Superb villa in a great location with wonderful owners on hand

Superb French Villa in a lovely village within walking distance. We had a very peaceful stay in this villa away from the crowds but close enough to drive to. The villa was amazing has everything you need, cosy and very comfortable. The owners JulieAnn & David were fantastic and helpful - we will be returning next year!

Pleasant stay in a rustic villa

The property has a nice pool area (though the heating isn’t very effective), the location is pretty good for access to Saint Maxime (15 minute drive), nice local village with an excellent Thursday market (5 minute drive), pleasant setting directly back onto a vineyard (we were given two bottles of wine from it on arrival, which was a nice touch), the owners are friendly and responsive (they live on site). Very friendly local cat and dog on site too!

Though we had a pleasant stay our overriding feeling was that this property could be so much better with a little investment in maintenance, equipment (kitchen, bedsheets etc all feel very cheap and old), and a deep clean (superficially clean but look closely and it is lacking - we also had issues with dozens of millipedes in the house during our time there, which could be a seasonal thing(late sept / early oct)). It takes the term ‘rustic’ to the extreme. I would definitely not recommend this place for anyone with young children; there is an abundance of dangerous trip hazards and harsh concrete steps. It’s worth knowing there are two properties on site situated right next to each other, so you do get some noise from your neighbour. I’m not sure how you end up with one property or the other.

Picturesque, peaceful, plenty of fun memories!

The atmosphere and facilities were exactly as advertised. Beautiful villa next to a vineyard with a terrific number of outdoor spaces. Very much enjoyed the private pool and venturing out to the surrounding areas.

Exceptional

Lovely house in lushious nature, a good sized warm pool and lots of activities to do with children. They have a lovely wine as well that they produce themselves. Everything you need to have a relaxing holiday. Saint Maxime is a short drive from the house and there is a lovely little village just a few steps from the house with a Thursday market.
