Il personale è davvero accogliente, al Shams ci si sente più che a casa. Sono persone davvero speciali. Ottima organizzazione dei tour se chiedete in reception. Buona la colazione. Posizione comodissima di fianco a bar ristoranti e di fronte al mare.

Being a lot in Dahab we found a great place that is both prime location, value for money and has inh

We had an amazing experience that commenced prior to our arrival while the hotel manager MR. Ashraf contacted us to introduce himself and to ask if we required any assistance. Upon arrival we felt like home and that entire team is there to overcome any issues or request that we had mainly for activities outside the hotel Furthermore the hotel owner MR. Shams operating a diving center and we had a great time and explored different instructors that all were professional and service oriented. Highly recommended!!

Without rambling all that much about every aspect that I loved about this place -like the location, the rooms, the view, the amazing hospitality of Ashraf the owner, I can just say that I found a home in Dahab. I don't need to look for anywhere else to stay or dive at. Come to Shams hotel, and you will feel that you are hugged by the place!

The entire experience was exceptional, with everything exceeding our expectations, from the attentive and friendly staff to the excellent facilities provided in the room. The staff, particularly those at the reception, were incredibly warm and attentive, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction throughout our stay. Their caring nature and exceptional service made us feel genuinely valued as guests. Choosing this hotel for our honeymoon was undoubtedly a fantastic decision. We were delighted with the level of service, the amenities, and the overall experience. It created a memorable and romantic atmosphere, making our honeymoon truly special.

You can see the staff are happy working here, they really have good attention to detail and work hard at making your stay perfect. Suitable for the fussiest traveller. Spotlessly clean.

The property is wonderful and the staff are shiny stars. 100% recommend this place.

Shams is a small, comfortable property with big, clean rooms. The rooms are pretty and the staff are brilliant, absolute legends, I’ve never been so well cared for in my life. The diving and activities were so much fun, everything was effortlessly organised.

Home from home, Outstanding Staff

Simple, comfortable, clean accommodation. Great restaurant, directly on seafront. Fantastic Dive centre. The staff are outstanding. My Son and I were made to feel like family. Great WiFi and A/C. Best location, direct access to coral reef and plenty of shops and restaurants. I wouldn’t hesitate to return and recommend.

The girls in reception are v. helpful and kind and access to the beach and coral is superb.bit noisy

The views, staff, price,and cleanliness have made me return.

the rooms are basic but clean. the breakfast is tasty. the staff are very helpful.

it’s a bit of a walk from town, the staff weren’t very responsive the first night but then incredibly helpful every other night. they went above and beyond for the price we paid.

good location, just off the beach walkway, close from everything

room cleanliness, staff for breakfast: rude and not efficient in any way (be prepared to wait 30min for a juice and a water). Bikes and water equipment are in very poor condition (and they want to charge you for it!), and they sell you day trips that don’t end up being composed by what they initially said.

Super friendly people, caring and helpful. The location is fantastic because it's only a few hundred meters away from the busy streets that can be reached by foot in only a couple of minutes. The place is very well looked after, too! Also really nice variety of breakfast options ranging from local food (my preferred choice :-)) to continental to a more sporty breakfast with fruits and stuff. Good Wi-Fi everywhere by the way. It wasn't mentioned on Booking but it's there for all guests!

I had a room with a construction site right in front of my door. It was on the property next door and the folks worked from 7 a.m. until late in the evening. It's nothing that Shams can do anything about, just was an issue for me at the specific time of my stay. An electric kettle (instead of a TV) would have been a nice bonus.

Beautiful place, beautiful rooms and delicious meals at the restaurant! All staff members are really nice and helpful. Shams hotel is close to the street shop, restaurant and not so far from the Laguna beach.

Greatest hospitality we’ve ever experienced! The staff at Shams are just brilliant - every one of them took great and personalised care of us, helped us with all the travel arrangements, day trips, rental of equipment and all the rest. Thank you! Truly amazing!

Superb

Shams is a great place to be in Dahab. It is 5 minute walk from “center” located beachfront on a beautiful reef of Dahab where you can see many fish. Nice breakfast is included in the Shams restaurant on the beach. The room was practical, with aircon and very clean. The staff was exceptionally friendly and very helpful to all our needs. Will surely come back!

Shams hotel was the perfect place to discover Dahab! Very friendly and helpful stuff, starting from check-in, activities they arranged for us, free bikes they offered us, and even helping with whatever needed during our stay! That’s where I had my first dive, and definitely planning to visit again!

It was a good experience overall, really helpful staff and I would recommend.

The location was good, right by the sea, but not the best end of town. But diving is the main activity so The manager and staff were excellent, very helpful and accommodating. He even threw in FREE escorted trips to popular destinations such as The Blue Hole and Blue Lagoon. I did not expect it so it was very welcome. The breakfast (included) was good and the view from the restaurant was fantastic.

The room was pretty basic, which I did expect, but TV didn't work and there was not much of a view from the windows.

Outside of main city center but very close to it. Pretty calm and quite zone. Nice resturant right next to the sea. Breakfast is fine. Not the best in my life but 4- out of 5 (minus for serving nescafe coffe instead of normal one). Nice personnel. One can rent bike at the property.

bathroom needs repair. water goes through the shower cabin. Safe is needed. if u stay on the first floor u would either need to cope with that people passin will gaze at u or live with the closed curtains. LMight have been more light in room (or brighter lamps). but in general for the price i paid - that was fine experience

we will come back!

Asraf the manager and the whole stuff where wonderfull. helped us with taxi from airport and back and all the questions. guids in diving center where very good and kind. they gave us personal attension that i haven't seen anywhere!!!

we stayed in the last bongullow that was near the meeting place for the diving arrangement and it was loud in the morning. next time we will get a room. it was all booked. otherwise they would have moved us. the bathroom where clean but small and old and there was sew smell sometimes.

The employees at Shams were top notch, and sham himself was a super friendly guy. The restaurant was wonderful, and no one in our group or anyone else I know had stomach issues. The food was super clean from what we could tell, and the breakfast and coffee were fabulous.

I had one little issue, and that was that there were no regular blankets available. Only a thick quilt was provided and we both slept so hot with it that we had to go buy our own thinner blanket in the market so we could sleep comfortably. The air conditioning works great, but if I just wanted a thin blanket and a sheet, not a thick quilt.
