Das Frühstück war brauchbar, mehr aber auch nicht.

Das Motel ist ein in die Jahre gekommenes "along the Roadside" Motel. Die indischen Inhaber haben alles neu gestrichen und die Bodenbeläge erneuert. Das Bad ist alt. Keine Tapeten, nur nackte gestrichene Wände. Die Bewertung als 4 Sterne Hotel - und damit auf einer Stufe wie bspw. ein Marriott - ist ein schlechter Witz. Mehr als 2 Sterne sind bei der Ausstattung nicht gerechtfertigt. Die Angabe der Zimmergröße mit 52 m2 ist ebenfalls total übertrieben. 26 m2 wäre ehrlicher. Insofern stimmt das Preis/ Leistungsverhältnis überhaupt nicht.

Just one night for a good price.

Beds were comfortable and clean.

Rail in closet was broken and sink wouldn’t drain. Staff had very limited hours. Ice machine didn’t work.

Poor sense of cleanliness

Coffee was good.

Was moved from first room because of dirty room and non working TV into a cleaner room with brown water . Not worth any amount of money .

Clean and comfortable

Fine for a quick overnight stay. The bed was comfortable; the room could use a bit more cheer.

Breakfast was motel standard - yogurt, cereal, cold boiled eggs - but the coffee was weak and tasteless.

Beautifully decorated room

Carpeting was only vacuumed down the center of traveled areas---edges of carpeting, in between and around furniture could have been much cleaner. Big dust bunny in one of the bureau drawers.

We always stay at Casco Bay Inn when we go to visit our family in Portland. It's welcoming, always clean and very homey. It's not the usual hotel or motel. It's better ! We love staying here.

We needed a comfortable, quiet, and clean inn and we found it.

The good reviews were well-earned and we liked it well enough that we will definitely stay there again.

Not fancy but just what I needed.

Just needed a clean, quiet place to spend the night. This suited us fine. Breakfast was sufficient to get us rolling and the morning staff were particularly pleasant.

I need to remember to ask for a first floor room. My old knees didn’t like the stairs.

Would not recommend and would like our $20 refunded.

It was Quaint and appealing on the outside.

The innkeeper seem to be tired and grumpy when we checked in. The sheets on one of the beds had not been changed and it was quite apparent. We checked out on time in the morning but when we got home we saw that we have been charged $20 extra on??

I'd go back in a NY minute.

Casco is a very homey place. It's comfortable, clean and very accommodating, with a lovely lending library and WIFI that works!

The breakfast was scant, however it was ample to get us going each morning.

Superb

The location and the amenities in the room and at the hotel.

It clearly says no pets allowed which is why we stayed there. Only to come to the lobby the next morning to find a huge German Shepard dog in the lobby. Idk if it was the managers but that was a huge disappointment since I am highly allergic to dogs!

Great find just outside Portland!

This was our first trip to Maine and this was a great place to stay. We really enjoyed chatting with the owner. He came out while we were having a drink on the patio and gave us lots of good info about the area. The place just kind of felt like home. It is located In Freeport and there are some good local eats near the Inn. A little restaurant right at the Freeport Marina that has excellent lobster fresh of the boat and great lobster rolls as well. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are planning a trip to Portland as it is only a 15 drive.

It was clean and quiet and the bed was comfortable. The staff was friendly and courteous.

They advertised breakfast, but it was definitely not what we expected- cold hard boiled eggs, yogurt, and cold cereal. That was the only disappointing part of our stay. Everything else was very nice.
