amazing place hidden in a small village

The staff was very helpful. Breakfast was very tasty - it uses only local products. The place was very quiet, a lot of green place. Really a good place to charge your batteries. It takes around 20 minutes drive to get to the Apulia beaches.

Good room, comfortable temperature, confortable beds. Good shared spaces, everything available in the kitchen for meal preparation, dishwasher. A matter of civilry to take care of own dishes in and out dishwasher, but no problem with remainig guests. Shared fridge, but went well. Very good food for breakfast, it is really only veg.

Noise in bathroom while lights on. After turning off it took quite some time until it stopped. During the night, if someone uses the wc, it might disturb the rest that are sleeping. Suggest to decrease the timer. No spa/ massage availability if not anticipate the reservation with some time prior the stay.

Less than an hour from Porto, Guimaraes, Viana do Castelo and the Atlantic beaches.

Naturena is an integrative and holistic medicine clinic, an organic-vegan restaurant and store, and, finally, an eco-hotel and spa. If you arrive and the gate is closed, you need to call to find the code to enter for opening. When exiting, simply approach the gate and the opening is automatic. The staff are very efficient, polite and available for advice and suggestions. The first building you come across is the clinic with acceptance also for the hotel. At about 300 meters there is the hotel with the swimming pool, and the parking, while at about 200 meters there are two wooden bungalows. The roads are naturally paved, with the sole exception of the two bungalows, in the final section of the road. You have to park the car just few meters before the bungalows. I stayed in the bungalow, all made of wood. It is complete for two people: covered veranda, living room with kitchen, bathroom and double bedroom. The space is not huge, but even in case of rain you can feel good inside, or, if the temperature is pleasant, even outside under the veranda. The kitchen is complete for two people, with all utensils, a refrigerator, and two plates for cooking. There is no oven or microwave. There is a water boiler to have hot water for infusions or tea in one minute. The table can be extended to eat. No chairs but two stools. The chairs are outside on the veranda with a small table. The bathroom has a spacious shower, but the rest is a bit tight. In the bedroom there is no wardrobe but with various hangers and a long shelf above the head of the bed, everything can be sorted quite well. There is a television and an air conditioner. The wifi does not work well: maybe the distance of the bungalows from the antenna, maybe the days with a lot of wind, clouds and even a little rain, but I had problems connecting. Near the two bungalows there is a small pond with water flowers. You are therefore immersed in the vegetation, greenery and flowers.

Mainly peaceful and delightful retreat with lovely staff and super vegan food 👍

Breakfast was amazing and so good to have just vegan choices too! 👍

Building site noise, this could have been avoided around breakfast and lunch times as it spoilt the ambiance and peaceful setting. Or better still have this work commencing when the centre closes for customers.

Relaxing stay surrounded by nature.

Very nice place. Cosy cabin with front porch and view. Quiet and relaxing. Little fridge and kitchenette for preparing your own meals. Nice healthy vegan breakfast. Friendly staff. Small swimming pool and outside tennis court.

WiFi did not work well inside the cabin. Steep dirt road to parking.

we would have liked to have normal pillows with removable Covers for Cleaning. we might got insects bites from it.

Fabulous

We went especially to this accommodation because it is an organic farm with organic food restaurant. Unfortunately, they closed the restaurant the evening we were there because of a conference next day. We were kindly given food from their tunnel, but we were expecting more. We loved the pool.

A closed restaurant...otherwise the accommodation was good!
