No breakfast was available there. Not included. Restaurant didn’t open until 11 for lunch. View was gorgeous. No elevators. My room was on 4th floor Got to room. It was nice. Air conditioner was not cooling. Called down to front and the sent maintenance man straight up. He tried fixing it. Before he left it quit working again. He called and got me another room. It was nice with a view from the mountain over looking the river. Very pretty.
No elevator. And they charged a deposit at checking in. That wasn’t on the booking page. They said it would be refunded if no damages.

The location of the resort is amazing. The views from the restaurant were breathtaking. They had many outdoor activities to enjoy. We really enjoyed the sky train the the Alpine Slide. I would love to come back in the winter.
Our room was in the worst location. Our view out our window was of the compressor units and the rooftop. For such a beautiful place, the room they chose to give us was a disappointment. Also, there was no blow dryer in the room which was very surprising.

The breakfast buffet was second to none. Bacon sausage eggs pancakes all kinds of different fruit and much more!
If I want to be real picky I could say on the side of the bed there was a bunch of hairs on the lamp on the floor. But with employee shortages they had the room pretty darn clean.

Long drive to location from Galena on winding hilly road.
STAFF only interested in people from the "group"! We felt alienated, 2nd class not important.
No one to assist with bags to room, up and down stairs. No elevators. Had to search for staff in resturant. Drains clogged in tub, very low water pressure.
**I requested Waterview when I did reservations. I was told because I used 3rd party booking request wasn't visible to them that I should call directly.

Location is beautiful and private. Amazing views.
Bathroom was very small. No countertop space to put bathroom essentials. Towels stored in open closet as can’t put in bathroom. Also had large spider in bed. came out from pillows while watching TV.

Location was furture from town then I thought.
Check in is to late in the afternoon. Check in should be 1 or 2 o'clock.

A lot of things to do, although we did not stay here very long. Very scenic area.
For the amount paid for the accommodations, there needs to be some updating. Things were not very handy in the bathroom and it was very small. You had to purchase your breakfast instead of just getting it yourself. Quite a drive to get there.

The views were SPECTACULAR! There is also a lot to do there. The restaurant has good food and everyone at the resort was very nice. The bed and room itself were comfortable and nice enough but overall, the facilities could use a little updating, especially at these prices. Still, it is a lovely place with lovely views.
The bathroom was VERY VERY TINY and outdated. If you weren't careful you hit your head when you bent over at all. There was no complimentary breakfast at all. And the location is awesome for the views, but if you want to do anything in Galena, you are going to have to drive several miles. It's totally worth it for the views and there's a lot to do at the resort, just be aware.

Perfect location to enjoy your vacation, breakfast was good and lunch was amazing with very reasonable pricing. The resort offers rides, a good pool, and fun activities that keep you occupied for a day then you head towards Gelena Downtime for more. For people will young kids, this is a better option than staying in Galena, as your kids can have fun all morning and can then head with you willingly to the town.

Such a beautiful place, but needs updating. Should embrace the seventies vibe, which is totally cool!
The view and sunsets are spectacular.
The staff are very friendly and have a great sense of humor.
Just wish the rooms were a bit more updated…. But very comfortable.

I simply loved the view, was the best view Ive ever seen at a hotel. Room was nice and warm, didnt need to much extra heat. I do have to say that I just loved walking out into the hallways; what ever you do with with room and hall deoderizer was perfect. Smelled so good. Ive never had that experience anywhere before. I am 5' tall. The bed was way to high, top mattress came up to my mid to upper ribs. Im 70 and that issue needs to be looked into. I also did not know I needed to call directly to reserve a room on lower level. My fault I guess and next time I wont make same mistake

Staff was extremely friendly. Donna and Jose both kept the bar open later for us and other guests. Beautiful scenery. We were seated next to the windows looking out at the Mississippi River every time we dined!

Views were amazing. Staff was perfect. Restaurant was great, we liked so much first night that we ate there the next night.
Nothing to do with hotel, the area is very tricky to drive. Definitely suggest arriving when it's light out. It is very hilly and the roads leading to hotel could be very treacherous if weather is rough or if tired at night. Hotel is spectacular. This is just heads up to future guests new to the area.
