Superb

View from the balcony.

Distance from the train station - uphill makes it quite difficult upon arrival. After arrival and being informed about the bus helps.

Great location, beautiful surroundings, worth the price!

Location was great, hotel was clean and spacious with no lacking in terms of service. Breakfast was decent too

Not sure about that 1 staff who mans the reception sometimes, maybe there is some communication barrier because English is not her first language

Very neat, clean and quiet. Kind and hospitality.

Not hot bath water to bathe. Around 40 degree centigrade

Wonderful location and clean, comfortable room with incredible view of the mountains!

Excellent location, clean and comfortable room and furnishings - Anna, the owner was very kind and helpful. Great breakfast included each morning.

I would only recommend shampoo, conditioner and body wash in larger bottles (not single use) and maybe coffee included in room. We did have tea.

Excellent hotel in the superb location!

The location of the hotel is fantastic! Mt First is right around the corner. In general, we didn't use our car while in Grindelwald. The hotel is beautiful, with big comfortable rooms. The breakfast was fabulous, and the lady who served it was extremely nice, friendly, and helpful. Many thanks to the hostess of the place for her hospitality and readiness to help with any questions or requests we had.

A great spot, lovely staff, old world charm and super hospitality

Mrs Gruber and her staff were extremely friendly and went out of their way to help where they could.

Feather pillows, but dont like them anywhere.

We had a very happy 3 days here.

it was in a really good position in town but quiet back from the main road. the staff were very kind and helpful. Annagret the owner couldn’t have been more helpful. Everything was spotless.

The hotel is located right next to the First gondola Great breakfast. Lovely owner and personnel. Would stay there again. And highly recommend the hotel and it’s location. It would have been even better if the terrace outside the bar had seats and tables and used for after ski.

Really friendly and accommodating staff. Apartment was perfect for two couples with lovely spacious loving area. absolutely amazing location right next to the gondola and the bus stop.
