The place to be...

Όλα ήταν υπέροχα και ιδιαίτερα προσεγμένα από την κυρία Μερόπη. Το πρωινό απίστευτα ωραίο και παραδοσιακό και η φιλοξενία της ο,τι καλύτερο. Το προτείνω ανεπιφύλακτα τόσο για χειμερινές οδό και για θερινές διακοπές!

Winter in Amalthia

One of the best stays I had with my girlfriend, if not the best. Really cozy place. It was like a stone castle and the rooms had wooden interiors, which I loved. The bathroom and the bed were top quality. The host was lovely and made us feel really comfortable, like being home. The breakfast was also really enjoyable and had plenty of stuff to eat. The fireplace in the room was an extra much-appreciated bonus. And ALL these for a very competitive price. We came during winter but definitely we would like to also pay a visit again during summer. Thanks for everything

Cozy, homely, convenient, comfortable, relaxing. We would definitely stay there again!! Highly recommended!!

We really liked the very spacious room, the cleanliness, the beautifully renovated bathroom, the views, the fireplace. We also enjoyed the location being surrounded by green, the common areas & the breakfast. The staff was lovely & extremely accommodating. Felt like home!!

Highly recommended

The location is beautiful: secluded yet central, and you are right in the middle of the Woods. The room was very quiet. Very easy to get to all the attractions in Pillion. The room was spacious. The beds were comfortable. The owner gave us a lot of information and restaurant recommendations and was very helpful.

The shower lacks a door, as we saw in other hotels throughout Greece. That means that when you take a shower the floor in the bathroom becomes wet everywhere. The room had a fireplace and we lit it at night. For some reason, maybe the chimney was partially blocked, the room filled with smoke. We needed to open the windows throughout the night to get the smoke out. You don't really need to use the fireplace because they have radiators and the room is nice and warm. The approach is through a steep gravel ramp, but there is no difficulty to go up there with your car.

Superb

The location is amazing, tucked away in the forest. The breakfast is abundant and varied every day. The family that runs the guesthouse is welcoming and caring.

Few details missing like nets on the windows so that you can sleep with the windows open in the summer without mosquitos finding their way in the room.

Exceptional host, very welcoming and resourceful Giant room with a very romantic design Fantastic bathroom with a view! Super location, very quiet, away from the main road Luxurious vegetation in the garden Huge pool- well equipped Very clean facilities Exceptional breakfast in quantity and quality -feels like a brunch with homemade food from start to finish in a superb terrace

We had a really pleasant three days and nights at Almatheia. We love Tsagkarada and the little hotel is above the main street and was, since there were few other guests during the day, absolutely peaceful. We had the nice pool area to ourselves and heard very little of the street or other noises. Only birds, and on Sunday the church service in the church across the street. It was just what I needed after a very busy work period!

Super relaxing place, especially during hot days, shade everywhere and the pool! Nice location to explore all the nice beaches, try fakistra beach! You can also do a walk directly from the hotel and don't forget to visit the big tree in the village square.

Utterly Charming

The staff were excellent and very polite. Beautiful bedroom and newly fitted shower room. Small details like gold monogrammed towels and chic bedspreads give this place a touch of style. The swimming pool is enormous with comfortable loungers. I would not hesitate to recommend it.

A stay in paradise !!

The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The swimming pool was also very convenient, with nice temperature and a large space to relax around, as well as a pool bar. The breakfast served in the morning is absolutely fantastic : food in quantity, variety and great quality !! The location is also very nice, with restaurants nearby, and easy access to the road to drive to other parts of Tsagarada and Pelion.

The access to the hotel can be a bit scary : the road climbs steeply and it looks quite challenging. Don't be afraid though ! It is very much possible (even with a tiny car) to get up there !!
