Great, unique hotel with interesting history!

Fabulous older building right on the square. Staff were superb at looking after us and recommending restaurants - including a real French one (chef is French) and a pizza place with best pizza I have had in this country. I am English (American citizen) and have lived here for 30 years. Restaurant on site was reasonably priced.

All good - no complaints.

Cute Little Hotel in a Cute Little Town

It was a cute boutique hotel in the middle of a cute, small southern town. Helpful staff, extremely comfortable beds… it had everything we needed.

The bathroom wasn’t completely clean, so that was mildly disappointing.

I’ll stay elsewhere next time in Greenwood.

Bed was comfortable. Room was very clean but dated.

Lots of road noise outside our room. AC unit made too much noise. Sounded like someone was trying to open our room door when air came on.

A very nice stay.. I would stay again.

Did not have the breakfast. The staff was super friendly. They first put me in the handicap accessible room, which was fine, but the door would not lock so they moved me to a better room with a locking door. The room was lovely and the Inn is very historic and beautiful.

The only negative about this stay was the noisy AC. Very loud when on and too quiet when off.

Great stay in the low country

Unfortunately the restaurant was being renovated, but, they had sweet rolls & coffee in lobby....which were delicious. Our hotel was located in downtown area. It was Floer & Plant Festival & we were able to walk to all venues. Loved our stay!!!!

I continue to enjoy my stays at the Inn on the Square!

The location, the size, the ambience, enjoyed the breakfast, but no longer included in price of stay.

Some amenities no longer included, but still think it is a good value.

It was ok and the staff was professional and courteous.

The room & breakfast was good.

Thus hotel used to be a boutique hotel. It used to be pet friendly have a beautiful lobby filled with plants and the staff not only took time to meet everyone, but remembered the people they met. Breakfast was complimentary if you were a guest. Now no more pets, no more complimentary breakfast, the lobby has lost some its splendor.

It's in the middle of renovations? Staff very welcoming and friendly.

The options for breakfast were very good. Staff very friendly and location perfect. The lobby has lots of comfortable seating and the Fox and Hound offered a good selection of libations and food.

The pillows on the bed offered no support and were thin and flat. One pillow better than the other 3 offered on the king size bed, but still subpar. Some towels were thin and fraying. The room was old and tired, bathroom could do with a refresh, and the view was of the flat rooftop of the banquet room, kitchen, and other meeting rooms. They were unable to offer us a different room for all five nights, so we had no choice but they did try. Walls thin and you could hear everything, including the trains that run all hours.

Booked with free breakfast but had to pay first day. The checkin desk gave me vouchers for 2nd day, but couldn’t refund it’s day.

I have always liked this hotel but it was sold and I’m not impressed with some of the changes

The hotel seems to have lost its southern charm. It smelled of bug spray. Breakfast has always been included but that has been changed to 10.00 per person. where are the pastries they always put out?

Breakfast was cooked to order with a wide variety of choices. Several restaurants and bars within walking distance.

Nice, but some issues

Very nice looking older building , the staff is super friendly. Breakfast is great.

Our 3rd time staying here over the last 3 years. It's getting a little run down and could use a refresh. My wife had issues with the mattress and said she found herself rolling towards me. There was a screw sticking out of the wall board where a door stopper had apparently broken off. The alarm clock was off an hour and I could not figure out how to change it. I needed an extra outlet anyway, so just unplugged it. The water pressure in the shower was low, like many chain hotels, but at times went to a dribble. You need to depress the elevator button on the 2nd floor for a while to get it to work. A lot of small things, but when you add them up... We do like the Inn, but will probably try one of the chains on our next trip. A refresh would definitely change our minds.

The elevator and the interior look junky in the lobby ceiling in our room was peeling the shower was weird only one door so water splashed everywhere the refrigerator sat on the floor the 2nd night our keys to the room did not work u could hear ALLLLLL the traffic
