Hello Sugar Beach Resort Lovers! We have just purchased this Direct Ocean & Beachfront Condo in a Spectacular Setting! This condo had a A+ rating for the prior long term owners through one of Maui's largest rental agencies! We are underpricing our condo for our Grand Opening Kick Off! our prices change by the month but we will always be less than the agencies and always willing to make a deal to fill our open dates ..our lowest rates are 129$ a night but the rates fluctuate during the peak sell out seasons so book early! aloha!

This condo was awesome!! Top floor ocean front, you cant get any closer! Comfy bed and soft bedding. Everthing you could need for the kitchen, laundry, and bathroom. We would book again.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Mike’s penthouse. From the time we made the reservation until the time we checked out was a five-star experience. The penthouse came with all the necessities. There are literally too many to name. But I will name a few. They provided beach, chairs, umbrella, coolers, and boogie boards. The kitchen had every utensil, coffee, maker, blender, herbs, and seasonings and etc. The bed was very comfortable, the central cooling was excellent. There were plenty of towels along with beach towels. The washer and dryer was amazing, Mike even provided washer pods. When we checked in, we were greeted with several surprise treats. When we checked out, we were also greeted with a very nice departure gift. Every time I text Mike always responded properly. The grounds were clean, the pool was clean and well-maintained. We will definitely book with Mike again. When you book with Mike, do it with confidence, you are making a great choice. I’m sure I left Other wonderful amenities out. But there are just too many to list. Mahalo Mike until next time.

Mike and Brenda are the best hosts I have ever worked with. They genuinely care about their guests and make sure that guests are well taken care of. Condo is right on the beach and located about in the middle of Maui. . North tip of Maui “Nakalele Blowhole” about 30 miles. Hana 57 miles. Other places we liked. Best ice cream “Lappert’s” at The Shops at Wailea 8 miles. Kihei Kalama Village 6 miles, also called “Bermuda Triangle” by locals for its nightlife scene, & restaurants, there are bunch of food trucks there too. Best shave ice - Ululani Shave Ice walking distance.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The place was clean, right on the beach and perfect! The place had everything you would need for your stay. Mike was amazing.. he gave us tips for the island, left us drinks and snacks as a welcome gift and even a gift card as a gift for staying. The pool and hot tub and grounds were beautiful. Convenient and lots of great places to eat and visit with just a short walk on the beach. We can’t wait to come back! Don’t hesitate to stay here, you won’t regret it!

My husband and I stayed at Mike and Brenda’s for two nights during our trip to Maui. I can’t say enough good things about Mike and Brenda and their condo. We were upgraded to the penthouse unit, which had amazing panoramic views of the ocean. There were so many thoughtful touches, like snacks when we arrived and basic supplies like soap and shampoo. Communication was excellent and they were always offering help plan our time in Maui. The location was great for morning beach walks and an easy walk to a little store, shaved ice, and bake shop. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Brenda and Mike went above and beyond to meet my needs during my stay in Maui for my birthday. They got in touch a week before the trip and touched base with my gf and I. We got to Maui earlier than check in time and they went above and beyond to get us in early. There were goodies for us when we arrived and all the beach supplies we could ever want (beach towels, cooler, beach chair, beach umbrella, & boogie boards). Parking was a breeze as well!! And the ocean view was unbelievable! Waking up to the sound of the ocean and seeing the sun rise from our room was something I’ll never forget! Will definitely come back!!

Mike and Brenda are amazing hosts, they go over and above. Wonderful snacks were waiting for us. The property was clean with a beautiful ocean front view. Nice beach chairs, umbrella, beach towels, boogey boards are there to use. Full kitchen with everything we needed to cook a few meals. We loved hearing the ocean. The entire property is well managed, pool, jacuzzi and BBq’s. Easy location to find, easy parking and check in. Hosts made sure everything was good throughout the trip. We loved being able to do laundry before we left, condo comes with washer/dryer. We will definitely stay at this property again.

Fantastic hosts, great amenities, tight quarters for 4, but an amazing relaxing time nonetheless. The hosts provided timely support on all questions and concerns. Rent here for a stress free getaway. This was the first time in my life (aquaphile of ~40yrs) I heard families of blue whales talking to each other while swimming out front.

