Lugar agradable, tranquilo y muy limpio.

Very good

The breakfast was good - limited but tasty , coffee was a bit weak but these things happen the breakfast room is very peaceful . All the staff were helpful & unobtrusive. The gardens are beautiful & the overall feeling of this hotel is calm. My small room near the front wasn’t exactly as luxurious as the photos might imply . But it was very comfortable if a bit dark . I suspect the more pricey rooms are nicer . Quiet location but easily walkable .

Magical boutique hotel in a magical city in the clouds.

We had the most wonderful stay in St. Cristobal at Guayaba Inn. Gorgeous room at an amazing value, great location, great breakfast, and super helpful staff. Angel always helped us with any info we needed about St. Cristobal and our travels in the surrounding area. Highly recommend.

Beautiful gardens, delightful rooms and exceptional staff.

‘Didn’t like’ is too harsh a term, but for such a special place, I think the room would benefit from a few odd jobs eg, tightening bathroom fittings and door handles etc.

the towels and sheets were very old and almost threadbare. we were only given one tiny bar of soap for 5 nights and one tiny bottle of shampoo/conditioner.

Superb

Guayaba Inn is a gorgeous property. It has great style with beautiful rooms and its grounds are stunning. Easy walk to the centro of San Cris. The staff were AMAZING here. so frienly ans helpful Especially Miguel Can say enough positive things about this Inn!

This hotel is on my top 10 list

We had the largest room. It was beautiful with a lovely kiva fireplace, copper slipper tub, beautiful rattan king bed and all the little touches. A fire was set every evening with extra firewood also to watch it from bed. Very quiet. Angel cheerfully set up a driver for us, called taxis, helped us with decisions, heated up my leftovers at night and made us laugh. All the staff were a delight. Breakfast was very nice.

We wish real Chiapan coffee was available to brew in room in an old fashioned coffee maker.

Cozy Place, a bit far from Town Center

Cosy Boutique Hotel with a personal touch. The staff was helpful in fixing small deficits in the room (eg safe didn't lock, some light bulbs were flickering). The location was nice & clean.

There are no Restaurants nearby, so you always have to go into town for Dinner (~30 min walk). And on the last day they forgot to give us a morning call, so we almost missed our 6am Shuttle ...

Beautiful and very comfortable hotel with terrific staff and great breakfast!

Beautiful, lush courtyard with small koi pond. Bed was extremely comfortable, good breakfast, friendly and helpful staff. Good coffee in the room (nespresso coffee maker).

No parking, but otherwise no negatives.

Superb

I booked a suite deluxe. The room was great and spacious with a large bathroom (bath and shower) and a chimney. Located in a small but nice garden. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast service was also very good. Very good value for money

The chimney had a gas heather that was not working well. So the staff gave us an electric heater which was a good replacement (evening was a bit chill in November).

Great Hotel. Excellent value for the money

1. Beautiful garden and very comfortable and decorated room 2. The Staff was amazing, friendly and very helpful 3. Breakfast which is included is great The Hotel in 15 minutes walk from the center of the city; We were fully aware of it once we chose the hotel

Not always we had hot water in the shower. Sometime the staff manage to fix it, but not always

The garden, architecture and over feel of the hotel was great. Excellent breakfast and the staff were accommodating, the kitchen staff coming in early for us on our last morning.

I have wanted to stay here for years, and was so glad we finally made it. It was a little oasis.

We loved the setting and the gardens. It was so pleasant sitting on the balcony and listening to the birds. Breakfast was very good. and the staff was very friendly and helpful

The coffee could be stronger. The rooms were a little dark and could use more light. The bed was very comfortable, but the pillows were a little old. And, there was not always hot water in the shower.

good but not the best nights sleep after the long drive to get there.

the place is very beautiful the room are large and very pretty. but it can be noisy if you have a room on the lower floor. Nice breakfast.

they did not honor my request for two beds and I was traveling with a friend not a partner so we had to sleep in the same bed which was creaky, It did not make for a good nights sleep. They changed the room the second two nights. But in both cases the rooms were on the lower floors, The people above us could be heard walking around dropping things moving things ect.

Couldn’t have been any better!

Amazing customer service, super beautiful, clean, gorgeous room, comfortable, amenities, well kept gardens, quiet, walking distance from restaurant. Guayaba Inn is absolutely a place that I would go back my next time in Sancris. Most of all, everyone of the staff were extremely nice, attentive, helpful, their attitude and smiles made my stay perfect!

A true gem

Everything about this place was magical. The bed was heavenly, the bathtub was huge and relaxing, the breakfasts and coffee were delicious. The property is very lush and tranquil and the staff were super kind. Would definitely stay here again!!

Service was impeccable. Staff charming and nice. The room we had was fabulous. It was cleaned thoroughly each day. The area was quiet but not far from city center. Great place.
