Au calme belle vue idéal pour visiter la ville

Emplacement idéal notre chambre était petite mais très confortable et propre, c’est très calme et le petit déjeuner est extra et le personnel très sympathique

A very nice stay ,very nice bathroom a nice lovely sheets and very thick ,soft towels.

Breakfast was good and the location was amazing and a very steep drive up to the Hotel.

A kettle for making my English tea that I take with me on holiday.

Exceptional

The 3 best things I liked about this property are Location, Location and Location. The 1st is for the elevation, the 2nd one for the Breathtaking View, , 3rd one is for the proximity to the Funicular for commutation into town. Of course the property by itself is also very good and the food is amazing. Loved the place... They have a forest trail close by for trekking, which looked very exciting, even though I didn't see it completely, due to the rain. .

A wonderful place to stay to explore this stunning city

Wonderful views. Located above Heidelberg. 30 mins walk to the river. Lovely room. Great breakfast. Welcoming staff. Would stay there again

Bedroom was quite warm at night but still acceptable as fan supplied.

Very quiet, spacious parking, very frindly and alert staff. Route instructions provided. Fee reduction for the funicular down to the city

Superb

We loved the room and contemporary furnishings. The bed was super comfortable and the en-suite bathroom was very well fitted with little extra guest gifts. The two full length windows gave us a wonderful view of the river and valley below. We didnt stay for breakfast so cannot comment on that.

Its great the funicular is directly next to the hotel. Its a shame it doesnt operate after 19.45 in the evening so you can visit the town in the evening. Its a long steep climb up to the hotel on foot so we needed to get a taxi back after our evening meal. It cost 12 euros but didnt spoil our enjoyment of this lovely town.

The location, the food, the view of Hedelburg from the room.. Close to the old town but lovely and peaceful. The staff were very good.

The Wi Fi was unreliable.

Very pleasant

Excellent location, right next to the funicular. Nice view, comfy beds.

The shower design was far from ideal and we had to squeeze up into the corner to avoid spraying water all over the room. More information about the hotel facilities would have been helpful, eg. restaurant menu in room, how to use the safe.

friendly staff and wonderful location. They let us check in early. plenty of parking. Breakfast was good. Room was comfortable with a superb view.

People stomping about in the room above us was quite noisy when we were trying to sleep.

Disappointing

beautiful location but unfindable because of construction labour at the streets.

we arrived late in the evening and the kitchen was closed because of renovation. So no dinner or breakfast being served, which we didn’t know! The bedroom was very cold, the heating maybe was turned on just before we arrived. Had to put my coat on the bed for extra heating.

We liked the location away from the busy centre but only a ride on the funicular railway. Breakfast was plenty the staff very attentive and cheerful and friendly. We had a small room but super clean and comfortable.

Bit outdated but with good atmosphere.

We did enjoy the location and the friendly staff. The bed was perfect, firm but also soft enough for shoulders and hips. Shower was good and enjoyable feel and size of the room. The hotel is a bit outdated but spacious and with a nice vibe. Did not have breakfast on site but could get a cup of coffee on the house at check-out, much appreciated.

The restaurant was closed on a Thursday. Maybe normal off season but this was not made clear to us beforehand. So we had to got down by cablecart to Heidelberg. The tram service only worked until 8 pm so the only way to get back was a taxi as the hotel advised against driving up the narrow road.

Heidelberg - worth to visit!

Real 4 star hotel, very nice room, big balcony with view to the valley and the city. Noble breakfast - very nicely served and tasty. Would definitely stay there again.

Excellent and friendly receptionists, great to park close by, wonderful views from rooms, lovely to have a drink on the terrace with that great view, easy to get to the funicular

It was unfortunate that there was a wedding there with all the party noise late in the evening.

Could have been excellent - sadly it wasn’t.

Nice staff, lovely terrace, easy pasrking.

The evening we stayed there was a very noisy wedding taking place in the hotel until 12 midnight. We wouldn’t have booked if we had known and it was very unreasonable of the hotel not to let us know - it’s small and clearly it was going to have a major impact on our stay.

Quiet night above Heidelberg

quiet location above the city and close to the funicular to get to the castle and old town . Though difficult to get to because of road closures.

I had booked a room with view that wasn’t available though we we were upgraded to a suite. would have been nice to have a coffee maker in the room and some toiletries in the bathroom.

Fabulous view of the town from this high quality hotel perched up in the hills.

Fabulous view from our room (do try and ask for a river view). Plenty of parking. Great terrace at the hotel restaurant to sit out and watch the sunset. You can't walk to the centre from here though. Need to either drive or take the funicular railway which although great fun, can get very busy in the main tourist season.
