Beautiful view, lovely host family, comfortable room (with ac). Far from attractions, come with cash and a rented motorc

The hosts are very nice and go out of their way to help. The room, while simple, is nice and clean. The air conditioning worked good and saved me in the cold.

Its very difficult to get around and make plans. You can rent a debilitated bicycle from the homestay to get around, but it barely moves up the muddy road and you kinda just walk it any uphill. Sightseeing is far, best option is to rent a boat tour (the full day one the homestay offers is great) but unless you rent a tour guide or something, you will struggle. Food is a bit different than usual, while it was delicious they only served dinner. One morning i asked for breakfast and they serve pancakes, but i was hungry daytime for the rest of the days.

Pleasant enough

Great building with comfortable rooms even tho the beds were very very hard...the water was hot and the aircon worked well. The ease of access to the building from the road was much better than others in Pac Ngoi village....no steep staircase. The views from the dining room and balconies was wonderful...overlooking the rice paddies and lake in the distance. The food was very good...typical simple breakfast and a big spread for dinner. The place was new and clean and the bicycles for rent worked well. The day trip on the boat was very nice...we really enjoyed it.

The staff here speaks almost no English....but even using google translate we found them to be very un-co-operative in helping us. They kept insisting that the only way out of town was by private car....even though we were sure there were other options. We ended up visiting another homestay called Babe Lakeview Homestay where the staff also spoke little English but were very willing to help us book a taxi to Cho Ra and organized us bus tickets from there to our next destination. The Ming Quang staff did not let us know that we could rent bicycles from there so we ended up renting those from another guesthouse. I would rate this place much higher if the staff was more willing to accommodate foreign guests...

Az igazi homestay

Nagyon szep helyen van, az etelek remekek voltak.

Utepites volt a szallas elott, nagyon zajos volt. Az agyak nagyon kemenyek.

Off the beaten track beautiful homestay

Awesome views from the homestay. Comfortable room with AC. Tasty meals prepared by the family.

Communication was very limited as the family speak very little English.

Staff is so friendly! Best value for money, it has all you need, the view is insane, they serve excellent food!

Breathtaking views and a wonderful home stay!

Minh Quang home stay is set in such a beautiful natural setting of Ba Be lake. Incredible natural vistas everywhere you look. It’s clean, comfortable and hosts were very hospitable! Food was amazing.

The room was very clean and with a nice view. Mosquito net is a big plus! They offer great dinner and breakfast. It is a relaxing place. Towels are provided and there’s soap in the shared bathroom. We parked our motorbike in front. Very friendly host :) recommend

Lovely homestay with great view and amazing food

The homestay is very nice and the hosts are super friendly and welcoming. They also have an own boat and we’re super flexible with the lake tour we did. We enjoyed our stay and loved the food. The view from there on the lake is also amazing. We would come again.

Nice place

Great view on the idyllic lake scenery. Very good mosquito net. But there weren’t much insects anyways. The bathroom was clean. Just depends on the guests staying there. Leave it cleaner than you found it. Food was great. Breakfast 50, lunch 50, dinner 100. People speak englisch. It’s possible to rent a canoe or go on a boat trip.

Homestay with big common room and nice view.

The common room has a nice voew over the rice fields directly in front of the house. Dinner dish was ok with many different things which were shared with the other guests. It was cold during the night and we could get an additonal blanket from another room. There was a station we got free water anytime.

Bed was hard.

Great place to rest and relax in Ba Be!

The views were incredible, particularly from the second floor dining area. The staff was welcoming and friendly and the meals, especially dinner, were delicious.

The staff could have been more knowledgeable about the activities they offered, specifically the day hike (difficulty, what we would see, length of time, terrain, etc.)

Amazing couple of days, super beautiful, worth going.

Everything was super clean, the family where incredibly friendly and helpful. The homestay and its views are beautiful. Food was very good.

Good location nearby the lake and places to eat. Very friendly staff. Gave me private room with double instead of dorm for the same price because there were not a lot of guests. Very happy with the customer service!

Bed was quite hard, but didn't expect a lot for the price. Shower room was quite small.

- Awesomely delicious and varied dinners with large portions. - Friendly and kind family. - Complimentary water, tea and coffee 24/7. - Scenic veranda view of Ba Be Lake and rice fields - not lakeside, yet beautiful and peaceful. - Exceptiomal value.

Wonderfull hospitality and great food in beautiful surroundings .

Lovely genuine homestay in the home of a delightful friendly couple, Hue is a very inventive cook, different choice for every night and breakfast. we had some of the best food in our 3 week trip of the North here, Considering the very reasonable price the place was perfect, clean, fabulous food beautifull surroundings on the lake ,and Hue's husband.. sorry I've forgotten his name !!. took us for a 6 hour bout trip to see the waterfall (fabulous lunch) and the cave, It was a great place to spend 3 nights unwinding and enjoying total peace and quiet and the fabulous view from the recreation/ dining area.

The beds were very hard but we got used to them and it's good for your back!!!

Careless staff

View from the shared terrace is nice. Food is good.

Owners don't really care much and communication is almost impossible unless it's to sell you something (tours, meals, etc.), when they suddenly become good at English. We booked a "Family room with balcony" that did NOT have any balcony and they just smiled and pretended not to understand. Booking tried to open a complain and was also unable to communicate with them - Booking did offer us a partial refund, though. The restaurant on the upper floor does have a nice view. Mind that the last 10 km of road are in really bad condition.

The owner makes good vegetarian food and is super nice. I recommend renting a kayak from them and spend a day on the lake with it

The food was really good, everything they did, was simple but very, very delicious! The view is beautiful! This region is still very genuine. Hope they stay like this. Love it!
