First of all THE ANIMATION TEAM! They are amazing guys that are able to do a lot of activities and they are trying so hard to do their best so everyone feels fine and enjoys what they are doing.To the hotel: I hope you cherish them like they deserve because in all places we have been we never seen an animation team well formed like this one.Continue like this Team!!!👍
A big LIKE for the Kitchen Team as well cause they do their best too and they always put something new in the menu.It's not something that you always can aspect not even from a five star hotel.
As in all big houses even in this one there are things to improve...The ants in the rooms....you really have to do something....maybe some lines of even some natural products in front of the rooms entrance and the terrace will keep them outside.On the beach there could be a rental service for pedal boats, ecc.You can change the tennis balls as they are consumed and the bicycles could be for gratis as they're not e-bykes.Are only things to improve....Thank you for everything guys and I hope to see you again another summer but only with the same TEAM!

Tolle Anlage und direkter Zugang zu schönem Strand. Essen war ausgezeichnet und am Buffett hatte es immer wieder neue Speisen. Gutes Unterhaltungsprogramm insbesondere auch für die Kids.

The food was amazing, definately get the half board. The dinners are worth it. The pool and slides are gorgeous and perfect for kids. The animation team was fabtastic in keeping my daughter excited and playing.
Housekeeping took a while to come clean the room, did not refill toiletries.

The hotel was absolutely great. Everything was new, modern and well-designed, rooms were spacious with awesome terraces. The meals were fantastic, a great variety of food that was beautifully cooked.

The staff is awesome, they give their best! The animation team is out of this world, they succeed in engaging the people. The bartenders work hard to make customers happy. Good job hotel's HR! Our kid enjoyed the water slides a lot, there are three types of rides. Food was good with good variety. The place was super clean, very new, and very well kept.
Not a big deal but ot would be great if water slides could work longer (they close 12 noon for a break). It would be nice if there would be more fish dishes served. Also the offer of wine in the a la carte restaurant could be extended with more nice Greek wine.

The service was excellent. The people were very kind and nice with us, a really child-friendly hotel and service. The beach was in front of the hotel, which was very comfortable with a 1,5 old year baby. We appreciated the playground, where the baby could play in a safe environment. The food was also good, a lot of options to eat. The garden was beautiful and there was peace so you could relax.
In all together a very nice time spent here. We could recommend this hotel to families. It is a true relaxation. A big plus for the attitude of the people wkrking here: all nice and very kind!
In the room, which was beautifully designed, we had a lot of ants.
Sometimes the cleaning staff did not take into consideration the do not disturb sign, so they entered the room. Our baby was sleeping and did wake up two times because of this. Maybe a bit of attention would be good on this sign on the door.

overall the stay was great: nice room with a beautiful terrace, delicious breakfasts & dinners (a lot of options to choose from), responsive staff, beautiful territory, and waterslides were fun :)
1. there was a coffee machine in the room, but no capsules. when I asked to provide some - staff said I could buy from them. ended up buying capsules in the store outside (much cheaper). it's strange for me that in a 5* hotel there were no capsules by default (you know, at least 2 to try :))
2. telephone and tv in the room didn't work. it didn't matter to us, because we didn't use them. but still, maybe for someone, it's important

Tasty food, good beach and sea, great pools. Really clean and comfortable. Perfect for holiday with kids.
2 minor issues:
- You have to buy fresh water for a room. It’s cheap in the shop, but still.
- Water slides segment joints feels a little bit uncomfortable. Seems like it needs maintenance.

The food was good, great verity.
We also used some of the special services the hotels offers:
Pool "sport" activity - so much fun! we had a great laugh
Haircut at the salon - the hairdresser was wonderful and did an amazing job!
Back & neck Massage - was ok.
Overall everything was wonderful.
Few small things that could have make it perfect :
The water pressure in the shower was low.
The bathroom door doesn't cut it as far as privacy goes. Not only it's sheer glass.. it doesn't provide isolation of noise or smell...
One of us is Vegetarian and she felt as if there is not enough protein options at the buffet.
There is no lifeguard - not in the pool area nor at the beach.
The laundry service are very expensive and and slow - 2 days.
But to the beach there is nothing to do outside of the hotel.
We booked a scuba dive activity from the hotel reception and when we arrive to the place (20 min car drive) it was closed and when we call them they told us they just decided to cancel. Although the receptionist was so nice and kind, we feel like she had to make sure that she is sending us to a good place with good reviews, we trusted her.. when we shouldn't.

