The accommodations were worst we have had in 15 yrs of experiencing all of Galveston, Tx.
We enjoyed the Hotel side of the facility and their pool area. Hotel staff was great.
Don't be fooled by the name. The condos may be attached to the hotel but don't expect the same experience or customer service. The whole condo building was affected by the hurricane which is tragic. Water intrusion down through the whole complex affecting walls and mold intrusion. Upon arrival there was plastic covering all of the furniture and workers in the unit trying to air the walls out and make it habitable and it was not ready for us at the 4PM check in time. We were advised to "go eat lunch on them" (which we never got reimbursed for) and when we got back they would have it all ready for us. Wall paneling falling off the walls, Chemical odors, hair in the drains, door locks did not work any more on the sliding doors (safety hazard).A repair man did come and install locks but we had to deal with drilling in our room when we just wanted to get on with our vacation. The speakers for the alarms in the building started going off at midnight and kept going till 6 am the first night. Then we were told that there were only 2 units that were being occupied due to all of the damages to the building. They all need renovations causing us to have to wake up to workers in the mornings using saws, hammering etc. The description for this unit says that this unit was large enough for 4 people but a mini pull out couch was truly only big enough for 1, so we went ahead and got a blow up mattress because they do not have any roll away beds etc. Reached out multiple times before driving down to Galveston asking if I needed to find somewhere else to stay due to the Hurricane, and every time I was assured that there was no issues. It boils down to money. Paid in advance as required and they weren't going to loose out on that no matter how crappy of an experience the customer received. We have visited Galveston yearly for 15 years, these were the worst accommodations we have ever delt with.

No locks on the balcony doors, lock on front door difficult to use, old furniture, old appliances, peeling paint, pealing wallpaper. Confusing instructions for key fob retrieval and directions to the washateria.

Kids had fun
Great location and parking access once I figured it out
Two adults, (my adult son) three children 6,7,8. There were no linens for the pull out bed which was really just an extended couch. Not a blanket, pillow, sheet, nothing. It was just uncomfortable. One small trash can in the bathroom, single cup coffee maker. I could have prepared for all of this but have never had to before. Your booking process and communication was ridiculous - too many cooks and EVERY email I got from Vacasa went to a “wrong link” I purchased the extended stay but got locked out. Overall I’ve rented many properties all over the world and your communication process is the most confusing I have experienced. Simultaneous emails from different parties and an app too. I didn’t know this was a Vacasa unit until I got a text from them which I thought was spam. Threats of $500 for the fob is probably a reaction to experience but a bit over the top. On that subject, in the myriad of directions I was never told what to do with the fob on leaving but assumed i should place it back in the mailbox where I got it which is what I did. I won’t do this again.

Very disappointed
Design was cute. Washer And dryer cleaned very well. Had lots of towels and pillows. Apartment was pretty. Nice appliances and decent dishes and cookware.
We were offered early check-in. But When arrived early keys were not available. Had to wait a long time to be able to check And wait for someone to come and get us the keys. Did not end up getting the early check-in due to their mix-up. Lock codes on the door are very long and extremely difficult To complete and get the door open. We had to try multiple times every time coming back. The hallway after getting off the elevators was loaded with decorations, blankets, lights, fake plants That I assumed were for decorating or updating rooms. They were on the floor for more than two days while we were there, which seemed very unprofessional. Hallway going to our room looked very creepy and outdated. The wood slating that looks out to the parking lot Desperately needs to be painted and Had paint peeling off. The doors to the rooms were faded and needed to be painted. I did not realize that due to this. Being a third-party rental this is a no way connected to the hotel and the free breakfast that is usually offered is not offered. The private entrance that was advertised is just an entrance separate from the hotel's normal entrance. But not specific for yourself or anyone who is in those third-party condos. So you still have to go through the hotel, Just from the back instead of the front where is the valet. I would never rent through this place again.Because we paid so much and looking back on it. After seeing friends who rented actually through the hotel, they ended up paying less and their rooms were very cute and they had more options than we had. It was crazy to see a silicon wristband with the name of the hotel. If taken you would be charged five hundred dollars according to their policy. Found out also if there was any issues with the room or toilets backing up. Or anything we could not even call the hotel. Since this is a third party rental . Lesson learned.. Check the website I am renting from in the future to make sure this is actually through the hotel..

Horrible!!!!!
The balcony view
Room needed a GOOD cleaning. Everything is worn out and old, including the bed & pillows. Drapes were old & broken . Carpet was dirty, smelled needs to be replaced . I wouldn’t stay there again if it was FREE!

Great weekend getaway with great view.
The condo was very nice with a great view. It was the perfect place for us to stay for our son's wedding. The condo has a full eat in kitchen with a washer and dryer located in a closet, a cozy livingroom with a balcony overlooking the Gulf of Mexico, a nice bathroom with a large sliding glass door shower, the bedroom has a very comfortable king-size bed, a walk in closet, and another balcony overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. It was a great place with lots of security that made you feel safe during your stay as well.
2 minor inconveniences: The table lamp in the livingroom that is closest to the balcony is missing its switch. The bedside table lamp closest to the closet wasn't working.
