Beautiful old house

Beautiful (very old, but renovated) house in beautiful location. You just feel that it has a rich history. The furniture, the dishes are antique and makes the stay there even better. The walls of the house are so thick that even during hot weather, the house is cool. Parking just in front of the door (on the grass). Very spacious room. Very friendly host, speaks English. We texted on our way to the house because we could not estimate the arrival time (due to the traffic jams in Germany) and had to postpone our arrival all the time. It was not a problem for the host, thanks for that! No extra charges for the dog.

No TV (but advertised), no toaster, no microwave oven. We were able to turn on the hot water boiler in the bathroom only 30 min before the shower. So in general, there is no hot water in the bathroom or you have to wait for it. No lights on the terrace so could not sit there in the evenings. The bathroom is rather small and there are no facilities to put or hang your stuff.

Very good

- Very nice place, close to the river. - Perfect for walks in the woods just above the apartment. - Very tidy and clean. - Dog friendly (without any extra charge). - Comfortable beds, the best sleep on vacations in ages. - Perfect value for money.

- TV advertised but missing in apartment. We could try to address that with host but actually took advantage of it and had a little detox. Plenty of other activities available in Radovljica and Bled lake that we did not even miss it. - Should respect the host's demand to turn the boiler for hot water before actual using it (understandable in these times) but it means that hot water is not available immediately and in case few people should take a shower, one must wait for it. It was just a little bit annoying, especially for the one who was up for the shower as the last one (me :-)).
