Horrible and waste of money. Please make note of the photos uploaded with my review are clicked during our stay giving

There was nothing to be liked about this property except the owner is selling it based on next to train station but the reality is too inside and very far from main attractions

Everything. It is very old place renovated several years ago (which owner accepted himself during our conversation) and owner is still using same photos as of when it was renovated several years ago. Also the photos on booking.com are fake/misleading and there is no view. Reality is that it is run down property and not good for families or for that matter anyone who is paying. The interiors, bedding, towels even the bathroom mats are old and torn and haven’t been replaced for a very long time. The appliances are outdated with no dishwasher. We had to get the fridge replaced because the one in the room was not working at all and owner was first ready to accept and finally after pushing him, still delayed it by 2 days. Towel racks full of dust and never cleaned. The place felt like a dungeon with only two windows on roof. The wooden floor was creeping all the time creating a very bad noises.

Very easy to get keys from lock box, washing machine was great, very tidy and clean with washing detergent to use. Train station is 6 min walk, handy if you have an early morning departure. Felt very safe, lovely host to deal with. We will be back again, travelling from Australia 🇦🇺

Great location, nice staff and uncomfortable beds

The property was walking distance to the train station and Grand Canal which was great since we did not have to hop on a water taxi after a long day of traveling . The air conditioner worked great. The staff was so friendly and kind. The bathrooms(2 full) were clean and modern. Washer machine but no dryer which we found typical in Italy. They also had detergent there which was so helpful.

The beds were very uncomfortable as well as the pull out couch.

Very good

Nice duplex apartment close to the train station. The bathroom is on two floors, which was very convenient. The kitchen had utensils, a frying pan, oil and spices and much more for cooking meals.

There are no windows in the kitchen, so there was very little light. The sofa in the living room is terribly uncomfortable, we had a backache after sleeping. The stairs to the second floor creaked loudly when walking.

The hosts were very nice and helpful and the apartment was sizable and near the train station.

The hosts were very nice and very helpful and it was very conveniently located near the train station. It seemed to be in a mostly safe and secure area.

There were a few dirt or dusty parts of the apartment. Everything was really very good though . . . except the bed, sheets, comforter, and towels looked and felt like they were from 1999. They were very old and uncomfortable and there were surprisingly few pillows available. Otherwise it was good.

Well worth the money

Host is easy to contact, complete easy instructions provided. Location is near the train station, near grocery store and restaurants, complete instruction inside the house, complete kitchen utensils needed by a family.

The stairs should be fixed, it is squeaking everytime you walk on the stairs.

Lovely, quiet apartment in a great area of Venice

The customer service from Fabiano and colleague was exemplary - just couldn't have been more helpful - including letting us leave our bags before check in and after check out the next day. The location is excellent - it's about 5 mins walk from the train station but in a very quiet, residential area. There are loads of bars, cafes, restaurants nearby as it's Venice so there's always something nearby! It's in the Jewish Quarter and near Dorsoduro - both great areas of Venice and about 15 mins walk to Rialto Bridge and 20 to St Mark's Square. The apartment was a good size with two showers - one on the ground floor, next door to the kitchen and lounge and then an en-suite to the bedroom upstairs. Beds were comfortable and everything was very clean. There's also a great pick up spot 5 mins away if you want to get the water taxi to the airport.

A beautiful, enjoyable stay...would gladly come to same place again!

We had recently really nice and absolutely enjoyable stay in Lagoon Apartment. I was with my 2 sons, and we are more than satisfied, would definitely recommend to anyone. There is plenty of space, the whole apartment is very clean and Fabiano is probably the friendliest host I have met on our travels. Location is good, we used to explore Venice on foot, but for those who are into Vaporetto (a kind of public transport on water) rides - the Ferrovia station is very close (and Fabiano will explain you everything that you need to know about most important lines). Be prepared for a lot...a lot of tourists and I really suggest shopping entry tickets online to avoid queues - this is Venice ;)

We like the stay!!

The apartment was exceptionally clean and the location was just 15 minutes walk from Stazione di Venezia Santa Lucia. The place is beautiful and comfortable for family of 4. The host greeted us when we arrive and provide us with valuable tips.

The host did not top up the coffee and tea bag.

the pictures shown of the apartment are not always pictures of the apartment you think you have reserved. Some apartments are dark with just tiny windows. Some have a small terrace and have more daylight. the outdoor pictures are taken somewhere in Venice, not in the neighborhood. there is no city view.

Great stay would recommend it.

Big appartment, perfect airco, 2 bathrooms. Host Fabiano very friendly and helpfull. We could check out a bit later so it was perfect.

Rooms are a bit dark, little more light would be better. And dont forget anti mosquito stuff. It had some nets in the windows but I guess they fly in the door.
