the lake everything was close and very convenient

The Inns are all very beautiful, excellently staffed, beautifully appointed with the total comfort of guests in mind. Bedding linens are chosen with rich fabrics offering extreme comfort. The 1833 restaurant offers an extensive choice of entrees and wine selections. The dinners were excellent, the service unmatched. Breakfast and lunch were appetizing and delectable.
Guest requests are met with total satisfaction. The lake views are spectacular.
The continental breakfast was adequate, but didn't seem to fit the high standards set by the Inns. I would prefer and am accustomed to more selections in a physical space that can accommodate more than two people at a time. The butler pantry area was too confined and crowded. The granola bars were tasty and healthy if that is something to your liking.
Personally neither my husband nor I find granola bars very appetizing.

We love it at this hotel!
This is our second time there and will definitely go back!
It’s spotless, friendly staff, beautiful rooms with beautiful bathrooms, gorgeous view, exceptional dining room with cozy bar, and wonderful food.
Fireplaces in the lobby.
Perfect setting by the lake.
Loved our porch with swing overlooking the lake.
Wasn’t much that we didn’t like.
Our gas fireplace made a noise that was loud, so we didn’t use it. But, we didn’t say anything about it.
But, that was really the only negative, other than one of the desk clerks was scrolling her phone one morning, instead of paying attention to who was coming and going.
All of the other clerks we very attentive and friendly.

no complaints at all really but as a suggestion maybe with covid restrictions they can have some type of wine tasting available since it is the finger lakes. But no complaints at all!!

Beautiful accommodation, friendly and helpful staff, and an incredible dining experience. The grounds are gorgeous and well manicured with stunning views right on the lake. Also a short drive to nearby vineyards. Cannot wait to come back!
