The location is fantastic!

The ability to be right on the gulf side of the island and walk out to a private beach was amazing. Walking distance to restaurants and the lighthouse.

They had a big Masonic group staying there. In the adjoining room to ours, the men had their tv on all night and you could hear it through the walls. When they checked out, I was finally able to get a good night’s sleep. They need some sort of dehumidifier for the rooms, the floor was wet and nothing would dry in the room. Bathroom was very small. The room smelled of disinfectant/bleach mixed with mildew. The cupboard with dishes had a strong odor of old paint. We usually don’t spend a lot of time in our room when on vacation, so the location to the beach made up for it. The bed was okay, had a small couch, tv and laminate booth style dining area with a small kitchenette with a mini fridge. We ate out most meals because it was not conducive to cooking. No coffee pot in the room! But they did have coffee in the office till 11:00 am. I won’t stay there again, but I will go back to SGI! It’s a beautiful island on the forgotten coast.

It's on the beach.

Didn't service room , had to ask ,was told no one on site that day that could. Had to wait til next day.

Need to correct these problems especially the elevator before I'll stay again

What breakfast. No body said anything. Close to everything. Enjoyed talking to people .The air-conditioned worked great.

The tub wasn't very clean. Had to borrow a plunger to use in sink and tub. The elevator doesn't work and I asked for a bottom room because I have bad knees but the rooms were full except on top. Ice machine out front didn't work. In my opion the rooms are to high .

Enjoyed our time. Beach was awesome.

Close to beach. Good value. Staff was wonderful.

Pool was not very clear. Rooms were clean, but are not deep cleaned to often.

It was a fun family get away but nothing to spectacular

The closeness to the beach was very nice.

I had to go and buy a broom and dustpan to combat some of the sand in the room.

I loved my stay other then BJs

Umm I didn't know there was breakfast but I would have loved to of had a broom for all the sand in my room. Other then that the stay was great

BJ's restaurant added a 18.02 tip on my carry out order because I did not tip and when I confronted the manager his response was that I tipped them. When I infact did not! My family did not even eat in the restaurant. Horrible HORRIBLE experience having a restaurant steal from nyt family. Will never EVER eat there again nor will any friend or family of ours. I've made the incident as public as possible with screenshots and emails on everything.

The Buccaneer Inn is a perfect stop if you are anywhere near St George Island.

This property is located right on the gulf on St George Island. Under new ownership, the rooms are being upgraded. Diane, the desk representative is extremely friendly and genuinely will help to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Even though the pool is not heated, we enjoyed swimming to cool off after a long day of driving.

The bathroom sink drained slowly, but in fairness to the staff, I did not bring this to their attention until after we checked out.

You can't beat the location. It's right in the middle of everything and has a great pool.

Location was great, convenient to everything.

The pool was ice cold, invst in a heater ! Room smelled musty. Appliances were very dated, need to upgrade. Bathroom could use a remodeling.

Exceptional

Close to beach and fishing pier.The weather was great,

Left early because of hurricane coming into Florida.We didn't know if we would be in lots of traffic going home.

Little gem on St George

Location is excellent. Swimming pool lovely. Room was a good size.

Metal clothes rack and toilet paper holder were rusted. No working fan in the bathroom. No beach chairs or umbrellas.

one of the best vacations I’ve ever had!

We were able to bring our puppy, closeness to beach and central location for most things on island

Some of the guests, but that was not the fault of the inn…lol

Superb

Loved the beachside and the view from the top. The staff was very kind and helpful. We really enjoyed the pool and also the deck area watching the sun rise. I like that they had trash cans every few feet so the area was easy to keep clean. If you're looking for a decent place to stay for a few days where you're right on the beach, this is a great option. Restaurant within walking distance. Again, the staff was great. I think it's important to mention it again because kindness/customer service seems so rare in many places. We enjoyed meeting and interacting with the staff as well as the other visitors.

It was a minor inconvenience to take the used towels downstairs to trade out for new ones each day. However, the staff was very helpful and friendly at every turn. No good water pressure in the rooms ....but it's good and hot! Parking was tight - but there is additional parking right across the road.

Lodging at the buccaneer inn was a pleasant visit with beautiful beach front views and quick access

I enjoyed the proximity to the beach and walking distance for mornings and evenings out. I also appreciated being able to travel with my dog.

The noise level was high and smoking areas were not designated.
