A relaxing peaceful stay in a lovely resort

Relaxing, beautiful friendly staff, lovely rooms- there was a larger swimming pool you could actually swim in, not shown in as open to public I think. A great addition

Luxury, history, and gastronomy in a picturesque setting offering top standard of service

This was the splurge stay for our week-long trip in Sicily. The property is beautiful, the rooms are works of art, the food is spectacular, and the staff are helpful and very professional. You park under an arbor of trained vines - I am sure our rental car never spent the night in a nicer place! The grounds are lovely, with a pool, hot tub, and garden, and the location is historic for any WW2 history buffs out there. Very short drive to Siracusa for restaurants.

Leaving. As a resort, the property discourages guests from bringing outside food or drink onto the premises, but the very well-stocked mini bar is free so no complaints :)

Beautiful and peaceful

If you’re looking for a quiet relaxing location, this is it. It’s approx. 15 mins to Syracuse by car. Breakfast was delicious with an assortment of home cooked pastries set amongst beautiful old buildings and garden. Rooms were well decorated and very clean. There’s one restaurant on site with fine dining. The staff were very helpful however I felt it lacked some atmosphere.

For the size of the room, I would suggest king beds instead of queen size.

Exceptional

Exceptional property! A little oasis in the middle of fruit and olive trees, only a short drive to Syracuse. Our room was spacious and comfortable and had a lovely private garden. The staff are friendly and attentive, including toasting your bread in the morning and making a granita :) The owner is lovely too - takes time out of her day to speak to each guest. The food is delicious. I highly recommend having dinner in the restaurant.

Oasis of elegance and beauty

Absolutely wonderful hotel. We felt we were in an oasis of peace, beauty and cleanliness which is even more important nowadays with the current pandemic. Lots of fresh air and space, a fantastic pleasure pool and gorgeous garden to fill your eyesight with beauty. The staff were great, the owner was welcoming and you can see she has a great eye for elegance in every little detail around the hotel. We ate in the hotel restaurant most evenings and the food was delicious every time. They make their own olive oil which was lovely. Easy to reach from Cantania Airport, around 40 mins drive. The hotel is only a 10 min drive to the beach and there are historical towns to explore a 20 min drive.