We had a crunch move from Lahaina after being booked there for Daughters Wedding and Mike & Brenda were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING...! We felt that hold-your-breath- panic but they stepped right in, pitched in a perfect room, removed "Every" worry & Need to the dotted line, we needed nothing! And when a few things hit us unexpectedly with Rental Car, Late Flights, They stepped in to soothe those paths too! Such an incredible couple, and nice place, helped find close places to eat, shop etc. Just out of their way Helpful Hosts. My sister stayed at same Resort , different Room, different Host, and had "None" of the same services we had, tho' their room was nice enough, all the XTRA Touches we had from our Hosts made ALL the difference in the world in making a choice of returning!! Not a second thought will be given! Grateful from Oregon

We had a great stay. We were upgraded to the penthouse unit since we needed the sofa bed for our teen son. The view & location were great, and everything was as pictured. We saw whales every day and a turtle once from lanai. The steps to the beach include large rocks that may be hard for someone with mobility issues, but there are alternate paths. There is an elevator very close to the unit. The pool is heated--not hot, just not cold. The hot tub was great as well, and there is a sauna. The grills by the pool are gas, cleaned daily, easy to use. Overall the resort is well-maintained and attended to daily; the elevators would get wet from people dripping from the pool or beach, but they were cleaned and dried quickly every day. The keyless entry is nice so you don't have to worry about carrying keys around. Everything we needed was provided--cookware, some condiments and seasonings were available, a couple of k cups (we bought our own, though), regular towels and linens, plenty of pillows, some extra blankets, beach towels, beach chairs, boogie boards, shampoo, conditioner, soap, laundry detergent, dish soap, sponge, paper towels, toilet paper, hair dryer, curling iron...there was even nail polish remover and aloe vera gel! There were also binoculars for whale watching and some movies, games, and books. The snacks on arrival and Starbucks gift card were incredibly fun to receive and made us feel extra welcome. Great spot, highly recommend, would return. Mahalo Mike & Brenda!!

My boyfriend and I had been searching for the perfect getaway trip for quite some time. We decided for Christmas that instead of gifts, we would plan a trip together. Maui was our ideal destination but after looking at several places, the hidden fees and other costs were pushing us out of our budget. I was pleasantly surprised to see this place with reasonable prices and no extra crazy fees! Booking was so easy and we were greeted via text right away from the owners. They were an absolute joy to work with. I never once stressed about where we were going to stay because I could tell that they loved the place. The property owner/managers contacted us before our trip multiple times to ensure that everything was ready to go for the day we arrived. Upon arrival there was a beautiful set of snacks and drinks set out on the counter for us. It was so nice to see after a long flight. Everything was clean, amazing views, comfortable bed and great location. I could not say more wonderful things about our stay. I felt taken care of the entire time. The hospitality was absolutely unmatched. Will highly recommend to all that I know wanting a comfortable experience!

This was our first time to Maui and we so enjoyed our stay! We were upgraded to the Penthouse and the views were beyond gorgeous! The place was perfect, the hosts were amazing, and we are so thankful to have found this piece of paradise! Loved hanging out by the ocean in the lounge chairs, and also by the pool! Convenient to Kihei restaurants and shops, but loved coming back to the quiet private beach after a night out. We have decided to make this an annual trip and will be hoping to stay here every time!!

Great view! Upgraded to the Penthouse. Quiet property. Sunset, and Moonset views were breathtaking. Especially the Moonset. Comfortable bed. I especially liked the moving wall/door separating the bathroom from the bedroom. Other condos don’t have that feature. Nice when traveling with more people. Communication with Brenda and Mike couldn’t have been better. Make sure you stop at the rental office to register and pick up your parking pass upon arrival.

We absolutely loved our week-long stay at Sugar Beach. Thanks to the wonderful hosts and ideal location, we were in heaven. We stayed in the incredible penthouse and ate dinner almost every night from the balcony overlooking the ocean. The condo comes stocked with all you'll need (comfy bed, coffee maker, beach towels/chairs, kitchen stuffs, etc.) and the views morning, afternoon, and evening were breathtaking. A few recommendations: 1) Walk down the beach in the morning to Sugar Beach Bake Shop--amazing pastries and good coffee. 2) Book a visitors paddle with Kihei Canoe Club. It's a short walk down the beach and after watching them paddle by every morning, it's fun to join the crew. 3) Always bring a snorkel. You can buy/rent snorkel equipment and boogie boards from the snorkel shop at sugar beach. Snorkeling on Maui is incredible. We bought a snorkel from this shop and brought it with us to every beach. We found the vibe at Sugar Beach was perfect for us, very low key, relaxing, and lots of smiles. Our hosts also made us feel taken care of from check in to check out. If this place is free, you should definitely book it! We are so happy we did.

