Excellent

Très grande chambre ,style suite et cuisine tout équipé à notre disponibilité et à côté de la mer avec chaises disponivle. Endroit très tranquille.

Enseigne du stationnement est clair mais pour l'entrée autant du propriétaire que celle pour nous, devrait être mieux indiqué ou ajouter informations au bas de enseigne du stationnement😉

Perfection in an Inn on the Atlantic

Absolutely everything!! It's probably the most beautiful Inn I've ever stayed in. Beautiful family. I didn't want to leave!! 20 out of 10!! Great price as well.🥰

We really enjoyed our stay. The owners are friendly, sincere, and care about their guests’ comfort.

Clean, charming, quiet, private, and so close to the ocean! I could see the ocean from the bedroom window. Bonus surprise: I didn’t realize that we would have access to a full kitchen!

There’s a few steps from the main bedroom to the bathroom- could be a trip hazard.

We really enjoyed sitting out looking at the ocean and the proximity to the tourist sites.

We had our own kitchen facilities where we could make our own meals. We could go out on the property and sit on the hill that overlooked the ocean. It was so beautiful and the owners encouraged our sitting out and enjoying the view.

The stairs were a bit of a challenge as we had lots of suitcases and the stairs were narrow as it was a house that was originally built in 1915, but the decor and the ambience made up for it.

Exceeded expectations in every way and we would stay there again.

We didn't know what to expect when we booked this location and I can tell you that it exceeded our expectation. The location was amazing across the street from the ocean and a very short drive to restaurants. Trails and Cape Bonavista Light house was just a short 5 min drive. The bedroom was beautifully kept and super clean. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything you needed to make food. Herb and Janice were always available to answer any questions you had. Thank you Herb and Janice.

We couldn't ask for anything better. For us everything exceeded our expectations.

Very cozy and full of history place in Bonavista

Cozy and sparkilng clean room in an old house full of history. Don't miss all the objects and explanations around the house. Bed was very confortable, we could hear de sea during the night. All directions, check-in and home instructions were very clear. The bathroom was super clean, functional and amenities were provided. I wish we could have stayed longer to have the time to talk and learn more about the owners!

Very enjoyable stay! Wonderful location.

This 103 year old house has been beautifully renovated and decorated. The room had an attached sitting area, looking out over the sea. Amazing views over the water.We had the house to ourselves as 2nd guest had cancelled. We were greeted by host when we drove up. Very quiet and comfortable.

Difficult to find. We got lost so many times in Bonavista, but maybe that is just me.

Lovely place, but we probably won’t stay again

I loved the room, we had the one with the extension that has a little viewing area so that you can watch the water from a couch or chair. It was within 10 minutes of arriving that we saw our first whale come up for a breath and went outside to get a better look. The bathroom was really lovely and clean. Bed is super comfy. Location of this place is fantastic. The best part about staying here was probably meeting the neighbouring houses - Peter from Red Point Retreat who was up there with his daughter and Charlene and Ryan who live across the street and gave us a real Newfie experience.

The walls are paper thin so you can hear whatever your neighbour tourists are doing/saying even if not whispering. Herb (the owner) and his wife weren’t there while we stayed so I’m not sure about noise from downstairs. A tour of the kitchen might be nice so we don’t have to go through everything to see where things are/what they have. Didn’t have bikes but we made friends with the neighbours who lent us bikes for a few days. I’m not sure what the going rate for b&b’s are in the area but it did seem like a lot in retrospect. But everything seems to have gone up in cost in Nfld, our whole trip was a trip of “oh the cost has gone up since we checked in March…”

Arrive and say yes this is quintessential Newfoundland at its best!

After a wonderful day driving up the peninsula to arrive at this historic home with it’s charm was just perfect!

The only suggestion is to have a little coffee/tea station in the room. Other the that it was a lovely accommodation.

Perfect

We booked for one night on way back to St. John's, wish we had booked two nights. Accommodations were perfect and the town was so beautiful. Went out for a delicious dinner. Would definitely go back.

Wonderfully relaxing, comfortable and scenic!

Breakfast wasn’t included but kitchen amenities were excellent and coffee and tea were provided. The accommodations were comfortable and clean with every attention paid to creating a relaxing and inviting atmosphere. We would return in a heartbeat!

A perfect weekend getaway

The location is beautiful and right on the ocean. The room was gorgeous and cozy with an electric fireplace, and the bathroom was beautiful and spacious. The hosts were lovely. Inn is close to town.

We loved it overall, the room was very charming, as was the entire community!

The room was beautiful and very welcoming. The bathroom was very sweet and clean, as was the kitchen area!

The only downside was the shower head was down to low even for me, so for my husband at 6 feet tall, it was impossible.

The best location and view in Bonavista!

You couldn't get a more ideal location ! Close to everything: nature walks ,views, restaurants etc.. the room was superb , better than described.

We were under the illusion breakfast was included, as the reviews for this booking listed it as so. We were shown to a kitchen but there was no mention of breakfast of even coffee available. Just wasn't very clear... Maybe if you book via their property direct breakie is included?

It was clean bed was very comfortable

We booked the big room with a fireplace and spa tub for our anniversary but when we arrived we did not get the room we book cause it was double booked we got a smaller room no fire place no spa tub and we paid same price was very disappointing
