An EASY top 5 place we've EVER stayed!
The location was EXACTLY what we needed! Miles away from any town, in the mountains, beside a beautiful creek. Once we got there on Wednesday we didn't move our car again until Sunday when we left. The yurt, hot tub, and grounds were VERY clean! The staff contact I had gave us an early check-in and late check-out and all I had to do was ask. We didn't want to leave. The kitchen had everything we needed. All we needed to bring was food and condiments. The appliances were nice and the Kuerig with a nice variety of K-cups was a bonus! The living room had a very comfortable couch that my wife spent most of her time there on and I had a nice leather chair to set in. The internet speed is impressive considering the rural location. Each of the 3 TVs has DISH Network but we only used the one in the living room. We brought our Fire Stick and had no issues using it for streaming. We just had to use the DISH remote for volume and turn the TV on and off. Even though we had taken our Christmas tree down before New Year we loved that they still had a tree inside and Christmas lights outside! We used the tree as our nightlight. The bed was very comfy! I usually start hurting after a couple of nights in a strange bed but not here. We didn't use the twin beds room. The bathroom, especially the big walk-in shower was very nice! The hot tub was sooooo nice on these old bones! I got in there twice every day and sat there and watched the creek. The sound of the creek rolling by the kitchen and living area windows is so calming. One night it rained and the sound of it on the roof added to the creek sound. We slept a good 8 hours every night. Sunday morning there was a very light snow falling and it was a beautiful drive back over Wayah Bald toward home. We will most definitely return! Thank you to the WHOLE staff!
The heat pump was the only detraction. Only one night was it colder than the heat pump could keep up with. They are what they are and I'm sure they'd have natural gas if a line was available to them. There was a moveable space heater we could move wherever we needed it and plenty of blankets. Other than that it was an AWESOME stay!

Nice get-away in a relaxing location with all the amenities in the kitchen and TV availability
nice location, private with good separation from other yurts. Nice to have a land line since there was no cell signal.
the sound of the rivers were a bit louder than expected....solved that by wearing earplugs to bed

More lighting in the kitchen area - difficult to see early in the morning.
