Lots of opportunity for improvement

The condo was spacious and a short walk down the hill to a beautiful public beach.

The unit we stayed in has probably been in need of deep clean for a few years, lots of built up dust and grime and things left behind from prior stays, and dishes that had been put away dirty. The amenities listed falsely advertise mini golf and an outdoor pool onsite. We had a two bedroom condo, and there is only one parking spot available per unit which meant we needed to utilize the park and ride for our party’s second vehicle. The photos give the perception that there is a view from the deck; while the deck is spacious, your view is of the Lakeside Lodge across the parking lot. It was absolutely not worth the $600 per night we paid in August 2024, particularly considering the competition in town.

We left early, stay anywhere else

Hard to find something to write here. The location was very convenient even though you have no view.

We left a night early rather than stay another night here. The plumbing was terrible, a bathtub took forever to drain and a toilet filled so slowly we used sink water to refill the tank. The door frame to one of the bathrooms was damaged upon our arrival and one of the hinges was loose causing the door to be difficult to close. A queen sized bed had a double sized mattress topper. The code provided for the garage didn't work, we had to exit the vehicle, enter the garage on foot, use the manual opener inside the run back into the car and drive in before the gate closed. The curtains/blinds might as well not be there, they do not block out the street lights in the parking lot let alone the morning sun. I had to yell at 2 different rooms at 1am and 1:30am for being loud and smoking on the patio. After trying to contact Vacasa for assistance they simply said they had forwarded my issues to the "local operations manager" who I have yet to hear from. None of the issues were ever addressed. Absolutely miserable experience that makes me never want to book an Airbnb/Vacasa/Share house/Condo ever again, I'd rather pay more for a standard hotel that's smaller and will actually support it's guests.

Barely passable only due to great location

Could not get the garage code to work someone else let us in and the code provided by vacsasa never worked the on-site manager had to give us her code

The patio was so dirty (chairs and table covered in dust and spiderwebs) it was unusable maybe if there was a broom on-site however there wasn't which also meant dirty floors inside. Plus the propane was almost empty called first thing and they brought in on the last day. useless!

Nice location but awful service.

the location was great and layout of condos was really nice.

My biggest complaint is that we discovered one of the kitchen sinks was leaking. The problem was never fixed, the maintenance man did not return to fix the problem as promised and we were never compensated. We were not able to use the kitchen sink during the stay. Communication and service were awful.

the property was clean, with a large kitchen with good utility, 2 bedroom with nice and comfortable beds,a huge balcony with gas grill, nice view, nice neighborhood.

Disappointed

Location was great and the AC worked beautifully! It was over 100 degrees when we stayed. The lights and fireside table on the balcony were a nice touch.

The place was run-down and needed updates. The couch had stains all over it, the master bed (frame) was sqeaky and noisy whenever you moved, towel racks were broken, lights were on weird dimmers and took a bit to get them to work. The dishwasher door wouldn't close (it's required that you run it when you check out). Blinds/ curtains were missing.

Not ideal. Would of booked elsewhere with all the issues we had.

Only good thing was the kitchen and space in room.

the cable tv didn’t work, was told there was a grill on balcony n that was not true. Cable TV also did not work, door didn’t work so was locked for 5-10 minutes every time i left the room. Kitchen vent doesn’t vent to the outside so smell stayed. Curtains were purdy beat up. Washer knob was broken. Not a very clean suite when we arrived. Lots of little trash everywhere.

Outdoor area (needs cleaning and the farm tubs are ugly) , no controller for the TV , master bedroom had an ugly bedspread for a curtain, throw all the dishes and pots and pans in the garbage, could not park in the parking area because our code did not work

