The Vue is a beautiful place to stay. The hotel grounds are well kept & the downtown is a short walk

The Staff was friendly and the pool areas were very beautiful and peaceful. The pools were also very warm and clean.

Our wifi was not the greatest and the front desk said they couldn't do anything about it. The breakfast was ok but the hashbrowns were extremely overcooked as well as the Bacon. Be sure to fill out your waiver for each guest too before you check in or it may take a while. The parks that are included are fun but very expensive for food and drinks while there.

Decent mid-market place but rooms are cramped and walls are paper thin

Overall, it's a decent place with a convenient location (via car) with a fun swimming pool, hot tub and sauna. It's definitely worth it to pay a little extra for the river views which are spectacular. The rooms themselves are pretty small and the walls are quite thin so you'll hear your neighbors and anyone traipsing down the hall. Also, very good staff and there's an excellent restaurant.

Bath tubs are tiny. Much of the place is pretty cheap-o considered it's a mid-market priced place. It won't win any awards for comfort - it's not a place with rooms where you'd do any lounging.

Great value but experience just ok.

The location was beautiful and scenic over the lake and I loved being able to grab a Starbucks in the morning.

Maids came in our room twice while we were in our room without knocking. This was a bit sketchy. There was coffee or soda spilled all over the heating unit not cleaned up. Carpet wasn’t vacuumed very well. Some things were run down and not updated.

Close to town

Stayed in older rooms across the road from main hotel. Bathroom tub very dirty as well as the floor. Small fuzzy worms crawling on shower curtain and crawling out from under vanity. Had to ask for toilet paper because no extra roll left in bathroom. Clean towels only left 3 days out of 5! Floors felt gritty and dirty , spiders in corners of the rooms. Should have been at a lower rate !!! Will not stay here again!

Although the location of the hotel was right by everything, the cons outweighed the pros for us. We will choose to stay

It was super convenient walking distance from all the downtown stores and restaurants.

It wasn’t apparent that the room we rented was located in a separate building across the road from the main building. It was kind of disappointing as we didn’t feel as safe because the building was more like a motel than a hotel. There were also a lot of spiders/spiderwebs near the entrance.

A hoax.

We didn’t get to stay there. The rooms were musty, and full of spiders dangling from webs off the ceiling and TV. At least 5 of them. Beds felt musty and the door had no chain-the door jam looked like it had been kicked in. We demanded a full refund and spent another 2 hours finding other lodging.

Not good

My first room balcony area was full of bugs I showed them they sent someone to spray but it made it worse. So he then told them I had to absolutely be moved. Moved to another room for one of the pillow cases to be dirty also spider webs to the point there was a web from the curtain to the bed.. No phones in room so I had to use my cell phone to call the front desk. I called and asked her to come take a look ,to show her the spider web with a very large spider on the curtain along with the spider web. Then on to room three which at this time my anxiety was through the roof. Showed several.s to me they all were not clean enough for me The balcony area was super dirty full of spider webs and needed to be wiped down of bug and spider webs. Over all we were not happy at all and they knew it. In the end she refunded $198 and some change . We thanked her BUT WILL NEVER EVER STAY THERE AGAIN. HOUSE KEEPING WAS Very NICE. THE FOOD WAS OVER PRICED . THE STARBUCKS IS NOT A REAL STARBUCKS ... I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND THE VUE TO ANYONE . OVERPRICE AND MISLEADING.

Do not stay

Was close to my office

I booked not know in was getting a dirty motel room with stains on the chair and dirty floor. It has plywood screwed to the wall to cover old openings. Asked to switch to actual hotel and was told it was the same rate just to tell me it’s not 3 min later and charged me a cleaning fee of the other room because I walked in. Not sure what’s being cleaned for that fee. I tried to get a refund was told no. Unfortunate because many in my company would stay here on an ongoing basis but will now find alternatives.

It was a huge disappointment.

We like the pool and hot tub there; but weren’t able to use it Cause we weren’t able to check in till after 10 pm. We never received our confirmation Text that our room was ready.

They never text me when room was ready. I was put in the motel Accross the street instead of the room I chose which was $40 extra. The floor in the room was dirty, the bed was very uncomfortable, and they gave us two shampoo’s and no conditioner. I also spoke to the manager about not getting to use the pool because it took me till after 10 pm to contact them to see if my room was ready- and they said I could use it the next day. The next morning staff told us we couldn't. So we went home very dissatisfied overall.

The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the amenities were nice. The location was very good.

Honestly not much, the lamp was unplugged, and the shower was a little finicky, but these weren't a big deal.

This property is perfectly named. The VUE - the view of the Wisconsin River is stunning!

The view was exceptional! The private balcony was perfect! The bed was very comfortable. The decorations were lovely.

The toilet was the size of a child's toilet and there was little to no light in the bathroom or near the mirror. Other than that, the room was perfect and we will stay here again!

Rooms were not the cleanest. Sticky bathroom floor, dirty walls. Just minor things. But they were comfortable. I think it's a company that forgets about the little things that people notice. The last time we were there, it was nicer.

I liked the property and I would look forward to visiting again.

The River view from the balcony. I liked the location and the bar/restaurant food and views.

Beads were comfortable and carpets were clean. Furniture was a little worn but nothing terrible. Shower pressure was weak…I dealt with it no problem.
