Sehr laut durch Autobahn und Bahnlinie in der Nähe. Zimmer eher düster. Wenig Komfort, aber zum Übernachten zweckmäßig und ausreichend

Prima voor 1 nacht

De ligging is ideaal, vlak voorbij de Gotthardtunnel. Prima voor 1 nachtje op doorreis richting Italie. Fijn dat er ook een restaurant is.

Het rook niet heel erg fris in het hotel, maar in de kamer leek de geur verdoezeld door een enorm sterke citroengeur

Sehr gute Lage für Durchreise. Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Toller Familienbetrieb. Das Essen war superfein.

Gerne wieder, war bei unseren Besuchen OK.

Gut gelegene Unterkunft an der A2, sehr saubere Zimmer, einfach gehalten. Personal ist freundlich und bemüht um den Gast. Man fühlt sich wohl und gut bedient im Baldi; war unser 5. Besuch, nicht unser Letzter.

We've stayed at the Hotel Baldi on many occasions over the past 12 years or so. It's a great little place, which as been run by the same family for years. It has everything you need for a short stay -the rooms are clean and comfortable, there's parking on site and the food is good. It's excellent value as well. We'll be visiting again soon.

There's nothing to not like.

Superb

The room was quiet and well equipped. The bathroom very small, but provided with everything needed. Although the structure was closed on the arrival day, the owner provided us with the booked room, since Booking allowed us to book it. In the end we probably did not get exactly the online booked room, but that was not a problem for us.

It should be considered that tourists coming from abroad rarely have the possibility to make phone calls in Switzerland at a reasonable price. Moreover my provider for technical reasons was making my calls abroad appear as from an “unknown/hidden number” and the structure was not accepting such calls. I had to phone the owner once arrived (since the structure was closed), but could not and in the end I had to stop people on the road to ask for help. Not the ideal situation. Not really a complaint, but just sharing to improve on this side.

Very helpful & a good place to stop en route to Italy

Arrived early & was booked in after lunch about 3 hours before due & was shown how to let ourselves out because we wanted to leave about 3am. We only ate lunch & it was excellent. Perfectly positioned the south side of the Gotthards tunnel close to the motorway

A good stop off point after the Gotthard Pass

Staff was great, rooms were okay (no aircon) but the atmosphere was good. Not much to do or see in the village except an expensive cable car ride Breakfast was the usual continental fare.

Exceptional

Easy to find with exceptionally friendly and considerate staff who went above and beyond to help us. We ate at their restaurant and had nice food and a decent breakfast. The shower in the bathroom was fabulous, hot and powerful. Parking was easy and free.

Some people may not like the location between a main road and railway line, but it did not bother us.

Perfect for 1 night to break your travel journey

Perfect location just after the Gotthard Tunnel so was a good place to break our journey.

A family-run place in the Swiss alps that can make feel home any traveler

Great location on the way to Zurich. Easy free parking (also next to a petrol station). Great home made food. The owners are nice people who likes to chat and interact with the guests. Fast free internet. Rooms were clean and nice. Rich breakfast freshly prepared. The hotel is also a public cafe/bar so you find locals having a coffee/breakfast and chatting. In a word where the big hotel chains dominate, I love to stop in family run hotel like Hotel Baldi.

The bathroom is a bit small.

Close to the highway but in a quiet village Possibility to dine and good breakfast We had a big family room with 2 bedrooms actually

Not much to do around but if you use it as just stop over it’s perfect