Disappointing

Location

To whom it may concern, I would like to provide a summary of the mishaps and the condition of our condo, upon arrival and throughout the stay. I would also hope that the following details will aid in making your business as successful as possible. We chose to spend our money with you to our chagrin. There is a leak under the sink on the left side. A bowl had been placed to catch the water, but the water flooded the under the sink and covered the electrical outlets, caused a huge safety hazard and quite a mess. The bowl was clearly placed with intention and without follow-through. We spent the evening cleaning the floor and securing the electrical outlets. The surfaces haven't been dusted or cleaned in months. The surface above the refrigerator and on the kitchen counters are sticky and the space behind the toaster had a dead fly surrounded by crumbs. The mantel surface and the bookcase are laced with dust. The control knob on the dryer was missing and a pair of needle nose pliers were in place to control the dryer. Such a safety issue. The dryer was full of damp towels that had not been tended to. The blankets and bedspread in the master bedroom were full of sand. We didn't sleep under the covers as we weren't comfortable with the cleanliness of the sheets. Fortunately, we brought our own pillows. The small wares; cups, and glasses are dismal and not enough to accommodate the occupancy of the reservation as described. The patio furniture needs attention as does the cleanliness of the outdoor space. There are 5 burnt-out light bulbs, 3 missing window shades, and a blanket tied with plastic garbage bags hanging in the master bedroom. While I can appreciate your rules and the requirements of the guest's behavior, I am disappointed that the same level of respect and quality is not returned. The condition of this space is by no means the quality that is presented and advertised and I would not recommend these accommodations.

They did not thoroughly clean the condo! We found food on the floor, crumbs on the counters, wrapper on bathroom floor, and fingerprints on fridge. Made us wonder what they did or didn’t clean, which is not a comfortable feeling.

Comfortable, but bunk beds don't work for everyone

Deck, location near a park, 2 bathrooms, well-equipped kitchen.

We were sent the wrong code for the unit and couldn't get into the garage or the unit. It took quite awhile of waiting on hold to reach anyone. The unit description does not mention that the second bedroom has bunk beds. It should.

Overall, a good stay. I would choose a higher floor next time for a view.

location was lovely, contactless check-in and out was streamlined and easy.

When we first arrived, an air freshener was left in the condo that was so strong and gross, even though we left it outside and opened the doors, you could still smell it on the day we cleft. The futon/couch was barely usable, the springs are broken in the cushions and it should be replaced asap. The balcony furniture was not cleaned so we couldn’t really use it. Road noise was loud for the front room, and there were people arguing late on the entry one level above so it was loud as well in the front room. check out is very early.

lovey family friendly !

love the location ! central to everything and walking distance to a winery :) lovely views of the mountain from floor 2 and up! can walk to the beach and dock for a nice view . playground behind property for those with kiddos !

the pool room is a bit loud when a lot of people are in there, however there is a nice balcony attached to escape the sound !

We left our time there and will definitely go back. We would go back to stay at this resort as well.

The location was great on the set up of the unit it was really nice. The bbq and kitchen were great. The pool and hot tub were awesome!

The parking space we were assigned was very difficult with our vehicle. The bed in the master bedroom was uncomfortable and the door going onto the balcony is a full window and the blind was missing. The balcony was really dirty and there was no way to clean it.

property management sucked. listing said it slept six. bedding was not provided for the pull out couch. when I called they asked me to drive to Walmart and buy my own sheets. And offered a $25 credit. which I did not receive. they provided the sheets the next day, AFTER I had to call and ask for them again the codes to get into the parking garage didn’t work. gates to stairways were propped open or broken so luckily we could get into the unit.

Decent place but no gym/fitness center

The location of the complex was great. It was easy to get on the main road and to downtown. There is also a water front park minutes from the complex.

The listing says there is a gym/fitness center but I could not locate it. When I contacted support they were not help. Also the parking pass was not in the room and again support was no help.

The accommodation is worth persueing, but through some other agency than Vecasa.

The accommodation was clean, comfortable, with a well equipped kitchen. A soap dish in the main shower would have been appreciated, but not available. Could have done without the shredded couch pillows. But all in all, very adequate, and as we all 3 agreed, recommendable.

What could have been better was interactions with Vacasa. After complying to a non-refundable full payment, after answering questions that seemed to stop short of my grandmother's maiden name, I only had one request: I needed entry info other than through "email specifically" on the day of arrival at 10AM, which was the only thing being offered. A text perhaps, or an earlier while I still had wifi for email. And even so, NO EMAIL ARRIVED UNTIL 3:08PM, and then only after I made a specific request for entry info.

the property was very clean and in a great location.

I had to call to get my code and it didn’t work when we got there so I had to call again. When taking the garbage out, the keypad was broken on door for using to walk around the building to get back in. the main bathroom toilet was plugged the whole time.