The condo was fully stocked with everything needed for a week's stay. It was in a great location with gorgeous views of the ocean. I would NOT even hesitate for a second regarding if I would book here, again. We were moved to the penthouse because we had our kiddos in tow this vacation. If this suite is available for your time in Maui, BOOK NOW! You will not regret it. Most idyllic location, beautiful quiet beach with incredible sunsets. Also features the BEST hosts. We had a late flight and they supplied us with snacks and water for when we arrived. They ensured everything was to our liking and even cared for our well being, can't say enough good things about them. We enjoyed seeing sea turtles from the lanai and the gorgeous view! This place has everything you'll need in Maui, including a cooler, beach chairs and an umbrella. We absolutely loved and cherished our time here celebrating our 10th anniversary with our 9 and 5 year old. We all had such a blast! ❤️ Thank you, Mike and Brenda!!!!

This place was amazing! The location - directly ocean front on a wonderfully swimmable beach - was fantastic. The views from the condo were spectacular. Communication with the very kind owners was excellent. They even left snacks in the condo to celebrate our arrival. We’ve stayed at other places on Maui but none were as welcoming and comfortable as this place. I recommend it wholeheartedly.

This place is soo amazing! Mike and Brenda are amazing hosts who went out of their way to make our stay awesome. They upgraded us to their penthouse and it made this trip for our family so perfect. They even brought us gifts and did so many little things to make our stay super enjoyable! The lanai has such beautiful views, the location is wonderful and close to all you need but still feels private and lovely. The king size bed is soo nice. I slept like a baby and our 17 year old daughter slept great on the hideaway bed. This was just perfect for the 3 of us and we will be back! Highly recommend!! Mahalo!!

We loved the amazing views and accessibility to the beach from our condo. Not only was the master bed comfy but so was the pull out couch bed! The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals while there and even had both a Keurig and a drip coffee maker! But Mike is the reason we will come back! He was the most responsive property owner I've dealt with from VRBO! Even when the power went out, he made an extra trip over to give us an extra flashlight. He went above and beyond to make sure we had an incredible stay!

Mike and Brenda take great care of the property and are excellent communicators ahead of the stay! The view from our complimentary upgrade to the penthouse was amazing, the lanai is quite peaceful, and it really is just a quick elevator ride and walking path by pool right to the ocean! During our stay Mike was also great at responding to any questions we had. The property is furnished with comfortable chairs couch and bed, the bathroom and shower are great, the kitchen met and exceeded our wishes, the washer and dryer in unit were very nice, and the atmosphere was a welcome respite from the bustle of daily life on the mainland. Without reservation we recommend you book your stay with these folks! We look forward to “hurrying back” to visit again 😀.

We had a great 8-night stay at Mike's condo in Kihei. The location on the island was perfect for being able to easily explore all of Maui. This was our first trip to Maui and spent most days hiking in various spots all over the island. The central location of Kihei was perfect. The condo was very clean. And the resort, despite being a little older, is very well maintained and extremely clean. I was very impressed. While we were gone most of the day, Mike's condo had everything that we needed when we were there. And there was nothing better than eating breakfast on the balcony every morning with that unbelievable view and sound of ocean waves. Sunsets from the balcony were amazing every night, as were the sunrises over Haleakalā in the mornings from the front door side. And we actuallly saw a humpback whale jump completely out of the water within five minutes of getting in, when first checking out the view. Check-in was easy and the communication from Mike beforehand was outstanding. He also checked in with us during the week to make sure everything was OK and we had everything that we needed. We could tell that he really cared about how things were going for us and that everything was in order. I highly recommend Mike's condo. We'll definitely be looking to stay here again if we every get back to Maui.

Having stayed at Sugar Beach in 2020, I knew I had to go back. We searched for a couple months when Mike and Brenda’s unit popped up we booked it immediately. They were a dream to work with. They stayed in contact with us once the booking was confirmed. When we arrived they let us know the moment housekeeping was done and we could get into the unit. We were traveling with a toddler and we wanted to settle in asap. Their decor was bright and clean. We had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable. I slept on the hide a bed and it was as good as can be expected. You absolutely cannot beat the view from your lanai. Mike and Brenda left us a Starbucks card at our front door the evening before we left to get coffee at the airport!! Sweet! Thanks guys! Until we meet again!😉

Easy booking and Michael called as soon as it was completed! He was friendly, informative and eager to give me info on, not only Sugar Bay and his unit, but local suggestions for dinner, entertainment and fun! We we contacted prior to arrival and given very easy instructions for access and wifi/TV etc. The condo is amazing with spectacular views! Very well stocked with everything you could need or want! Celebrating our anniversary was perfect! Thank you Michael and Brenda for a truly awesome experience! Definitely recommend as hosts!
