One of the best I’ve stopped in

It is the perfect hotel to getaway from the noisy city. Room looks new and fresh, quiet area, comfortable bed. Hotel managers were the best, extremely polite and attentive (thank you again). Spacious parking. Lovely small city around. All in all, will definitely come back for exploring Geres park.

Everything was great. If just being nit-picky, there is a big gate stopper in the middle of the entrance to the parking, mind it if you have slim tyres on your car :)

Very spacious room with a great view. The building renovation keeping old facades and details. Personnel from the hotel were all very warm and friendly

The only thing I didn't like was that in my room the water in the shower was going through the whole bathroom. I complaint and they changed me room that didn't have this issue. Nothing else to point out

Hotel Fantastic Velga

The rooms are spacious, clean and well stocked. It's location is fantastic right by the River Limia and very close to the bridge. The outside garden is beautiful and inside, there is a nice bar area with a pool table (free to use). It is great value for money and it is one of the best 3 start hotels we have stayed in. The staff are excellent and helpful + multilingual. To top that off, there is even free car parking (outside) too. This is a lovely hotel in a warm friendly town. Highly recommended!

This was the best hotel by far of our stay and all were good/ excellent Great room with a view ,and quality furnishings. Quiet,what a fab hotel ! Breakfast was great too and staff really helpful Well done and thank you

We paid extra for a garden view room. It was big , and had a huge bed. The view over the garden to the river was lovely. We had drinks from the bar in the garden every evening. Breakfasts were very good, freshly squeezed orange juice, and eggs to order if you wanted.

Car access by the usual route was a problem due to roadworks but the alternative, once they told us, was fine. (Last right just before the bridge, and drive past Poetas Hotel) Noise was not an issue.

Superb boutique style modern hotel in a fully refurbished stone built property in beautiful grounds

The very modern, well decorated interior throughout the hotel. The bedroom was very large, spacious and had double window aspect overlooking the beautiful gardens which led down to the equally beautiful river side. Wooden internal window shutters completed the ambience. The bar was inviting and well stocked. Breakfast was excellent too.

There was nothing not to like. We had no criticisms at all.

good location, free parking, good room size and overall a pleasant hotel

walls were quite thin and we were unlucky to be there in the same time with a large and noisy group, who were very loud the whole night and also did not respect any anti-covid rules on premise. thanks to the staff for offering free breakfast for the inconvenience, but this did not fully compensate the lack of rest and the unpleasant atmosphere created by the loud group.

A real luxury experience - I wish we had stayed another night at least...

Surprisingly good.. the room was luxurious and the bathroom was excellent.. the provided dressing gowns were comfotable and the bed was very very comfortable.. as this was just about the cheapest place we stayed on our 6 day trip I would say it offers unbelievable value for money.. we will go again..
