Mixed experience

The food served in the restaurant was excellent. The selections of wine that we tasted were superb. We popped into the wine shop to taste the olive oil and a sparkling rosè. We came away with purchases of both which were great. The pool area was very quiet and peaceful and the furniture was very comfortable especially the lovely double sofa/beds. Great size pool and lovely vuews of the surrounding vines.

The bedroom and bathroom had some design issues which i wouldn't have expected from this standard of accommodation. There was no dressing table. Only a small area to store one suitcase. There were no USB charging points. The bathroom had no hooks to hang clothes or towels, just a towel rail which was in the shower area. Although we saw other guests with bathrobes at the pool, we had none provided in our room. The most disappointing thing was the breakfast. As this was the last location on our busy but very enjoyable trip to Tuscany I was looking forward to a relaxing breakfast on our balcony as advertised. Unfortunately the food was very poor. It all seemed as if it had been removed from packets. I had pastries in a service station later that morning which were far more tasty and appealing. Having chosen the Buonamico resort especially for its gourmet restaurant and wine it was such a let down.

Absolutely brilliant!

Breakfast was great, you get to choose what you want. Also very nice place to dine. The winery is lovely to have wine tasting and of course buy wines.

It can be difficult to book a table in the restaurant for the same day. It would be nice if guests of the resort can always be accommodated or enjoy room service. Also a small table would have been nice in the room itself. But we had a room for 3 which meant that the sofa was transformed in a bed. That took up quite some extra space.

Good vine, nice wine tasting, nice pool!

We liked the wine tasting, the pool, nice view from the restaurant. We also liked the small village Montecarlo - not to far away.

You couldnt eat any lunch at the vineyard (it says on the homepage that you could), not so much help with the taxi to the vineyard. It was a lot of mosquitos and a lot of mosquitos in the room - we didnt like that..!

Really lovely place to stay not far from Pisa

Lovely accommodation, with a very nice pool. Restaurant was exceedingly good, and their wine is very drinkable.

A hidden gem, peaceful and immaculate.

It's a beautiful and quiet location. The room was spacious and worked really well for our toddler, as the curtains were blackout and the room was well soundproofed. The breakfast served in the room was such luxury! The pool was immaculately clean and never busy. The food in the restaurant was wonderful too! Really hope to be back for another visit in the near future.

The only minor thing was that the spa facilities weren't open but we were well informed of that in advance and realistically with a toddler we wouldn't have had time to use them anyway!

Very comfortable room, clean. Nice and clean pool. Food and view from the restaurant. Staff is friendly (when they are around)

At certain times of the day, there is nobody at the reception, and the restaurant is closed (no service available at all - questions/drinks...) Can be noisy when an event is taking place at the restaurant.

Good place to enjoy before flight back our then you coming Tuscany to Pisa Airport

I liked our room and terrace all was nice clean and was space to enjoy . We was sad that Spa and them own restaurant was closed. But we discovered near them little town and really good restaurant InCucina Montecarlo :) the staff was super good there.

They had really strong air freshener for the corridor.. what was strange, because they are good wine seller, but they use so so strong perfume there.. they needed to be good nous to feel this. Our like my daughter tell that maybe they needed to hide something. But i hope next time then i go back they are change this !

Lovely place and friendly staff. Very quiet location and the room are really nice, with a small private garden.

Late arrival was an issue, but the hotel made a commercial gesture to apologize.

Beautiful & cleans rooms - comfort is top + nice terrace with view over the grape fields

Breakfast is served in your room. Unfortunately really poor breakfast to start the day. When we booked we didn't know the Spa was closed :-(

Highly recommend. Great access to Montecarlo and local wineries.

Such a lovely small, intimate resort with only 11 rooms. The grounds are gorgeous and the space is so relaxing. Rooms are large and luxurious with a great breakfast served each morning in the rooms at a time requested by guests, we had two rooms and were able to eat together in the larger room. The outdoor patio off the room and large sliding glass door offering a view of the vineyard was lovely. Our stay exceeded expectations and I would highly recommend.

The mattress wasn't the most comfortable despite an otherwise lovely and comfortable room.

Good start in our vacation but price/performance ratio is not the best

Great Pool and relaxing time. Food in the restaurant was brilliant.

There was a permanent smell coming out of the sink from the bathroom (shower). The WIFI was more or less not working or very unstable. For an accommodation like this resort this should not be the case.

Nice location with pool and poolservice. Good restaurant on site. Friendly staff and large rooms.

WiFi very poor, you had to log in every 10 min. Breakfast served only in the room, but not enough chairs in the room or the terrace to sit on. Poolwater quite cold.

The location is beautiful, isolated between two villages.Big and confortable rooms, with nice view.

Rooms are just under the restaurant, so it's noisy until 12 pm. Hotel's restaurant is not just for guests and is too expensive for what they offer. Good food, but tiny portions. For a glass with 50ml of wine fhey asked 7 Euro. Breakfast is not very varied, also with tiny portions, they will deliver food in room.

Brilliant stay in a hidden gem of a location- fantastic restaurant.

Beautiful rooms, modern, clean and comfortable. Lovely pool with attentive service. We really enjoyed the tasting menu- the food was fantastic, and the wine also. Lovely touch with breakfast brought to the bedroom however would have liked more coffee!

Our rooms were wonderful with full facilities and comfort as well as great views and privacy. The breakfast brought to our room was first class including the choices on the menu made the day before. The pool was glorious in the heat and so close that it was easy to dip in and out, the spa is currently closed but the facilities when it is open again look great and right next to the pool. Would definitely return

The restaurant is closed on a Tuesday, however staff booked us a wonderful restaurant in the village 5 mins drive away.

Wow!!! unique place, beatiful decoration and view. Room has small balcony that just few meters from a wineyard. The resturant was very good. The room is big,clean and comfy

The air condition was noisy, since we didn't need it, it wasn't an issue

There was a smell of sewage in the room and the floor, the A/C wasn’t working and some issues around cleaning. When kindly brought to the attention of the receptionist at the end of the stay we got an “ ok thanks” zero apologies ! Would have been courteous to at least not charge us the 6 euro wine especially after hearing the complaint and seeing the pic of the spider web and spider in the room. I really didn’t want to leave a comment on booking and tried to share constructive remarks to the receptionist but she didn’t really seem to care
