About this apartment rental

In many ways, the apartment offers the best of all worlds. It is situated right in the heart of Val Thorens, yet with direct access on to the slopes. It is within 100m of all the shops and restaurants, yet in a quiet side street. Facing south-west with a large balcony it has stunning uninterrupted views over the pistes and down the valley.
Val Thorens is Europes highest ski resort situated at 2300m at the top of the three valleys ski area, the world’s largest ski area.
Being such a high resort, you are guaranteed doorstep skiing on some of the best high-altitude snow from November to May (as well as during the summer on the glacier).

Skiing/Snow Boarding: The skiing in Val Thorens and the Three Vallayes is simply amazing. It boasts some 600km of varied pistes for the absolute beginner to the most adventurous advanced skier.
With 46 green, 101 blue, 108 red and 35 black pistes, 124km of Cross-Country trails, 1400 Snow Cannons, and a lift capacity of 243,000 skiers per hour, The Three Valleys ski domain is the largest in the world.
A choice of lift passes is available: Val Thorens, The Bellevedere Valley or the entire 3 Valleys. Beginners can use the many free ski lifts in the area.

Summer: Val Thorens is also a vibrant summer mountain resort offering a full range of activities from summer skiing on the glacier to hiking. From tennis to swimming. From rock-climbing to cycling. For those in to mountain biking, there is the possibility of using the ski lifts in the summer to access the many marked mountain bike trails that cover the whole of the 3 valleys.

Super good location by the slopes and near the supermarket. I enjoyed having the ski room. The only problem was with the internet. Both 4g and WiFi where very weak.

In terms of location, you simply cannot get better :-) The Hosts were absolutely incredible to deal with, so helpful from the time we booked, right through our stay and even post stay. Their apartment is wonderful, clean and has the amenities needed. It was slightly small for us but thats only because we're used much larger accommodation but it would not stop us from staying again. If i could make one suggestion, if you are dependent on good Wifi, it can be limited. The TV reception wasnt great either so Imay be worth downloading some things before you come if you have kiddies. Otherwise, loved eveything about this stay and the Hosts made it all worthwhile, Thank you Anne-Marie and Andrew. The Anderson Clan

definitely great for 2 people (not more, but this is a personal feeling). Perfect location with respect to the ski slopes. The wifi is a disaster (the weakest point of the apartment).

Ski in ski out was awesome, ski locker in the building was large, ample space for whole family. Toboggan run directly outside the door which the kids loved and close enough to monitor them from the balcony if you wanted. Easy to dry equipment in the apartment, plenty of storage, unlimited hot water. Also very quiet. Couldn’t hear the neighbours at all.

Positive: very good location and rather well equipped apartment (microwave, dishwasher, ceramic hob...), very good interactions with the owner. Negative: the bathroom (no shower head support...this is very bad) and the very (but very) limited wifi bandwidth. Suitable for max 2 adults (and maybe +1 or +2 young child).

My family of four just spent the last week of 2021 in this fantastic apartment for a ski holiday. The kitchen is compact and well equipped, and the location is the IDEAL ski in-ski out spot on Val Thorens. With the exception of New Year's Eve, it is very quiet at night [but then again, it's never quiet on NYE anywhere... ;) ] Close to shops, grocery stores, restaurants...and the lifts! The owners are really nice, helpful, and very responsive! We will definitely stay here again, if we have the opportunity to return to Val Thorens!

The apartment is very comfortable and the location is really fantastic. Located on the ground floor you don´t need elevators when entering or leaving the apartment with all your gear. Also, the ski locker is almost next door. The apartment is well equipped, unfortunately, the Wi-fi did not work (seems like Wifi and Bandwith in Val Thorens is a general challenge - best performance was on La Marine). Communication with Anne-Marie was excellent, and Karin handed over the keys. We can strongly recommend this apartment.

Great apartment for 4 adults any more is difficult. Ski in ski out. Nice quite location. Best snow in 40 yrs has been none stop for 4 days.

I have been going to Val Thorens for 12 years and this apartment has just got it all. It is a very typical apartment that you would get in VT. But this has got the bonus of location. Nice quite area, very central for the shops and entertainment, Ski in / Ski out. This is the second time I have used this apartment. We were a group of 4 adults and it was fine for us, any more and it could be a bit cozy. For a family it would be ideal. The apartment is clean and tidy and has all the cooking utensils and equipment you would need to be on a self catering holiday. Thank you so much Anne- Marie. Will be in contact again for next year.

The location is really superb. Although we felt the flat would need some renovation and it is a bit just for a family of 5, it is fully equipped and has everything one needs. And it is quiet at night, which we appreciated very much.

Ideally located, close to town and ski bus stop. Lovely little garden. The appartment has everything you need and very spacious. We would definitely return.

A very cosy flat that has all you need for a week's skiing. A truly ski in ski out home, less than 5 minutes' walk from shops, restaurants, ski hire, close to the lifts for that early getaway and yet on the quiet side of the building with no noise from the street. We used the Val Th website to book car parking, kit hire and ski passes. It all worked well. Best boulangerie was up behind Snowberry ski shop in the shopping complex.

Our original party of 6 was reduced to 5 which meant we could all sleep upstairs (double bed and triple bunk) and leave downstairs for 'living'. Made for an easy week - no sleeping on the sofabed. Great having 2 bathrooms. Kitchen well equipped. Apartment very clean and tidy. Ski-ing was amazing and ski-ing to the door was just ideal! Apartment very central - handy for shops and restaurants etc.Couldn't be better!

I would recommend the palce as this apartment was exactly as described. the owners were really helpful and made the whole booking process very easy. The apartment has all you need: very comfortable and the kitchen has all you required to prepare your own meals inlcuding a diswasher.The location could not be better, The apartment is right on the ski slopes and there are plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance. The lockers at the back was quite handy to have as we could leave the equipment there after a long day on the slopes. if you are looking for location this is the place to rent. Thank you very much for everything.