Service was good. Especially "Jimmy" was great employee - always helpful and friendly. Actually all staff was fantastic. Everything was very clean. The hotel is right next to the beach.
Food was okay, but lack quality for a 5-star hotel. The restaurant on the top floor was rather disappointing. All-Inclusive wasn't really "all inclusive". After 23:00 all was shut down. An All-Inclusive 5-star hotel should enable guests at any time to grab something at the bar. This is unacceptable and if I would be aware of this earlier, I would’ve checked for alternatives. Especially as there is nothing nearby the hotel…
The animation team was rather disappointing when comparing to previous experiences and seemed not motivated to do things… They only had few ideas and seemed relieved when they could mind their own business.

Basically everything! All little detail is taken care of, rooms have everything necessary and are very nicely furnished. Personnel is great (especially the men driving the electric cars and animation team as well). Scenery is beautiful and peaceful. Plants all around the hotel are great. Pools are good size and also the big pool has gradual entrance which is perfect for kids. Water slides are great fun for young and adults. Food is tasty and varied. Good choice of coctels. Last but not least beach is wide and clean, enough space, not crowded and the sunbeds are super comfy. I would definetly recommend the hotel!
I wish coffee was better and juices as well, at least in the restaurant at meal time. Would also be a good idea to restock the water in the rooms when finished, not to only provide two bottles at check-in.
Cleaning of the rooms was great, but the organisation was not well enough - the woman came to clean our room every day around 13:00,which is a nap time for our kid, but I guess even without kids this is a time to rest at noon and not the best time to clean.
Pillows also could be better (only one of the four in our rooms was fine)

We loved our stay at Almyros Beach. It was relaxed, exceptionally clean, helpful staff, lovely location right on the beach. The hotel was really modern and well looked after and great value for money. Not having to get up at the crack of dawn to reserve a sun bed was a luxury and something we’ve not had before at any other hotel. Good sized family room which had everything we needed. We would definitely return to this hotel as it was pretty much faultless.
Very little to fault. My only issues were that food was not always labelled and being vegetarian meant we were not always sure whether the food contained meat or fish. As a vegetarian and gluten free it was quite difficult to get variety. We were told to ask the restaurant manager for gluten free options but to be honest doing this every day just felt awkward. It would be so nice if there could just be a gluten free section at restaurants as I’m sure I am not the only one! Also the adult evening entertainment was awful. The animation team put in so much effort but it really was very poor. Even the two external acts they brought in were not good and it was a real shame as we like to have something to do in the evening. Final moan was that our room was right next to the car rental car park and restaurant air conditioning units which were noisy. Not ideal for a 5* hotel.

* right next to the beach with sun beds and umbrellas
* entertainment for children was good - water slides, mini disco, etc.
* staff was friendly
cons:
* there is quite a walk from the room to the restaurant/ pool/beach which takes ages with small children
* all entertainment for children is outdoors, it would be nice to have something inside when it’s very hot
* the hotel was fully booked in Aug and felt very crowded especially during meal times, very noisy, crowded, occasionally there were no free tables left
* water for the room is €2 per bottle
* there was a capsule coffee machine in the room and not a single capsule! you can purchase a capsule - €2 each
* it’s a good place for children, but if you are not coming with children then I would look elsewhere
* …and lots and lots of mosquitoes

The resort is lovely, well kept and clean.
The staff us friendly and helpfull. The animation team is just great. Even though the hotel was dull it didn't fell this way. We enjoyed the store and bought gifts and the spa having a massage which was very good.
We had a great vacation
One problem we faced was getting a taxi or even a private driver when wanting to get to the nearest village, which is 5min drive from the hotel.
