Beautiful location, very private and very comfortable; while we’re there the birds were fantastic!

Our family had a great vacation in the Yosemite area. Julie’s place was just what we needed for our family. The home is located within an hour of the park and near enough to town so that shopping and entertainment is easy to reach. The home is very clean and well decorated and is just right for relaxing after a long day hiking. The front porch has comfortable furniture and a grill. There is plenty of room in the yard and you can walk down the winding street and get a glimpse of the stream below. I would definatly recommend this home if you are looking for a quiet place to relax and enjoy all that the area has to offer.

The apartment was comfortable and very quiet. The smartly furnished deck/porch was a wonderful to sip coffee in the morning, as well as wind up your day watching the sunset.
The place had all the amenities we required for our getaway and it was a great jumping off place for our daily forays into Yosemite. it was not far from convenient grocery shopping options, which helped with our food budget. However, some very good dining options were available as well.
Julie was a responsive host, answering the few questions we had during our stay.
We would not hesitate to seek booking this property first the next time coming to the area.

We enjoyed our stay. The unit was comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed. Quiet area and beautiful views. We set up our daughter’s travel crib in the bathroom and closed the pocket door - created a nice dark space for her. Ample outlets for plugging in her sound machine and monitor. Lovely deck and seating area. Would recommend to others!
Thank you

We loved staying in Mariposa at this wonderful and beautiful home. There were so many little touches that made it so perfect. We loved the DVD collection, the string lights and furniture on the deck, the amazing chairs hung from the trees with fairy lights (my favorite place to hang out) and the variety of games! We had such an amazing trip and visited Yosemite while we were there and at at the 1850 restaurant BOTH nights it was so good!
We will definitely be coming back again and staying here!

Wonderfull Week End
My wife, two kids and I spent the long week end of Memorial Day in the property. The house was very pretty, well decorated, clean, quiet, with a great view and great sunset. To watch the sunset at the balcony while having our dinner, was a bless and very pretty. Even the kids were asking us to watch the sunset. We were surrounded by beautiful birds of any color. My kids loved to go around the property and play with the swings and to talk to Robert about the plants and birds. Robert and Julie were great hosts. Robert gave us suggestions for anything we needed and was always available for a chat in the garden. We definitely loved it and plan to go back. Andrea, Ju, Sofia and Pietro

Amazing Spot!
This little rustic bungalow was perfect for our stay close to Yosemite. It's a picturesque property with lots of birds and other wildlife. Right outside historic little town of Mariposa and only about an hour from Yosemite NP. Great space, fast WIFI, sat TV, lots of household needs and very nice owners. Highly recommend this property!

Lovely property
The apartment is exactly like the photographs. Very spacious and clean. All the facilities needed to prepare breakfast, lunch and evening meals are available. Air con and fans help to keep the apartment cool. There are shops, restaurants, a supermarket and laundry in mariposa which is a 10min drive away. The location is very peaceful and we spent each evening watching the sun go down from the garden chairs. Yosemite valley is approx 1hr 15mins drive away so this apartment makes a good base where you have space to relax and unwind after a day of hiking.
The owner is lovey and check-in is via key code so was really easy.
We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend the apartment.

Gem
The setting, location, proximity to town were fantastic. I took my 19 & 21 year old children to celebrate dual graduations gifts. We visited Yosemite each day, shopped at the local stores in Mariposa (10 min) away and went to Oakhurst for swimming and horseback riding. Woke up each morning to wildlife and quiet country! Absolutely will visit again and recommend it to anyone looking for the getaway so many of us need.

Daddy-Daughter Adventure = awesome!
This was the perfect home base for me & my 11-yo daughter, as we annually visit a National Park each summer. The calm and serene surroundings were exactly what we hoped for, after long days of hiking and adventuring. The views were spectacular and the home felt "like home", was cozy and clean and A/C worked well. We especially enjoyed the hammock and porch area to relax in. Highly recommend for 2-3 ppl max!

Great Stay!
My husband I went to Mariposa for a quite weekend away. The house was stocked with everything you could need including a ton of movies and games. We very much enjoyed seeing the deer during our breakfast time on the patio. The house was a perfect size for the two of us. The owners make it very easy to access everything you need while you are there including entry/exit. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a quiet retreat in a lovely home.

Cozy, peaceful and charming
The sweet home is exactly as pictured. It is cozy enough for a family of 3. It was very quiet and relaxing. The home accommodates its guests very well. Downtown Mariposa is about 15 mins away. Yosemite is 1 hour away from the beautiful home. I would definitely rent again.

Loved it!
My fiancee and I stayed for 3 nights at this lovely meadow house on a south and west facing hilltop. The building is adorable with all the amenities and the panoramic views from the deck were of green hillsides and distant ridges. Our original plan was to visit Yosemite for 2 of the days but we were so comfortable and relaxed here that we decided to spend a day just enjoying the property. Much of the time we spent outside relaxing on the awesome deck and enjoying our time away from the rat race. When we went inside for the night we enjoyed the high speed internet and very large Ultra Hi-Def TV DirecTV with Blu-ray player. Our long weekend turned into a bit of a "staycation" and we look forward to visiting the property again someday soon.

Cozy, Quiet, and Naturey
This is a great place to relax and have some quiet time (away from the city life). There are deer roaming around so that was, the least to say, very interesting. My fiance was a little scared of them because she had never really encountered deer before but they were quite friendly.
A plus is that its was good place to stay if also deciding the head to Yosemite a few times during the stay. It was about 1-1 1/4 hours away. Overall, I had a pleasant time here and would probably come again if I decide to go to Yosemite again.
