Great location for activities around Calanques de Piana and Scandola Reserve, spacious and comfortable room for three people, excellent breakfast with amazing view and pastries (fig tart and apple puff pastry are highly recommended). The outstanding service was really appreciated - Stephane was an amazing host and helped us sort out an issue with our car rental late in the evening, to the extent of test driving our rental car to ensure it was safe to drive to the next destination for car exchange.
The cleaning staff were too efficient, started cleaning while we were at breakfast!

On the edge of Piana a pretty, mountain town. close enough for an easy walk yet not too noisy. Private parking lot with numerous car charging spots. Sadly the only fast charger is reserved for the hotel owner. The chargers don't get powered up until 8pm and they shut down at 2am and given their charging rate their outlets are not to be relied on to fully charge your Tesla. The room had a great view and almost enough electrical outlets. Small dormitory refrigerator is a stocked minibar that has to be unloaded for your private supplies. Breakfast is a delight, large continental offerings in a beautiful balcony that is mostly shaded that time of day. Wifi signal was good but not super strong. Cell service was also strong. There are two beaches within a short drive down off the mountain. We liked the farther beach and spent full days there and then returned for dinner at the 3 nice restaurants. One of the nicest beaches in Europe. If you drive to Piana you know the roads are narrow, the guard rails often don't exist and the views are spectacular, somethime harrowing/scary and certainly an adventurous drive. Short walk to town and its restaurants and bars. Pizza is king and will not disappoint. Fish and pasta are also good. Grocery store is a 10 minute walk from the hotel. Gas station is also very close.
Wish there were more lights for reading at night and more electrical outlets for chargers etc. Smoking on the balconies is allowed and that chased us off our balcony more than once. Too bad because the view over the peninsula is gob-smacking (poor Big Sur will never be as awesome to me again). No elevator. Dark hallways at night. 1/3 of the staff spoke English. All were helpful especially the housekeeping staff.

The view is as shown on the add, and it is basically 90% of what you're paying a premium for here. What isn't shown is that the hotel is on the main road into town so the immediate view is of the road - I suggest asking for a top floor so the road intrudes less on the view. But setting this aside, the view of the sea/islands is special and the main feature.
In many ways this feels like a basic hotel/motel made to look upmarket and justify a price higher than warranted. The bathroom only had a handheld shower and an inconvenient "ladder" for towels leaning against a wall that was easy to tip and couldn't dry towels effectively. The breakfast (21 euros) was overpriced - if you can eat your weight in 20 euros of sweet food/pastries (of generally good quality) it might be ok, but savoury options were limited (a slice of salami, mortadella (yuk), one type of cheese, boiled egg). The fridge was only for minibar purchases with no room for cooling your own drinks. Basically, it felt like the aim was to make money out of you at every opportunity - in the end we felt a bit ripped-off for the price we paid. It's also much further away from beaches than we expected (but if you drive 25 minutes to Arone beach, that is a very nice destination).

nice installations, fantastic view
we drove 1h30 to the hotel and found out there was a power outage in the entire zone. we asked the hotel owner if they would allow us to cancel as we would have to sleep with our door open (no windows) due to no A/C, exposed to the danger of someone entering, especially with the room being next to the road. they refused. when we arrived later in the day we found out there was no water either. we spent the night, despite having our door open the room was very hot. we slept terribly. the next day we were not able to shower due to no water. when were leaving we asked the owner to consider a discount, but said she was not going to offer anything as everyone else was affected and it was not their fault. she even said she couldn’t do it and it was up to Booking to allow it. it is obvious the situation was not the hotel’s fault, but we paid €200 for a room that did not have the amenities that it should have had. it’s a shame because the hotel is nice with a great view, but it’s the typical case of an owner who doesn’t care about her customers, we’re everything is fine until a problem arises and you see the reality of the service. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

Wonderfully spacious room with balcony leading to stunning views of the Gulf of Porto and within a few minutes walk of the centre of Piana for bars and restaurants

We absolutely loved this stay in Piana. Best place we have been during our 2 week trip around Corsica. The view towards the mountains and the sea is amazing - especially in the afternoon. The staff was always helpful und very friendly, the breakfast was a really large buffet with all kinds of sweet and savory food. The terrace of the bar and the balcony of our room already made for 10 points. Parking was free.
The location of the hotel is great to go for hiking or boat trips nearby and the town Piana itself is much less touristic than expected. We will definitely come back here!

We had an amazing view from our room!
The hallway painted in a lighter/playful color combination would make a huge difference for the journey to the room.

The hotel is beautifully located in Piana. Everything in town is within walking distance, which results in a lot of options for dinner and activities. The view from the rooms and the breakfast terrace is exceptional. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. Our room was spacious, clean and tastefully decorated. The hotel offers e-bikes for rent as well and a lot of helpful notes on activities in the area. Breakfast was really good with a lot of homemade and regional products. Especially the cakes were immensely delicious!
We were sad to leave and fell in love with the place. The next topics did not impair our stay, although they might be interesting to others:
Some of the rooms are accessible by a joint terrace. If you have one of the front rooms, other guests will walk by your floor length windows to get to their terrace. However, there are customizable curtains.
Also, the breakfast buffet is 18€ per person. As mentioned, the products offered are well selected and there is something for everyone, although coffee was served from a big filter machine which made the selection of different coffee specialties impossible. So if you are not a big breakfast person, 18€ might be on the expensive side. If you enjoy an extended breakfast, we deemed the price worth it.

Piana, the main square, is a short stroll away. The beds were comfortable. The room and hotel are well decorated.
The outdoor breakfast terrace had a lovely view (breakfast 18€ pp).
No hot water in our room in the morning and the water pressure is weak
We stayed for 3 nights in the most expensive room. I went reception asking for ice to bring to our room. I was told that I can have ice only if I purchase drinks downstairs.

Very nice staff, nice location. Room was big and clean. Amazing view from the restaurant.
A bit too pricy, rooms on the first floor are right on the road. The food at the restaurant was expansive, hardly any vegetarian options and not as good.

First of all the staff is just wonderful!! The staff was so helpful and kind (especially to non-French speakers). The hospitality, out-of-this-world views from the room, and exceptional breakfast was the icing on the cake of this wonderful hotel. The best in Piana for certain!!

Stunning view. Decor was fab. Staff super helpful and friendly.
Wish the shower has an overhead spout, rather than a handheld.
8.0 / 10.0
Excellent, but too expensive, especially for us, small eaters, so we went for a coffee and juice elsewhere.
There was a fridge in the room but it could only be opened if we paid over 40 Euros for things we did not want. We only wanted to put our own water in it.

Situation exceptionnelle. Panorama imprenable. Proche de Piana
