Nice place with great everything.

No hot water in room. Offered a different room but would have had to repack to move.

The place is a hidden gem in the wilderness, but well worth finding.

the view is spectacular, the pools are clean, the gardens well kept and well maintained. the beaches are very distant and with many steps to go down not suitable for people with walking disabilities. the saltwater pools are a delight, it's like entering the sea without risking that a wave drags you.

the people on duty at the pool are not friendly, I had to call them many times until they answered my call. they need to walk around aware that the people at the pool require service.

Adorable property that needs to learn to prioritize overnight guests.

The location is the reason I selected this hotel. it has beautiful views of the ocean from every corner of the property. Perched on the cliffs overlooking a public beach to the west and a private beach to the east. watching the sunsets from the free pampas were the highlight of every day. the salt water pools are very picturesque, although int reality a bit slimy thanks to the algae overgrowth. The restaurant is beautiful with attentive staff and great atmosphere. I also appreciated the air conditioning in my room, the staff at Pelicanos Restaurant, and the helpful front desk staff.

I hated my room. There was nothing relaxing or comfortable about it. No paying guest should have Room 209. The staff service area is right next door and the way the building is constructed you hear loud banging and yelling all day long beginning at 8am until 9pm everyday. it’s like living next to a construction zone. There was no relaxing and enjoying quiet time. The bed is much too hard for my liking, and it really needed a bedside lamp. The property on the weekends is over run with families who purchase day passes and are streaming in by 9am. You need to get up early to reserve a hammock or chair, if you want a place to relax later in the day.

Spectacular

The place is a hidden gem!! Beautiful, fantastic staff! It have a great view of the pacific coast and spectacular sunset!!!!!

The cabañas or chalet should be free of charge! But if a guest wants to get on the hammock that are on the cabañas or chalet’s they have to pay additional charge 🙁

It was a great experience overall. I would absolutely stay here again, if I dined out.

The property was great. Situated in between two coves, you can take your pick between two beach fronts, three ocean water pools, and two chlorinated pools. Lots to do and everything was beautifully maintained and groomed. Chlorine pools were always clean and there was always lawn chairs available.

The food here was average. The included breakfast was alright, definitely in need of some changing of the menus. We were here three mornings and the chorizo always came up short of my expectations and the milk for coffee tastes like powdered milk. The restaurant for dinner was a pain to handle. The waiters took a really long time to get to you. Food came out at an okay pace but waiting for close to 30 minutes just to get a waiter to even start the process is just lousy. Definitely need to improve your dinner service.

Service was great. Front desk guy was amazing! Rooms were not what was expected. Too cheap looking. Pool and beach pool were great. Picnic spots were good. Food was good. Prices for food a bit high for the quality.

The cleaningness was super bad of the rooms.

Awesome!

I love the grounds, so great and full of foliage! The views of the beaches/oceans was immaculate. The staff was great-and very helpful when they could be. The restaurant had beautiful views! I recommend for the budget.

the size of the rooms were very tiny- although we weren't there much. while taking a shower the water did not drain very fast- something I dislike very much. Many staff don't speak english- means you need to brush up on the spanish.

It's only worth it for cliff views and the beaches right next tot it.

The lead person in the office staff ( the one with the laptop all the time. LOL )was very straightforward, and not so friendly to talk to every time I had to. He gave me a bad look when I asked for a towel when I didn't even have my room cleaned from me leaving a do not disturb on the door... Also, be careful... Check your receipt when paying in restaurants, most good restaurants' tip is included.

It was a great place to visit with my family (2 boys 8-6 years)

The location is beautiful! The beach is very good and secure, and it has some natural sea salt water made with the rocks on the cliffs.

The pillows were awful, i wish it had better pillows.

The views from the hotel are worth it

Breakfast options were excellent: buffet style with very good food. Restaurant Pelicanos is also very good and with nice presentation. The views from the hotel are beautiful, good size pools, clean location, quiet and relaxing.

Delays are long when you order at the main restaurant and service is not quick: not prompt at asking if we need something else, not enough cutlery on tables = need to ask for it, ask for coffee when you’ve been sitting for 10 mins already, ask milk for your coffee twice, ask for your tab, etc. Same if you rent their cabanas; tried to order twice but nobody came back. Maybe some training is missing because it seemed there was enough staff.
