The location is beyond gorgeous! the lodge has a magical/calming feel to it. if you want to feel like you’ve gone back to a time where there is no internet or TV and work is nearly impossible, this is the place to go.

Charges to use a canoe or kayak for a 4 hour period, when an hour or two is all that’s needed. Charges for internet and without it, it’s impossible to even send a text. Lots and lots of charges.

It’s located right next to Lake Quinault and I can see the lake from the window.

No WiFi connection and even if you are willing to purchase, it was also not possible. There’s also no cellphone connection. The bed was not comfortable

The grounds were well maintained, room was clean and good size...fireplace was a nice touch. Quiet and relaxing environment. Roosevelt Room and lobby were very nice

Price, $300-$400 would seem reasonable. No phone to call front desk. My wife was disappointed in no iron or Ironing board...after unpacking her suitcase, cloths were wrinkled

Amazingly unique experience. The staff and service were impeccable and they even sent on some of my belongings on to LA that I left behind!

I love the location and the historical building was interesting.

No elevator, no phone to front desk, bed was too soft and creaky, and restaurant menu was limited options and expensive.

The lodge was very nice and tastefully decorated and the location can’t be beat. The pool and game room were an added bonus.

Our rooms, carpets and window screens were very dull and dusty. While tastefully decorated, the rooms are not very well kept, especially considering the price. The breakfast was very disappointing- each of the four in our party were displeased with their meal and the waitress was not very pleasant either.

The staff were very courteous.

only complaint is the walls are very un-insulated. we stayed 2 nights and the second night the guy next door coughed very loudly the entire night and we literally got no sleep at all.

location heavenly. The leather covered furniture in the lobby / fireplace area was beautiful and extremely comfortable… loved it!

room not quite as pictured; sink leaked but was fixed when we called office, however the carpet remained wet and we weren’t offered another room even though there were plenty of vacancies. Additionally there were dust-covered spider webs under the lamps in the main fireplace lobby. Once i you see that you just don’t quite trust the cleanliness…

The fireplace was cozy, and the grounds are really something. Actual creamer for coffee in the room, not powdered! This is a tiny detail but wins big points with me.

Strange hours for breakfast in the restaurant. I went down at 8 to eat, but it wasn't open. At 9 I had a Zoom meeting and went to another room to take it, at which point I noticed that the restaurant was open. When I came back down at 10, closed again. I'm assuming this is due to a staffing issue, but it was wholly inconvenient and did not line up with posted hours of operation. It's clear that the lodge has a concern for not wasting anything, which is good, but loses a little as far as detail ratings. Each bath product came from a different manufacturer, and the coffee cups were from Starbucks, but the coffee itself was Keurig's Green Mountain. Tbh I don't really care about that, just something that drew my attention. The rooms felt somewhat bare bones in the main lodge. I didn't have a desk or table in my room, so could not work from the room I was assigned. I'm sure very few folks come to this outdoorsy locale to work, but after paying $16 for WiFi it was a frustrating inconvenience. If you're arriving late be sure to pack your own food (dry goods, this place is historical and there isn't a tv or mini-fridge to be seen. I know, i know- that's not why you come here). Nothing is open past 9 (hotel restaurant closes at 8) and I felt bad for a weary European traveler who arrived starving at 9:10. The front desk associate suggested he buy some trail mix (that, wine, and soda are the only thing on offer). Still, the trails were great, gorgeous locale, bring Goretex. Definitely worth the trip.

Room was small with no shower. Only one coffee cup.

All of the food was good. The location of the restaurant was perfect and the view eceptional!

We are 82 yrs old and our accommodation was very far from the lodge so, unless we wanted to spend all of our time in the room, we had quite a hike to the lodge many times a day. We asked to be moved and were not accommodated even though there were apparently rooms available. This is about our 10th stay there over many years and the only less than great review we've ever given.

Location is lovely and staff is nice.

The internet access is very pricey which is odd as places nearby offer free access
