San Pedro lugar mágico

Muy buena ubicación, a pasos de calle Caracoles, calle principal. La Sra Luz muy amable y muy buena disposición. Tiene una cocina común equipada que se puede usar, siempre limpia.

Algunas habitaciones son muy frías. La primera noche pasamos frío, solicitamos cambio y accedieron a brindar otra habitación más cómoda. No cuenta con calefacción.

Buena ubicación, muy cerca del centro. El personal muy amable, preocupado, con buena disposición, nos permitieron dejar las maletas y usar espacios comunes después del check out.

Solo un día, al rededor de las 9 de la mañana no tuvimos agua caliente. El resto de los días no tuvimos ningún problema!

Great stay

Excellent stay at Las Kañas, our room had very good wifi and was very spacious. Shared bathroom facilities were cleaned everyday and felt really fresh, kitchen was good but only cooked here a couple times. Lots of cute cats too! Not far from the center and out the way enough to have some quiet at night. And we got our laundry done, came back folded and ironed!! Hostel staff were lovely, thank you for a lovely stay!

Good location, rude staff

Location was good Room cleaned daily Nice kitchen

Staff were rude. Being there as a guest seemed an inconvenience for them. Having just arrived in Chile we were unaware of the added tax, however rather than explaining it, the woman was extremely rude and told us “if we didn’t like it we shouldn’t have stayed”. Laundry extremely expensive, £13 for a bag!

Great budget option

Very functional. Good hot water. Comfortable beds. It is basic but also very cheap and everything works. Very clean. Perfect budget option in expensive town. Helpful owner. Walking distance to restaurants etc.

Great location close to the main walking street!

- Comfortable room - Hot shower - 2 minutes walk from the Main Street and around 15 minutes walk from the bus station - Nice outdoor area

Pitty I couldn't stay more. Facility is nice, after all it is in desert :) .

Maybe because I am continental guy, whole ambient suited me well. The bright sun, clear view, low construction (buildings). The room that reminded me of my grandma's one :) . We were also able to dock the car inside the facility.

Mostly it is OK. Maybe some strange room (and refrigerator) smell from time to time, but not so embarrassing.

Everything was amazing, the receptionist was wonderful, my friend felt sick and he accompanied us to the emergency room, he was very kind and attentive.

good location. very secure. 24 hour staff. very well equipped kitchen and extremely clean and organised. comfy beds and clean rooms. a working fridge in the room.

the hotel had 3 different Wi-Fi’s you could connect to but it was rare if even one of them worked we often came back to our room to find the lights switched on, we are not sure why. On one occasion it was twice in one day.

Rooms were private, clean and comfortable. There was an adorable black cat on the property. Small but well stocked kitchen facilities available for use.

Only able to pay with cash. No real complaints otherwise.

A comfy stay

This is a very nice hostel, located very close to the Main Street. The staffs Henrique, his wife are very friendly and helpful. I had a very comfortable stay here and this is a perfect place to explore the Atacama desert.

Cynthia, the owner manager? was so very kind and helpful.

The kitchen was very well supplied with dishes, microwave, stove top, toaster and kettle. There were 2 common outdoor areas and another indoor area to use. They have an affordable laundry service and secure parking.

Misled.

The shower was always nice and warm.

Be warned that if you book this accomodation too read the fine print very closely. The accommodation only accepts cash, despite it saying that 'cashless payment is available' in the facilities section of the listing. When you leave they will also try to charge you more than your original booking so be careful. Additionally, the owner startled us when he knocked on our door the night before checkout to tell us no payment had gone through. It was 11pm and he expected us to go out and get cash right at that moment. The situation caused us unnecessary stress on the last night of our stay in San Pedro - which could have been avoided as they had a new card machine in reception.

location, small cozy room, amazing blankets/duvets, small toilet but very clean, great staff (super helpful and kind)

It is located close to the main street but it shouldnt be counted for it's favour as most of hostels are located on the main street

Be prepared that it is very spartanus, very cold in the night, noisy (due to thin walls and basically a family is living there). As most day tours are very early in the morning, the noisyness is unfortunately very negative.

The location is the best.. you are next to the main street "caracoles" just a couple of minutes walking and you have pharmacies, restaurants, agencies, etc . Have a small parking for 3 or 4 cars... very usefull in San pedro..

there is littles holes in the borders of the doors and when is cold during the night some time you can feel the soft wind... is not too much but for the cold weather of San pedro is a point to check.

Amazing stay!

Clean, spacious, good shower, well equipped kitchen, personal fridge, towels included, location was good, (5 min from supermarket).

No wifi, no fan --> during the day the room is hot, but it cools down by night.
