Отличный дом за свои деньги

За свою цену очень хороший дом, 2 полноценных санузла с душем. Свой маленький дворик. При заезде было чисто. На кухне есть всё необходимое, и микроволновая печь и кофеварка, полноценная газовая печь. 3 кондиционера. Интернет есть, не очень быстрый, но хватает. Гамак и кресло-качалка очень понравились нашему сыну. До парка с Зоопарком можно дойти пешком, метров 500 всего. Рядом есть аптеки и кафе. Дом расположен на оживлённой улице, поэтому в дневное время шумно, но терпимо. В спальнях шум с улицы не мешает.

Я бы рекомендовал в living room вместо скамейки поставить диван-кровать, разместилось больше гостей. Как и говорил, шум с улицы, но терпимый.

Le falta mucho por mejorar

La ubicación es perfecta, muy céntrico y puedes moverte con fácilidad

Tiene muy poca presión el agua de una de las regaderas, son muy bajitos y pequeños los baños, los dormitorios no son privados, comparten una puerta y es algo incómodo cuando va más de 1 pareja, no tienen bolsa de basura para que cambies por nuevas, no hay agua potable y el clima de la recamara mas grande le hace falta mantenimiento, ya que tiene muchos hongos

A very nice traditional house in a good part of Merida

A spacious house with a good kitchen, plenty of appliances, and two bathrooms with good hot water. Great air conditioning in the bedrooms., as well. It's in a good location, a 20-25 minute walk from downtown, but also two blocks from a big supermarket and a nice bread shop, and reasonably close to a small but good traditional market. Check-in went smoothly, with good communication with the host, and an easy self-check-out. An amazing value for the price I paid.

The only real downside was the noise from the city buses that loudly drive past the house. Because of the design of the house, this is annoyingly loud from the living room, but it can't really be heard from the bedrooms. (And hey, at least it means there's public transit nearby!)

Economical, authentic Casa living.

A hot shower, kitchen, microwave, comfortable beds, on bus route and grocery store, AC in bedrooms, 20 minute walk to main square. small courtyard in back. The owners took great care to check on us, give directions, and threw in an extra night when our plans changed.

Noise from traffic, no couches or easy chairs, hot in front rooms although there is a fan (fan over dining table too dirty to turn on over food). Small courtyard not well maintained, we had to take kitchen chairs out to sit there.

An economical and comfortable accommodation.

The property is a few kilometres from the historical centre where all the action is, however, we like to walk so that worked out fine. Our host sent me a map so we could take the bus and we found other areas such as the zoo on our own. There’s a little courtyard where we could sit out back and enjoy a cool drink. The kitchen was adequate, with a nice sized gas stove and apartment sized fridge as well as dishes, cooking pots, and a coffee maker. The AC in the bedrooms was great. A fan in the dining area kept us cool. The hot water and shower were excellent. There is a dining table and four chairs so it’s really like a home away from home. We also got free housekeeping during our stay. our host was very helpful and answered all my questions.

There is no set back from the road so you can hear a lot of vehicles.

Outstanding!

I would have given 20 stars if I could! Great property- super spacious, well equipped, very convenient location (especially with children) and awesome price! The owner was great, asking us every few days if everything was ok. Communicates well in English. We would have loved to stay longer, but unfortunately it was booked out. Highly recommended! Zoo is 7 walking minutes, playground right next to property, cheap and large supermarket 7 walking minutes away and lovely neighborhood all together.

Perfect little home!

Was extremely surprised with our stay here. First of all, the house is huge. A large living area, dining area, cosy corner kitchen, two bathrooms and two bedrooms that connect, ideal if, like us, you're travelling with children. The house was clean, furniture was comfortable, kitchen was well equipped, we had towels, cleaning products and the WiFi was excellent. Basically we everything we needed to enjoy a comfortable stay while both exploring and working. We wanted to extend our stay but unfortunately it wasn't available. We were quite said to leave! The house is within walking distance of a huge supermarket and smaller convenient stores, there's a playground and ice-cream shop close by and plenty of buses and collectivos that head into the centre. Within walking distance is the Parque Cenaterio, excellent for kids. Would suggest steering clear of the zoo there though it's in no way fit for animals. If you're comfortable, it's only a 25min walk to the ADO bus station or you can grab a taxi for 40peso. Walking to the Parque Grande (main plaza) took us about 30mins. It's quite a nice walk especially if you walk down by Parque Cenaterio. There are also some nice places to eat along the main road nearby. Extremely safe and friendly neighbourhood. We really loved the stay!

No complaints but just a heads up, the house isn't exactly modern so expect old fans and somewhat broken light switches etc. It's nothing bad just a little bit run down but extremely liveable. As for the bugs mentioned in other reviews, we were expecting the worst but didn't have any problems. We saw total of two cockroaches wander through which you can find in any hot climate and in any country. It's not infested like some reviews made out! We were perfectly happy and highly recommend it. As we said, we wished we could have extended!

Wonderful huge house, good location, excellent host, unbeatable value

This lovely house is very spacious and conveniently located near rhe centre, bus routes and Chedraui. The owner is extremely attentive and kind and he let me stay longer. It has air conditioning, fan and everything you need to cook. Lovely hammock, rocking chairs, dining table. You will not get better than this price.

There are a few insects but not many. It's only a bit noisy outside the bedrooms where the buses pass by, but you can't hear it in the bedrooms with the door closed. Nothing to worry about

Really lovely and spacious casita

Really friendly and lovely hosts. Its a local neighbourhood and a bit of a walk into the centre, so if you love walking you’ll like this place!

Closer to the airport

Very nice people and actually a nice house. Could need a bit more soul inside, but you have everything necessary. Personally, I wouldn't stay again, but for a night it's ok. It's super close to the airport.

We were aware that there might be insects inside the building, but this was just too much. They crawled on our beds and bit us. They probably tried to get rid of the insects and cockroaches by spraying some chemicals around, which is great. However, the smell was very present throughout the nights. Also, one toilet wasn't working, properly.

Totally recommended! I will be back for sure

Great location, super big place, fully equipped. internet was good and there’s AC for those who can’t stand the heat. the owner responded quickly and adapted to my schedule. Great deal overall!

one of the bathrooms has a small door, so watch your head! There might be insects, but that’s perfectly normal in a city like Merida. I didn’t have any problem with those.

Bedrooms had aircondition. Very cool.

Needed air conditioning in the front room/ living room and kitchen area. It was hot in the summer months but probably better in the cooler months.

Great for privacy or a bigger group!

A whole house for the price of a cheap room!?! It's great! Nice kitchen, patio out back, hammock in the dining room, we really liked it.

A little bit long from the bus station, and about 20 minutes walking to the old center, but on the same road as the airport. No double bed; but 3 twins.
